Nice place, beautifully decorated and the pool is amazing.

We stayed here for a girls trip for 4 nights and it was really really nice!!  The host was very responsive and had clear instructions and gave recommendations for things to do in the area. It’s very local to everything except secret beach but we didn’t mind the 1 hour drive. The place is just as the pictures describe and for 6 girls traveling to a new country we felt very safe on the property. All the staff are very friendly even the construction workers and security guards. There’s also access to the pool club (which you get 10% off at) and The Farmhouse which are great food spots. Overall 10/10 I would definitely book again!

Great stay, staff & property was beautiful. Their breakfast was amazing at the onsite restaurant as well. I would certainly stay again when I return to Belize.

I truly enjoyed my stay at the Paradise Cottage

I recently had an amazing experience with M&B Luxury Rentals, and I have to specifically recognize Melki for his outstanding service. From start to finish, he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. He was incredibly responsive, always quick to answer any questions and handle any requests with ease. More importantly, his kindness and genuine care made the entire experience feel seamless and stress-free. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated to delivering top-tier service, and Melki truly exceeded expectations. Because of him, this trip was that much more enjoyable. I will absolutely be returning and highly recommend M&B Luxury Rentals to anyone looking for a first-class experience.

A total of 5 of us stayed at Mahogany Bay for my birthday recently. The staff were friendly and the check-in process was seamless. The space was accommodative for the five of us comfortably. The pool and patio were very nice. They directed us to local excursions; we rented the golf-cart and booked the catamaran excursion through with their recommendation. I would recommend this space it's a short drive from local restaurants and connected to the Hilton's Pool Club, which was nice for drinks and food. This was my first time traveling to Belize and I can't wait to go back for Lobster season.

Beautiful, spacious home. The resort crew were so helpful. The property was gorgeous. We even ended up booking another stay across the street because we loved the area so much. We will be back!

Easy checkin. Good communication. A nice home for couple or family. Beautiful neighborhood setting dipping pool was nice. It could use an umbrella to provide some shade. Screened in porch was a highlight. Note, dull kitchen knives if you need them. But otherwise well equipped kitchen All in all a wonderful place and atmosphere. Would book again in mahogany bay! We knew construction in the area which will be completed by summer but meant a little less privacy.

This cottage was awesome! It clean an comfortable. The peppery staff were professional, helpful and responsive.

My two girlfriends and I had a wonderful stay at M&B Luxury Rental. The place was exactly as described — clean, comfortable, and stocked with great amenities. We especially loved the location. They were upfront about the nearby construction, which we appreciated. It didn’t bother us much, but work does start fairly early (around 7:30 a.m.), so if you’re hoping to sleep in, you might want to plan your stay once the construction behind and next to the property is finished. Overall, we had a great experience — the house and location were fantastic. We especially enjoyed the pool club, and the Farm House Market had excellent coffee. Would definitely recommend! ☀️

The home was beautiful and clean. There’s a plunge pool in the back and a nice size screened porch. We had all the basic amenities and coffee! There was construction happening during the day next door and behind the house. It was a bit noisy because of the construction

looked like the pictures. 10 minutes from the ‘square’. great location. pro tip: drop a pin once you get to your unit.

M&B were extremely helpful and responsive. The home was beautiful and looked exactly like the pictures. I would recommend them to anyone and stay with them again in the future. Our group of 7 fit very comfortably.

First off the cottage, while small, was lovely. Very clean, beautifully furnished, and safe and secure. The downside of the cottage is there is a LOT of construction (to be fair mentioned in the listing), starting around 7 am and is very loud. There are a few lovely stores and a couple restaurants but overall not much to do besides going to the small pool club. Location is great, but the only sand we saw was an hour away by golf cart.

Family of 5 and we had an amazing stay! The place was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, peaceful and picturesque. The concierge service was exceptional, and they even arranged a boat to pick us up right from the doorstep! Truly one of our best stays yet. Will stay return.

