The stay at the placita was good. It was located on a great neighborhood and about 15 minutes to west end beach and restaurants. It is a walk though, hills and all. Place was peaceful and quiet. View was great. You can hear the ocean waves at all time.

You can see that the House was decorated with an incredible affection and love but I need a large maintenance the kitchen almost has no utensils left the light for five hours we were without electric power must invest in a system that the house when the energy that is very usual on the island is gone. the pool was dirty. The lack of maintenance We could not enjoy it due to the lack of hygiene in the pool

Se nota que la Casa fue decorada con un cariño y amor increíble pero necesito un Mantenimiento grande la cocina casi no tiene utensilios se fue la luz durante cinco horas estuvimos sin energía eléctrica deben invertir en un sistema que la casa cuando se vaya la energía que es muy usual en la isla.  la piscina estaba sucia le falta Mantenimiento no pudimos disfrutar de ella debido a la falta de higiene en la piscina

We love the house so much, in a very peaceful and safe neighborhood, it is so clean, beautiful and spacious, plenty of towels, the only thing is the dryer doesn't work, I texted the host, she sent someone to check it, then no more response after that.  We had to hang all the towels and clothes everywhere like a laundry room.

This house is gorgeous!! But I think they need a new cleaning person because the towels looked Scarryyy, please do yourself a favor and bring your own towels, and bring wash clothes they didn’t have any. The WiFi was terrible, and the house was bare, no spices in sight. Not even the basic salt and pepper. The fresh water was readily available but the hot part didn’t work. The neighborhood is safe and gorgeous. If you don’t mind walking, please go for a walk. If you have a driver things will be so much easier. Like food shopping and taking a trip to west end for the clubs. Overall a gorgeous house, but attention to details is a big necessity. Pool is amazing but sitting area is full of bird poop. It’s like everything’s gorgeous but certain details just took the beauty away.

This was one of my favorite places I’ve stayed in Roatan! The home is clean, spacious, private, has a pool looking over the sea! We rented a car and it was 2min drive to infinity bay on west bay. The beach is gorgeous.  Edder who was recommended by the owner picked us up from the airport.. he is amazing any issue the owners managed with ease. I recommend to anyone!!!! What a fabulous vacation spot, we will recommend and be back!

The house was beautiful upon first glance but when looking closer there were some concerns about maintenance. The layout of the rooms was spacious and open with drawers and a lot of closet space. The beds were comfortable and the views were beautiful (the sunset from the window in the master bathroom was really nice).  The bathrooms were also modern. The shower in the main bedroom had great water pressure and the water stayed warm. Some furniture outside was worn along with rusting on the sides of the pool. Inside also needed a deep clean and updates with holes in the wall in the living room. We did have an incident with some bugs and a rodent but the host was extremely responsive and accommodating in this situation. Christine was super helpful with everything we needed and worked quickly to fix any concerns. Edder (transportation/tour guide set up by the host) was personable, friendly, and truly went above and beyond for our stay. The location was good w/transportation.

Beautiful house in the best area of Roatan. Pool was fantastic. Fun to watch the cruise ships sail by. Restaurants were close by if you have a car. Tried walking to West Bay once and it's quite the hill so only attempt if you're in great shape.

We really enjoyed are our stay at La Placita Inn. The house was very clean and in a great West Bay location. The host was very responsive and quickly answered our questions and followed through with our requests. Extra water bottles were delivered anytime we needed refills. The air conditioning units worked great and quickly cooled down the rooms. The kitchen didn’t have a lot of extra items so be prepared to bring the staples with you. (Spices, condiments, etc) Also the kitchen sink does not have hot water so we needed to spend a bit of extra time scrubbing the dishes. (No dishwasher) Overall we really our stay and would recommend La Placita to anyone looking for a good West Bay vacation home.

We had a lovely stay at La Placita Inn! The view of the ocean was amazing. The home was spacious with a nice selection of amenities.

Enjoyed the feeling of luxury in this very spacious home with pool and large patio with a view. We were a party of 6 adults and appreciated that all 3 bedrooms were excellent and had ensuite bathrooms. Location wise the neighborhood was quiet and walkable, and snorkeling was only a block away at the Meridian beach which was some of best we had on Roatan.

