The Space

This beachfront studio rental is located in the heart of Nicaragua’s Emerald Coast. It offers unbeatable access to the beach, stunning views, and proximity to various activities. The studio is ideal for couples or beach enthusiasts seeking an affordable and convenient stay.

The property is popular among surfers who appreciate the consistent offshore winds that shape the fast, heavy barrels at Playa Colorado and the rolling peaks at Panga Drops.

The studio is an in-law unit situated at the entrance of the home, separate from the main house to the east. It includes air conditioning, a bathroom, and a kitchenette. The sleeping area features two twin beds that can be combined into a king-size bed upon request, accommodating either two singles or a couple comfortably.

Guests may have access to the main house’s swimming pool when it is not occupied by other renters; however, pool access is not available when the main house is rented. A propane-powered generator provides backup electricity during outages. For added security, a large safe is available.

Housekeeping staff handle laundry services exclusively, as they have sole access to the washer and dryer. This service is included with the stay.

Grocery Shopping

The nearest grocery store is La Colonia in Rivas, located 100 meters south of the Tola turnoff on the west side of the street. It is recommended to stock up on groceries here for your entire stay. Fuel stations are also nearby in Rivas.

For convenience, a full-service meal plan with catering is available upon request, eliminating the need for shopping and meal preparation.

Getting Around

The property is approximately a 2 to 2.5-hour drive from Augusto C. Sandino International Airport in Managua and about 4 hours from Liberia Airport in Costa Rica.

Most major car rental companies operate at Managua airport, and advance reservations are recommended. A four-wheel-drive vehicle is only necessary if traveling to beaches further south, such as those near San Juan del Sur.

For those not renting a vehicle, airport transfers and daily sightseeing or surf trips can be arranged. Motorcycle and scooter rentals are also available. Additionally, transportation by vehicle or boat to other surf breaks in the area can be organized.