Such a beautiful place on the island to stay. Very secluded while still not being too far from the action happening on the island. The pool is a plus! The host sometimes can take a few hours to respond but they are always willing to help. I’m a picture girl so a full body mirror would be a great addition but besides that I have no complaints! The mosquitoes are BAD so protect your skin but definitely stay at Mahogany Bay!

We had a fantastic stay at Paradise Cottage. The kids loved sleeping upstairs in their own little area. The kitchen is well equipped. We loved the pool and view of the canal and were very thankful for the couple of games (cards, guess who? And apples to apples) we were able to play on the day that had nonstop rain, thunder and lightning.

Incredibly friendly staff! Clear instructions prior to arrival, met us at the ferry station for transport to our cottage, and delivered golf carts at our front door. Communication was timely. Overall, a lovely stay!

I overly enjoyed my stay. The unit was extremely comfy and cozy. I didn’t have a problem with bugs at all because I cut the screen close and I had bug spray.  There isn’t a lot to do on the resort, but the island is small so everything is nearby if you have a golf cart

This is in Mahogany Bay, which is about 10-15 minutes from town. Slightly more expensive but more than worth it for luxury vacations. See Oscar and Korina across the street in the Orange mansion and connect amazing locals. The inexperienced host (5/9/2025) does not properly explain how to operate the homes amenities or rules or toilet paper issue, so make sure to look it up. Still mazing and worth it. Go..to...secret...Beach!

The place was very nice & just like the pictures. It had everything we needed for our stay. The kids loved the pool. The patio area was very comfy and nice to hang out. We will definitely be back soon.

This was a last minute booking for us because our flight was canceled. We needed lodging for our family of 6 for 2 nights. We felt it was clean and safe but definitely small for 6 people. The location was about 10-15 minutes drive from town. Pros: host communication was excellent. We were given information and instructions clearly and all questions were answered quickly. We arrived before check-in and were allowed to leave our bags at the check-in center which were then delivered to our rental. Rental was clean and safe. Price was reasonable. Cons: ad for the property listed a pool available for use. When checking in we were told that in order to use the pool we had to spend $50 USD per day at the clubhouse. Our rental did not have clean drinking water provided, only a filter in the fridge that was insufficient for filtering bacteria in water. Some of the doors were not air tight allowing mosquitoes/bugs to enter the house.

I had an amazing stay at M&B rental. This grounds are well kept, 24/7 security provided, and great amenities. The host was very responsive and recommended services such as massages, excursions and transportation options. The only suggestion - BRING BUG SPRAY. The BnB is located right by a canal/river. Thank you for hosting us, very professional and efficient.

The house was great! Perfect for our family of 5. The hosts were very welcoming and receptive to any requests. The house was clean and cozy. Beds were all comfortable. Be aware that one of the bedrooms does not have room for opening your luggage and does not have a closet, but we managed with our luggage in the living room. It did take a little time for our children to get used to not flushing toilet paper, but they adjusted. Overall, house was a wonderful experience! Note for Belize travel (not just limited to this home), bring bug spray.

My stay was excellent. The property is beautiful, fully equipped, and exactly as shown in the pictures. The hosts were very attentive and helped us with everything, including arranging transportation, which was incredibly helpful. The neighborhood is lovely and very safe. While it’s a bit away from downtown San Pedro, the distance isn’t too far, and the place is definitely worth it. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would recommend it.

The staff at Mahogany Bay were wonderful to work with. They turned what could have been a very unfortunate trip into something wonderful by being so responsive and accommodating. The place itself was very nice with comfortable beds and a lovely screened in porch. The drive to town is only 15 min and it was nice to be sleeping in a more quiet portion of town. Very lovely stay for my family and I.

First time in Belize and highly recommend it

This home was a gem! I have been a Belize traveler for nearly 15 years, and this was clearly the best place I've stayed while visiting. Great location, communication, and a genuine feeling of "home." I would highly recommend it.

Beautiful place, just add down in the pictures. Beautiful property even with work in progress. Helpful and courtesy property managers. we got a little list trying to find the place and he stayed in the phone directing us until we arrived. We only stayed one night so we did not fully get to check out all amenities.

Everything was nice and easy.  I would say it's on the edge of the city but still easy to get to. I would stay again.

