Montecristo is a private gated community situated on the mountainside in Los Cabos, Mexico. It offers breathtaking ocean views overlooking the entire Quivira Los Cabos area, which features an exclusive Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course. The community is beautifully landscaped and maintained, with access to a stunning clubhouse.

Located at the tip of the Baja Peninsula in Cabo San Lucas, Montecristo Villas provide a unique and spectacular setting for a memorable getaway.

The Space

Montecristo Villas are designed to meet your needs, ensuring a comfortable and rewarding stay. Each villa includes luxurious amenities such as:

• Private infinity pool
• Indoor and outdoor Jacuzzi
• Spacious terraces
• Central family room
• Reading areas
• Walk-in closets

Please note:

• Our listings are not tied to a specific villa, but all villas share the same amenities and layouts.
• Every villa has a private pool and Jacuzzi on the terrace.
• Views vary between villas; while we cannot guarantee the exact view shown in photos, it will be similar.
• Villa location requests are not accepted. We manage villas in both Phase I and Phase II of Montecristo.

Booking and Guest Policy

• Pricing is based on the number of guests. Please book for the correct number of people.
• If additional guests arrive beyond the booked number, extra guest fees will apply and double if reported during or after check-in.
• You may add guests before arrival at the original extra guest fee by notifying us at least a few days in advance to avoid increased charges.
• Housekeeping is not included but can be added for $80 USD per day.
• Please review our house rules carefully, as the Montecristo Community enforces strict regulations.
• Basic kitchen items such as salt, pepper, condiments, oils, foil, plastic wrap, coffee, and sugar are not provided.

Environmental Sanitation Tax

The municipality of Los Cabos has introduced an Environmental Sanitation Tax to support local community improvements. This tax applies to all reservations made from September 8, 2022, onward.

• The tax is 33.68 Mexican Pesos per room per night (approximately $1.70 USD, depending on exchange rates).
• It is charged at check-out in addition to the rental fee.
• Funds support environmental infrastructure, sustainability, safety, and security projects.

COVID-19 Safety Protocols

Quivira Vacation Rentals follows strict health and safety measures based on global hotel consulting recommendations to ensure guest and staff well-being.

Cleanliness and Hygiene

• Hand sanitizing stations are installed at key locations including front desks and restaurant entrances.
• Certified sanitization products are used for cleaning, focusing on high-touch surfaces.
• Certified third-party sanitization is performed before reopening and periodically thereafter.

Arrival Procedures

• External luggage sanitization via steam cabin or sanitizing devices.
• Guest sanitization cabins and temperature checks using infrared thermometers.
• Guests with temperatures above 38°C (100.4°F) will be evaluated by a doctor and may be denied access.
• Mobile pre-check-in is available.

In-Room Amenities

• Hand sanitizer and sanitizing spray provided.
• Masks and gloves available upon request.
• Paper amenities, pens, and magazines are removed but can be provided on request.

Social Distancing and Facility Use

• Elevator capacity limited to two people unless family members.
• Public area furniture arranged to maintain at least 1.8 meters (6 feet) distance.
• Pool loungers grouped in twos or fours, spaced 1.8 meters apart.
• Fitness center equipment sanitized after each use; capacity limits enforced.
• Spa capacity reduced and equipment sanitized regularly.

Food and Beverage

• Restaurant and bar seating arranged for 1.8 meters distancing with maximum capacity limits.
• Staff wear masks; contactless room service is available.
• Menus are digital; physical menus removed.
• Social distancing reminders displayed on tables.

Golf Club Measures

• Golf carts and balls sanitized before and after use.
• Capacity limits at reception and practice areas.
• Tee times spaced by 15-minute intervals.
• One golf cart per person unless requested for family members.
• New rules minimize touchpoints during play (e.g., flagsticks remain in holes, bunker rakes removed).

COVID-19 Response

• On-site detection team includes a physician, general manager, operations manager, and head of security, coordinating with health authorities.
• Protocols are in place to manage potential COVID-19 cases.
• 24/7 medical service is available.

Destination Protocols

• Enhanced procedures at SJD International Airport include thermal cameras and travel background checks.
• The destination is undergoing certification by the Ministry of Health, covering restaurants, hotels, water sports, and tourist activities.
• Property management will update protocols as needed.

Note: Discounts cannot be combined with other promotions, certificates, or coupons.

Important Notes

• Outside services such as private chefs, catering, grocery shopping, and maid services are not permitted within the Quivira Los Cabos Community. Only services provided by Pueblo Bonito Resorts are allowed.
• Any additional guests added after the initial booking will incur extra fees:
  • $50 USD per night per person if added before arrival
  • $100 USD per night per person if added during or after check-in
• All guests must be registered, and applicable fees paid.
• Villa assignments are confirmed only at check-in due to the multi-unit nature of the property and scheduling of arrivals and departures.
• Early check-in cannot be guaranteed. Villas are ready by 4:00 p.m., but if available earlier, guests will be notified.
• Guests may use clubhouse facilities while waiting and luggage/groceries can be stored until the villa is ready.
• This is a vacation rental experience, distinct from timeshares or hotel bookings through resorts.
• Some amenities included in resort stays may not be available in vacation rentals; our offerings align with industry standards and Airbnb recommendations for essential amenities.