We had a wonderful stay, we hope to stay again sometime soon! This home is in a wonderful area in close proximity to activities!

It was a great place, loved pool,  the bedrooms, and the new was beautiful.  it was all we hoped it would be. would stay again!

Very well equipped home! Everything was clean and very well worth our stay!

Beautiful home stunning view great location. There are things that could be addressed that would improve this house. Some of the living room furniture in need of TLC. Some of the couches had tears in them. Wall underneath window in master bedroom is in need of repair. The outdoor furniture had lots of stains and seemed dirty, which was really unfortunate. No one bothered to turn on the pool filters prior to our stay. We did not realize this until three days into our stay. Pool was getting quite dirty when pool guy eventually came he informed us that the filters were never turned on. It would have been great if that would’ve been taken care of prior to our arrival. Better glassware would be great it would’ve been nice to have stainless steel pots and pans. The pots and pans are Teflon coated which I hate they are so unhealthy to cook with especially when they are scratched and peeling like they where. Wifi signal very weak in 2nd fl. Host was excellent with communication.

Overall, very happy with my stay!  There were  a few issues when we first arrived but they were resolved quickly.  It would have been nice if the issues we encountered were addressed ahead of our arrival (they were easy to identify-e.g, dirty pool).

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. Lots of space. Each room has its own private full bathroom. The AC worked great. The pool has an amazing view of the ocean. We definitely look forward to coming back next year!!

Casa Sunrise is a beautiful villa, and a perfect location for a family vacation. It's a large and very comfortable home, with incredible views over the south-east coast of Roatán. On a clear day you can see the Cayos Cochins islands and even the Honduran mainland. The pool is beautiful, as are the sun decks/patios. Inside the house it's large, airy and modern, with lots of space for everyone. The pictures don't do it justice. Casa Sunrise is located in a great spot. It's in the very private and quiet Lighthouse Estates, but only a couple of minutes drive (or 15 minutes walk - but with a steep hill on the return journey!) from the beach, shops and restaurants at West Bay. West End is also only 10-15 minutes away by car, and Coxen Hole, and the airport, is 30 minutes away. Connie was a brilliant host. Thank you! She was very responsive, always got back in touch with us, and went out of her way to welcome us and show us around when we first arrived. We can't wait to go back!

We had an amazing stay at La Placita, and couldn’t believe how amazing the space really  is. Pictures do not come close to doing justice to just how beautiful and tranquil the space is. Waking up and falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves was like something out of a dream. The host Connie was very responsive, friendly and accommodating which only added to the positive time we had.

The house is absolutely gorgeous and well worth the money you will not be disappointed with this place

We really enjoyed our stay at this house.  The deck and pool area were amazing.  The weather turned very windy, however, which made it not so pleasant outside on that side of the island.  But would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here the first week in 2023.   The place is great with fantastic views.  The large bedrooms.  Great bathrooms.  New washer & dryer.  You can walk to the beach at West Bay in about 15 min or take the car and park for free by the Infinity Resort.  Would stay here again.

Fantastic trip to Roatan.  Casa Sunrise was a lovely home in a perfect location for our family.  Easy walk to West Bay Beach with all its restaurants, shops and activities.

Outstanding sunrise. 5:45AM! You have to get up and watch it. Oh, and the house is beautiful. Excellent communication by host. Loved it!!

The house, location and owner are great. However it is a little out dated and in need of maintenance. Towels and linen are old and limited kitchen plates/glasses. Given how beautiful the location and house is it's a shame the final touches aren't there. Connie was excellent!

The stay was great, the house was beautiful and it's location was fabulous. I really enjoyed the patio area with the beautiful ocean view and sounds and being able to see so many stars. I would definitely stay here again. Connie was very helpful with recommendations and was there for anything that we needed.

This is a large beautiful luxury home with plenty of space for three couples or even a family of 8. Amazing views of the water and nice neighborhood (very safe and pretty). The beach is only a few minutes walk and it's very private and peaceful. The only downside to it is that the house does need a little TLC, it is starting to show some differed maintenance that should be attended to for such a nice place. Very minor, but details like nicer towels, nicer linens, and better water pressure in the showers would really make this place First Class...it's the only reason we gave it 4 stars instead of 5. However, for the very fair price, it is a still a bargain overall.  We loved our visit to Roatan and our stay in Sunset Villa!