Was a nice place but the expectations weren’t met! It would’ve been nice to know the property was under construction and we were unable to flush the toilet paper which is abnormal for US citizens. SO MAYBE PREPARE PEOPLE!

Thank you for the review Tiffiny. As a superhost we take all reviews and feedback seriously because those are the real experiences we build ourselves on. While you did mention a couple points, like the flushing of toilet paper or construction. Over two years of hosting hundreds of guests in Paradise Cottage have we received a review and rating especially from an overnight guest. The situation with the construction is clearly mentioned in every single listing as this is something we have no control but do mention it so our guests are aware. The toilet issue is something that all our guests abide by since we have to work with what the sewer company has instructed us to do for cleanliness and effectiveness. I remember i was giving directions and was left standing and you just left. We would consider that not nice. We even waived our checkout policy when you mentioned that you would like t leave a little after. In general as a superhost we believe that your review and rating was based on a combination of other situations.

We had a great 3-day stay here. This was a great deal and the home was just as advertised. The host was extremely responsive and welcoming. Will book again next year!

Me and my friends had a great time. There were five of us! It was our first time to Belize. The pool club was great but kind of high prices. The rooms were nicely decorated nice and cool air conditioner and ceiling fans!!!. My bed was so comfortable!!! my only recommendation is they need more mirrors besides just the one small mirror in the bathroom. Great host, super responsive and helpful. Overall, great experience, wonderful kitchen, will definitely come back again. Highly recommend.😁😁😁

We really enjoyed this property. The scenery was so beautiful and the cottage was just as described.The place was clean  and the WiFi signal was good our entire stay. We didn’t have any problem with mosquitoes at all. We felt safe and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the screened in patio! The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to make breakfast daily and that was a plus. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

Hosts were professional and I was extremely impressed on them already having a taxi present waiting on us for pick up from the boat dock to take us to the house. Contacted me in advance to find out arrival time. Went above and beyond to try and accommodate me and any requests I had. The home was clean, peaceful and spacious. Overall, great stay.

The location looks even better than the pictures. A golf cart is needed to get around and parking is upfront. There was constant communication with the host and I did a last minute booking. The food and service onsite was wonderful. Everyone I encountered went above and beyond to make my stay great. Bring Deep Woods Off for the mosquitoes. The area needs to be treated for mosquitos. Especially when it rains. Construction is being done so I'm guessing that after everything is done it will be even better but I still enjoyed everything. We plan on returning soon with friends and family.

My only issue was the mosquitoes. They’re treacherous and was getting in the house some way. The entire Mahogany Village have them bad. They need to do some type of treatment. However, the property was beautiful, met my expectations and I was pleased. Don’t think twice of booking here but bring DEEP WOOD OFF, regular OFF spray does nothing

Our stay at this property was ideal on all accounts. I highly recommend. The other reviews mentioned mosquito problem, but we did not encounter a single mosquito for the entire trip. I think that may be seasonal. Be aware that the ladder to climb to the loft is very steep, but the property was absolutely gorgeous and we had the time of our lives.

One of the most accurate Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at. I was visiting San Pedro on business and MB Luxury Vacation Rentals made it feel like a vacation. Whenever I return to Belize I’m only staying at their properties.

This was the perfect home away from home. The cottage had everything we needed, a ready to use kitchen, washer/dryer, TV, a beautiful screened-in porch to enjoy mornings and sunsets without bugs. Beautifully landscaped and very friendly staff across the property. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Relaxing vacation home for my family of four.

everything was  as described in listing. They are very responsive and on top of getting anything fixed when a problem comes up. The beds were very comfortable.

Not enough wonderful things to say about this house.  Easy access to the beautiful Pool Club and restaurants (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) within Mahogany Bay.  Hosts were super helpful and accommodating every step of the way with assistance/recommendations with tours, flights, golf carts, transportation, restaurants, etc. Location relative to town is perfect!  I could go on and on. You will not regret your stay at the Paradise Cottage!!

I am an airbnb host in NY and was glad I found this location. Out of the hustle and bustle of the "City Center" with great restaurants and coffee shop. Our host was very nice and always responsive. Great place to spend a few days and unwind.

