As an original build, it radiates charm and character, and we absolutely love its location—so close to the beach that you can see the ocean from the laneway! The villa is exclusively yours during your stay, including the 1/4-acre private yard and our brand-new 25' custom pool with a tranquil waterfall. While some aspects of the home are original and not modern or luxurious, it is thoughtfully maintained, clean, and full of authentic Costa Rican vibes. Here in Costa Rica, we embrace the Pura Vida lifestyle—a pure, simple way of living focused on quality time with loved ones. While the villa has everything you need for a comfortable stay, we encourage you to embrace this simplicity. Hard water marks or rust on glass or fixtures are common here and are simply part of rural Costa Rican living and not a sign of neglect. Parking is available in the laneway on site for 1 car. Additional cars may park on the road or up by the security guard entrance. You will have full access to the community and amenities when you stay at our villa. This includes on site convenience grocery store, ATM machine, Tennis/Basketball court (equipment not included) Community pool, community playgrounds, golf course -free walks on Monday, 8km of sandy secluded beach front, and Sunday mini farmers market at 10am sharp at the front gates. Other things to note Costa Rica is a biodiverse paradise, so expect to encounter plants, animals, bugs, geckos, and more—it’s part of the magic! While no home in the jungle is visitor-free, you can reduce ants and geckos by keeping food clear and dishes / counters clean. About Our Villa *Over 30+ years old, lovingly maintained, but showing its age with a dated kitchen, hard water stains on toilets/shower glass, and some exterior rust from the salt air. These quirks add character, not compromise. *Expect a variety of jungle visitors like bugs, geckos, and even crabs—it’s all part of living in harmony with nature! Community Updates *The clubhouse is being renovated, but the on-site store has moved to Azul del Mar area within the community. Essentials to Know *Sheets & towels: Provided for villa use only. Bring your own beach/pool towels. *Pets: We’re pet-friendly! Please clean up after them and ensure no damage. *Smart TV: Netflix and more available—use your own logins. *Internet: Enjoy fiber-optic high-speed WiFi with unlimited usage—no outages here! *Tap water: Fresh and safe to drink, straight from the mountains. *Garbage & recycling: Daily pick-up by noon (excluding Sundays). Glass/plastic recycling depot is a 2-minute walk away. Holiday Policy *Due to a prior negative experience, we no longer allow early check-ins or additional guests during holiday periods. This is not a party house and MAX occupancy is 8 people. Thank you for your understanding. Additional Info *The second door by the entrance is our private storage and not accessible to guests. This does not affect the 3 bed, 3 bath layout. Optional access to Barceló Tambor Resort for an additional fee—located just up the beach!
