The Space
Campo de Sueños is an ideal retreat for two small families or a group of up to eight guests. This peaceful sanctuary features a beautiful private pool set on a spacious one-acre property surrounded by lush gardens and hummingbirds. It offers a perfect place to relax and serves as a convenient base to explore five stunning beaches known for swimming and surfing, including Playa Negra, Playa Avellanes, and Playa Callejones, all located within a 4 to 10-minute drive.
The villa is architecturally striking and tucked away from the road behind a teak gate and landscaped grounds. It boasts flower gardens and unique clusters of shade trees, including a large mango tree that bears fruit in March. The main living area combines modern design with rustic charm, featuring vaulted ceilings, expansive concrete countertops, a kitchen island connected to a wooden dining table, and cool concrete floors. White insulating roof paint, three air conditioning units (one per bedroom), and multiple ceiling fans ensure comfort in all weather conditions.
Special design elements include jute, Turkish cotton, stone, Spanish tile, pottery, kantha bedspreads, and handcrafted furniture made from local trees by regional artisans. The home is fully equipped with soft cotton sheets, new mattresses and pillows, a complete kitchen with a NutriBullet for smoothies, stainless steel cookware, a coffee grinder and maker, serving sets, and ample paper towels and toilet paper for several days. Mini marts for additional supplies are just six minutes away.
This property accommodates various group sizes comfortably, making it suitable for couples or groups ranging from two to eight people.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
The villa contains three bedrooms with six beds that can sleep 8 to 9 guests:
- A king-sized master bedroom with an en suite bathroom
- A bedroom with a bunk bed (full bed on the bottom, twin on top) plus a separate twin bed
- A queen bedroom located just off the pool area with its own entrance, including an additional twin bed that can be moved into the bunk room if preferred
Bathrooms feature rainfall showerheads and decorative Spanish tiles.

The villa is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes from Liberia International Airport via paved roads with straightforward directions.

Guests may want to take advantage of the regular visits by food trucks offering fresh fish, pastries, fruits, and vegetables. A concierge food shopping service is available to stock the fridge before arrival for an additional $100 plus the cost of groceries. A detailed shopping list must be provided at least two days in advance, though exact items cannot be guaranteed.

La casa es bonita y tiene buen potencial. Sin embargo, el día de nuestra llegada vivimos una mala experiencia, ya que alguien ingresó a la propiedad mientras estábamos fuera y nos robaron nuestras pertenencias. La casa no cuenta con seguridad perimetral, pues no tiene tapias. Durante la visita de la policía, pudieron comprobar que, aunque dispone de verjas en las ventanas, estas pueden abrirse fácilmente desde afuera. Además, el portón no tenía candado para asegurarlo. A pesar de lo ocurrido, la anfitriona estuvo muy pendiente de la situación y brindó un trato excelente, al igual que el administrador local, quienes hicieron lo posible por apoyarnos ante lo sucedido. Al final, la policía nos informó que la zona había sido afectada recientemente por actos delictivos y que no era muy segura.

Es bonito, hay muchos muchos árboles y naturaleza, bastante privado y seguro y el señor Miguel contesta rápido; solo habían algunos contratiempos con la electricidad, imagino por la zona y algunos problemas con un aire acondicionado y la piscina que se fueron resolviendo durante la estadía.

El check in estuvo bien, el anfitrión nos esperó para entregarnos la casa aunque lamentablemente tuvimos varios problemas, por ejemplo: la casa no tiene aire acondicionado en la sala y cocina, tiene varios abanicos pero no son suficientes para el calor que hace, la olla arrocera es muy pequeña, la licuadora no sirve, no hay señal de cable en el televisor. El fondo de la piscina estaba baboso, falta mantenimiento a la piscina. Debe mejorar para obtener una mejor calificación

Es un lugar muy lindo, muy agradable la estadía; la casa es justo como se ve en las fotografías y el terreno es bastante grande al igual que la piscina. La playa que está a 5 minutos de la casa es realmente hermosa; una gran comunicación también con el host.

Kaethe’s place was perfect for our two families with 3 young kids. The house and yard and pool were perfect, lots of shade, a kid safe area in the pool and beautiful yard with great shade from the trees. On our third day of the visit we were visited by dozens of howler monkeys hanging out in the trees near the pool. Roosters in the morning mean you can leave your alarm clock at home. Kaethe and the property manager Miguel communicated proactively and responsively. Beautiful beaches nearby without big crowds, each within a few minutes drive. Plenty of local restaurants and places to get groceries. Good value for money, highly recommend.