We made a last minute plan to spend a day in San Pedro and were lucky enough to find this gem! The set up was amazing and clean! The air conditioning works wonderfully, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, and the host was great to work with. We will definitely be back and hope to spend more time there.

The team at MB Luxury was top notch, super friendly and proactive when asked about providing yoga mats for example. Very communicative. Much of the road the cottage sits on is still under construction but not an issue at night or the weekends for the most part. It could get noisy during the day. This isn’t the work from home place. Access to Poolside is a big plus since the cottage does not have a pool. They did a great job with the restaurant, pool and bar. The place could use a dresser draw or two with no real place to put your clothes, lack of hooks etc. Beds were comfortable with very good bedding.

Nice property within the resort! Pool club was great for relaxing and Esther was friendly and helpful. If you want to leave the resort you will need a golf cart to get downtown

Our stay was wonderful. Melki and staff were friendly, responsive and accommodating.  The beds were VERY comfortable.  We slept wonderfully.  In town for food we had a great meal at the patio and close to the property we liked the place with the brick oven  pizza- forget the name. Would recommend this property.

A family of four, we stayed five nights and it was fantastic. The property is a little outside the Centre of San Pedro on an exclusive development that is a work in progress. A golf buggy is essential for getting in and out of San Pedro. Easy to park next to the property. Quite a few restaurants and local street food vendors are within a 5 mins golf buggy ride as fare a few supermarkets. San Pedro centre (Clock Tower) is a 15 mins golf buggy ride away. The cottage is clean and functional and would be adequate for a party of up to 5-6 adults. Four double beds Two on the maz floor accessed by a set of steepish steeps/ladder. The covered outside porch gives extra space. Aircon is great. Facilities (tv / WiFi, washing machine etc) worked well. Shower was functional. Towels and linen provided which was good. The outside/area is quiet at night and we felt totally safe. We loved our stay and wished we could stay longer. Would wholeheartedly recommend this property.

My daughter & I loved it here. The location, atmosphere, and service. I am looking to build my home in the same location so it was helpful to stay on-site to learn about the service my own clients will get when I build. We did everything from yoga on the porch, record social media content, to curling up on the couch to have a movie night. The host was super responsive and even checked up on use via messages to let us know he was available if we needed anything. Sheets were crisp clean, kitchen was very well stocked, and everything just flowed with the decor. NOTE: You can't flush tissue yet due to the construction of the subdivision, I am sure that will change as the neighborhood develops. Plenty of trash cans were provided to accommodate.

Overall great rental & value for the money!  Home was absolutely perfect. Not even one bug spotted inside property & kitchen had everything needed.  Beds comfortable too & AC/fans kept temp perfect to escape the heat when needed.  Only bummer was no community pool area yet, but hosts were apologetic & accommodating.  Even with no easy/free access to pool, this was an incredible property for the price.

This rental was everything we wanted and more! The cottage was expertly cleaned before our arrival. The management company was incredibly helpful during booking all the way up to check out. The location is super quiet and peaceful. It's a short distance from all the action via golf cart. That was a bonus for us! We will definitely be booking here again!

One of the videos providing instructions did not make it to us, so we got quite lost in the community for some time. That being said, our host was quick to come to us and personally guide us to the house. Things would have probably been a lot easier if we hadn't been having so many cell phone issues (they tried to call us multiple times and seemed very helpful, but we couldn't answer). The place was gorgeous inside and out, had ample amenities, a covered patio looking out at the water, and nice restaurants nearby. There were some pretty aggressive ants in the kitchen, but the hosts replied promptly to our concern when we told them and I'm sure they would have sorted it out given the opportunity.

Melki was great! The space was great! We loved everything about it. Definitely a bit away from town, so need a golf cart, but completely worth it! We really enjoyed the stay. Our friends stayed at the resort, but the value of this place and the space made us glad we chose to stay here versus the resort. Melki was very responsive and helped us prior to the stay, during the stay amd even checked to make sure we were able to get to the airport on time. Loved everything about it!!!
