Regarding your suggestion that I should have been more responsive, I’d like to clarify a few points. Unlike a hotel, Airbnb is a house rental, and as per standard practice, we provide the initial supply of toilet paper, shampoo, and soap. These items are not replenished once they run out. I would have had no problem helping you; however, your message was sent at 9:30 PM. I go to sleep early, as I wake up at 5:00 AM, and we do not have on-site staff in the building outside of scheduled cleaning times. As soon as I saw your message in the morning, I responded promptly.

Pros: good location near shops and restaurants, spacious, pets are welcome. Cons: the apartment and building could improve the cleanliness.

We appreciated a comfortable house. With view, central, quite, safe parking inside. Tips for customers: we stayed only one night, all the amenities (toilet paper, coffee) were sized precisely for 1 day or one service. Possibly if you need to cook you need to bring your stuff. Gil answers fast and at the point. Good for 1 night!

Very lovely home at a very reasonable price. It has everything you will need on your travels and Bill is responsive and there for you if you have any questions.  Would definitely stay again.

We always enjoy our stay here.  Bill is an excellent host, attentive and responsive.  He offers better value and privacy than a hotel.  The kitchen is well-equipped - there are also abundant restaurants  nearby who offer delivery.   The beds are comfortable.  The building feels safe at all hours.  Clean, comfortable, well-situated near multiple medical facilities and shopping.   We also enjoy a great view from the balcony!  Thank you, Bill, for your help during our last stay with scheduling!

This was a beautiful apartment. I’m glad the weather wasn’t too hot as I was worried about no air conditioning. It’s in a quiet neighborhood that can be interesting to drive to. I think it was the only place in Costa Rica where I stayed that had decent Internet, access to tv apps like Netflix and a warm shower if you are used to those. I would stay there again.

We always enjoy our stays at Gil:s apartments. The view from the balcony is outstanding at night. It is always clean and quiet. The room darkening curtains are very nice for rest and also keeping cooler. Excellent big screen TV and sound bar. Tons of restaurants will deliver if one doesn't feel like cooking. We always feel safe and secure. Gil is extremely responsive and reasonable all the time. We will be back again. Thank you, Gil. .

Beautiful location, and very impressive as you survey the building from the entrance. The security is very intact and controlled by the gate guards. The environment is very peaceful, the cleanness of the building, walkways and corridors stand out, to give an ease to the apartment. The apartment is very comfortable and homey. The most notable was the customer service given by Gil. There wasn’t anything needed that wasn’t handled with urgency and accuracy by Gil. I satisfactorily gave five stars because of his exemplary service.

It is very clear that the apartment has 1 queen size bed in the master bedroom and 2 twin size beds in the second bedroom. Perhaps looking for an apartment with 6 individual beds would have been what you needed, but a 6 bed apartment would cost double if not more... so when 6 people take a place with 3 beds its always a compromise.  Perhaps consider renting 2 apartments next time.  We also have a full size sofa in the living room that could have been used at night as a bed.

The apartment is very nice and the place is very safe. The location is excellent, I definitely recommend this place.

This was a comfortable, pleasant place to spend a few months.  We had a few hiccups, to start but the host was very responsive to the problems and corrected them quickly.  Lots of living space,  comfortable beds, big screen TV w/ soundbar, great large balcony with beautiful curved wrought Iron railing detail and views of the city lights at night.  Lots of pots & pans, utensils in the large kitchen.  Close to the shops, restaurants, hospitals and malls in Escazu.