Absolutely beautiful. It was a privilege to stay at this home. Positioned on the edge of the south shore, the views morning and evening were perfect. The location is on a quiet part of the island with tons of privacy and is close to West Bay and only another 8 minutes to the West End. The pool is amazing, private and out of the view from the neighbors. A dip in the morning or the evening is required, or you could spend the entire day at the home lounging by the pool, enjoying the view and the house. The house itself feels modern and spacious with lots of sitting areas. If you're a couple or a family of needing three bedrooms, the house has plenty of room, but isn't so large that you get lost. I'm returning to Roatan in July and would stay here again, but the house is booked through the month. If you find openings for this house, don't wait to book it. It will be gone. Also, communication was always perfect.

This place was BREATHTAKING!!! Everything about this experience was amazing!!! Special special shout out to the host! From the moment we arrived he was SO ATTENTIVE! He even got us connected to a chef AND a doctor to complete our Covid test!! We were near everything and it made it so much easier to enjoy his home! We will definitely be back!!

We stayed at Casa Sunrise for New Year's, the spaces are exceptional, the view spectacular, the pool area as seen in the photos. We felt very good. We were 6 adults and a girl, and we all had our spaces. Super recommended!!!!!!!!!! We went back without hesitation.

What a fabulous house...the view, pool, decor, beds, and it's much larger than the  photos appear.  Connie was great from the moment we confirmed our reservation and so helpful to meet us for checkin and had so many other helpful suggestions .   The internet is was strong which was a relief since I had work to do.  can't wait to return to this beautiful spot.

This home is very pleasant and well equipped. Aside from the gorgeous view, the home itself was VERY clean and beautiful!  The pool water was clear and all the rooms were spotless. This is the spot to definitely hang with family and friends. The host Connie was very helpful and even pointed out a Tour guide for us. Best service ever !

My family had a wonderful time at this home. The home is at a prime location and very close to West End. The host Connie was very accommodating and the communication was impeccable. The host was able to accommodate pick up from the airport and trips to the supermarket at an additional reasonable price with Don Santos, who is very kind as well. There were no issues with the electricity or internet during their stay. Overall the house was beautiful, however, they were a little disappointed with the depth of the pool as it only reaches waist level for an adult and they were expecting a full depth pool. Other than this, they would highly recommend staying at this home for your next trip to Roatan!

Excellent service!! The Girls at the lobby are super helpful and with a great attitude. Location is great with different restaurants and stores for convinience.

The house is beautiful and the location is also the very friendly hosts and tried to solve every problem that was presented to us, however we did not have a great time in our stay because the light went to us on several occasions, we were without internet for more than a day, and in the kitchen there were several mice that spoiled us to lose several foods that the hosts very kindly received from us, however this situation gave us more work and stress, the house is high profile so it should be prepared with a plant for when the light goes away, since it fails a lot and this also doesn't allow us to enjoy the days as it should.

La casa es hermosa y la ubicación muy buena también los anfitriones muy amables y trataron de resolver cada problema que se nos fué presentando, sin embargo no la pasamos del todo bien en nuestra estadía porque se nos fue la luz en varias ocasiones, estuvimos sin internet por más de un día, y en la cocina habían varios ratones que nos echaron a perder varios alimentos que los anfitriones muy amablemente nos repusieron, sin embargo esta situación nos dio más trabajo y estrés, la casa es de alto perfil por lo que debería estar preparada con una planta para cuando la luz se va, ya que falla mucho y esto tampoco permite disfrutar los días como se debe.

Amazing oceanfront view! Check in was very easy with the help of Connie who works at La Placita Inn, she showed us the way to the house and gave us our key. She showed us the entire house and everything that came with it. I highly recommend this house!

We had the best vacation ever in Roatan in this amazing house. We literally never left the home because we had everything we needed there, amazing views, the pool, serenity and comfort that this home has to offer. But if you need a beach, the community is minutes from One of the best beaches “West Bay” that Roatan has to offer. I definitely recommend this home and we will be coming back sometime soon!
