Outside, a spacious entertainment area surrounds a large pool, perfect for relaxing swims while enjoying unobstructed views of the ocean, lush jungle, and stunning sunsets. The outdoor space also includes a sizable BBQ grill, ideal for memorable alfresco dining experiences. Colorful lorikeets often add vibrant touches to the tranquil atmosphere.
Security cameras are discreetly installed on the exterior, complying with Airbnb’s guidelines.
Please note this is an adults-only property. No dogs or pets are permitted.
Location
Situated on a mountain above the city of Santa Teresa, the property is located on Calle Buenas Aires Road. Due to its elevated position, walking to the beach is possible but returning involves a steep climb. For the best experience, a quad bike or a four-wheel-drive vehicle is recommended. All-wheel-drive and 4WD vehicles are especially advisable during the rainy season.

- The bathtub shown in some photos is currently not operational due to severe water shortages in the Puntarenas area.

We love Casa Alex and Casa Lorie! It was the perfect place for us (2 couples). The kitchen is well appointed, the pool really lovely, and the nightly sunset views fantastic. We especially enjoyed the local wildlife, who visited pretty regularly, as well as the rich bird life. Our concierge, Will, was the best - always responsive and helpful. Will definitely return again!!!

First of all, I really love Santa Teresa. It has the best combination of a beautiful and walkable beach, fantastic restaurants, and great shopping. This house is perfectly located off the beaten path, but not too far away where you are climbing a rugged hill for long. It's elevated enough to be away from the busy town and perfectly situated for incredible sunsets. I highly recommend this place for two couples or a family.

If you are looking for a place that feels like a real home, not just a borrowed house - this is it! We felt right at home immediately. Everything you need in the kitchen, a perfect little outdoor shower, and my favorite part was the patio and beautiful, comfortable furniture outside. The views were incredible. You can see so many birds and hear the monkeys - especially in the morning. We had our coffee, breakfast, and dinner outside every day to enjoy the beauty of this place. The pool was so perfect for evening swims or afternoon naps on the pool float. I read my kindle in the pool for hours just listening to the ocean and the birds. Santa Teresa is such a treasure and this place is a true gem 💎! We took several recommendations from Will and did a fishing tour with Day Trips (highly recommend!). He helped arrange a very early airport taxi for us and was so helpful and welcoming the entire time. I really appreciated the 2 large beach blankets provided they came in so handy. Pura Vida!

Beautiful private villa , stunning views, well appointed with almost everything you need. The sunsets are beyond words with lots of places to sit and take it in. The pool was perfect for those hot days and is designed well. The hosts were very responsive and dealt with any issues that popped up.

We absolutely loved staying here. The house is very welcoming and comfortable as well as easy to find and easy parking. Now, the view…that’s amazing!! We were able to relax and enjoy just being there. The outdoor area & pool are very well maintained as is the entire house. Will, the caretaker/concierge is super friendly, helpful and the owners are very lucky to have him as their representative. The beach and many great restaurants are a short drive away. We would most definitely love to rent this place again ❤️

Beautiful spot - truly an amazing place that’s one to remember forever. Great for two couples or two groups that want to be together but also some separate space. Worth noting the road up is very steep, unpaved and has lots of pot holes. Definitely recommend 4WD or ATV to get up there. Will was very attentive and easy to communicate with. He went above and beyond getting us yoga mats, helping with restaurant bookings and bringing us more towels. We loved this magical spot and would love to come back one day!
