We had a great overall stay at this property. The home looked exactly as pictured, and the grounds were beautiful—honestly one of the highlights of the experience. The house itself was comfortable, well-equipped, and worked very well for our larger group. The host was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The home was generally clean, though we did encounter a noticeable issue with ants in one of the bedrooms that required attention during our stay. My main concern was the number of people coming onto the property. There was someone there every day (groundskeeper, pool service, housekeeping, etc.), and on several occasions they arrived without prior notice. This made me uncomfortable, especially since I had younger adult children with me and didn’t feel at ease leaving them at the house alone. Overall, it’s a beautiful and well-appointed property, but I would recommend clearer communication around scheduled visits and advance notice for anyone coming onto the propert

My family of 6 just LOVED Teresita's home and would definitely recommend and would return. We talked about this rental easily being one of our top 3 all-time favorites out of all our travels! The photos don't do justice to the gorgeous backyard landscaping. It's all the little things inside that you'll notice and appreciate....very well stocked kitchen (spices, cold filtered water chilled in fridge, etc), coasters placed strategically around, laundry facilities we could use ourselves, abundance of towels inside and out. Also Teresita was most responsive and helpful in the warmest way, never intrusive, just perfectly available. We never used our cars since we could walk to town, literally outside our front gate located maybe 50 yards from front door. The grounds are surrounded by a high cement wall with secured gates, we never felt unsafe.

Beautiful house and yard! Very close to downtown but very peaceful and quiet inside the home. We enjoyed our stay and Teresita and her brother are great hosts!

We loved our stay at Teresita’s family home. It was all that was described and more. Beautiful finishes and attention to detail. Kitchen was well stocked and had many extras. I can’t say enough about the beauty of the house and surroundings. There was a pair of Scarlet Macaws that visited every day and a hummingbird nest next to the pool. The pool and outdoor space were great. We were a group of 5 and everyone had plenty of space. Jose let us leave our bags at the house since we arrived before check in time. They also arranged for us to have massages by the pool. Very convenient walk to town. Excellent experience overall.

This is my favorite air b&b I have ever stayed in! The property was beautiful and so well taken care of! Every detail was well thought out. Tons of room. Each room had storage and beautiful baths. It’s so close to town and walkable but private and safe. Pool is gorgeous. We loved our stay. Our only regret is not staying longer. The host was super friendly and helpful.

Notre séjour dans cette demeure de La Fortuna était formidable. La maison en elle même est luxueuse, mais le terrain, la végétation et la faune présente aux alentours nous a réjouis! Teresita nous a également fait sentir les bienvenues! Je retournerait sans le moindre doute.
