The Space

Prime Beachfront Location

Walk directly from the property onto the pristine white sands of Playa Pochomil. The beach is ideal for surfing, swimming, or relaxing beside the ocean. Surfing is available directly in front of the property, and beachfront restaurants are nearby.

This reservation is for a private casita. If other guests are staying on the property, the kitchen and pool area are shared. Guests have full use of the property’s common areas, except for the interiors of the other casitas and the second-floor bedroom in the Main Beach House.

For larger groups, another casita or the entire property can be reserved. The entire property accommodates up to 12 guests.

The Property

Kitchen

The Main Beach House includes a fully stocked kitchen with:

• Six-burner stove
• Standard refrigerator
• Cookware and kitchen essentials
• Barbecue

Casita #2 also includes a private mini-fridge.

Internet

High-speed internet is provided at the fastest available speed in the area, with 35 Mbps upload and download speeds. It is suitable for remote work and streaming.

Security and Parking

The property is enclosed by a 10-foot wall with secure gates and includes a private parking area. Security cameras are installed throughout the common areas for the protection of guests and the property.

A 24-hour on-site security team and groundskeeper, Yerling, are available to assist during your stay. Yerling lives in private quarters on the property.

Local Setting

Playa Pochomil offers a rustic and peaceful coastal experience. You may see pigs, goats, chickens, and other animals roaming near the beach. Sea turtles sometimes nest on the shore.

All roads leading to the property are paved and well maintained.

Private Chef

A private chef can prepare breakfast, lunch, or dinner at the Beach House. The chef will visit the day before the meal to discuss your preferences, then return with the ingredients and prepare the meal in the kitchen.

ATV Rentals

On-site ATVs are available for beach rides.

Horseback Riding

Horses can be brought directly to the Beach House for a ride along the beach.

Beer and Alcohol Delivery

With one day’s notice, a case of cold beer, bottles of rum, or other liquor can be ordered for delivery.

Surfboard Rentals

Surfboards can be delivered to the Beach House with one day’s notice.

A locally sponsored professional surfer can provide lessons.

Guests can consider the host team their personal concierge during the stay.

Guest Access

Guests have a private casita and full access to the property’s common areas. The interiors of the other casitas and the second-floor bedroom in the Main Beach House are not accessible.

When other casita guests are staying on the property, the pool and Main House kitchen area are shared.

Additional Information

The weather is generally between 78°F and 90°F year-round. The climate is not excessively humid and is often comfortable for enjoying the area.

Casita #2 does not have hot water. A hot-water shower is available in the Main House, just eight steps away, and guests are welcome to use it.

Air conditioning is available in the casita.

Nicaragua is a developing country, and Playa Pochomil is a rustic beach destination rather than a setting comparable to Miami Beach. Guests may see free-roaming animals, and the area does not offer the standard amenities associated with many developed destinations. Please research Nicaragua and Pochomil before booking and set expectations accordingly.

If you require everything to be consistently spotless and highly polished, this may not be the right destination for you.
