Villa Hurakán is the largest private villa near Tulum, located within the secure, gated Grand Sirenis Resort. This luxurious property accommodates up to 26 guests and features 10 bedrooms, 3 kitchens, and 4 heated pools—including an indoor pool with waterfalls and swim jets, as well as heated rooftop pools. The villa also offers a yoga terrace surrounded by lush jungle, a gym, a movie room, and more. It provides a high-end, secure base to explore Tulum, Akumal, and Playa del Carmen.

The Space

Spanning over 20,000 square feet (1,900 m²) of interior space, Villa Hurakán ensures privacy and comfort throughout your stay. While longer bookings are preferred, three-night stays may be possible under certain conditions.

This premier villa is ideal for corporate retreats, family reunions, weddings, gatherings, and even reality TV productions. Its expansive open halls create ample room for relaxation and socializing.

Weddings

Villa Hurakán hosts more weddings than any other venue in the region. Ceremonies have taken place on the rooftop, by the main pool, inside the villa, on the beach, and within the surrounding jungle. Search “Villahurakan weddings” online to view photos and videos from past events.

Chef Service

Enjoy a complimentary chef service to enhance your stay. Choose your meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—from the menu or request special dishes. The chef handles all grocery shopping and provides receipts for reimbursement. Service hours are from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM. Guests pay only for groceries; the chef’s service itself is free. Villa Hurakán is situated just north of Tulum, placing you in the heart of the Riviera Maya. The location offers easy access to:

The villa contains 9.5 bedrooms, including a Master Suite/Penthouse, all with locking doors and en-suite bathrooms (three bathrooms have bathtubs). Two ground-floor bedrooms are accessible for guests with mobility challenges. Each room is equipped with large TVs and ample storage. The Penthouse features a private rooftop pool, balcony, kitchen, and living area.

Concierge Services

A dedicated concierge is available to help plan your stay, including arranging shuttle services, massages, boat rentals, tours, and more. Upon arrival, guests receive a brief villa tour. Daily cleaning is included unless otherwise requested.

Each kitchen has an ice maker with pre-prepared ice provided; please use bottled water for refills. Electric bikes are available to explore the resort and nearby jungle, where you might spot monkeys.

Important Information

Villa Hurakán aims to provide a modern and comfortable experience. Large water tanks typically supply one to two days of water. Occasional power or water outages may occur a few times per year but usually last only a few hours.

Nature Awareness

The villa is located within a secure resort but is surrounded by jungle. Guests may encounter wildlife such as birds, monkeys, and lizards. To avoid attracting animals, do not leave food outside. Keep doors and windows closed, especially at dusk, as mosquitoes are common.

Children

Children are welcome; however, none of the pools are fenced, and no lifeguard is on duty. Parents are fully responsible for their children’s safety.

Guest Access

Guests receive an electronic code to enter the villa via keypad.

Additional Notes

• Rates increase by $60 USD per night for each guest beyond 12. Airbnb bookings are limited to 16 guests; for larger groups, please notify the host to arrange additional charges.
• The base rate covers 12 guests; extra guests are charged per night.
• Walk-in parties are not permitted; only registered guests are allowed. Additional guests require prior approval.
• Loud parties are prohibited; only registered guests may remain on the property. Non-guests will be asked to leave.
• The central pool area is private and allows some freedom, but loud music must end by 9:00 PM.
• Video security cameras monitor the front and rear of the property 24/7; no cameras are inside the villa.
• Commercial filming, production videos, and adult content recording are not allowed.

Chef Service Deposit

If you choose to use the chef service, please bring the chef fee and at least $1,000 USD in cash as a food deposit upon arrival. The chef will tally grocery expenses at the end of your stay and deduct costs from the deposit or request additional cash if necessary. A reasonable food budget is approximately $15–40 USD per person per day for all meals.
