It features five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, along with a beautiful pool and an interior courtyard that includes a fish tank. The second floor boasts a 1,200 square foot deck offering spectacular views of Arenal Volcano.
The house is situated just 4.5 kilometers, or a 7-minute drive, from downtown La Fortuna.

When I first arrived in Costa Rica, I fell in love with the area and built this house to reflect the experience I seek when I travel. Every detail—from the super comfortable pillows and beds to the hot showers, hair dryers, tranquil environment, breathtaking views, and refreshing pool—has been designed to make your stay unforgettable.

Guest Access
Guests have access to the entire house.
Additional Information
Concierge services are available to all guests.
The house can accommodate many people, with 16 beds and two living room memory foam sofas, sleeping up to 18 guests. For groups larger than 16, there is an additional charge of $25 per person per day for memory foam floor mattresses, allowing a maximum of 20 guests.
Please note that all houses in Costa Rica operate on septic tank systems. Guests are kindly asked to avoid disposing of non-human waste in the toilets.

Shelly was great with communication, place was just like the photos. plenty of rooms and space for everyone to spread out. 5-10min drive to town for any restaurants.

Shelly was a great host, very responsive, local to area. She was able to help run some errands for groceries, pickup stuff, and provided recommendations for restaurants. The house itself had lot of amenities like outdoor kitchen and seating area for gathering right by the pool. You can watch kids/guests enjoy while enjoying the views and sipping on cocktails. Everything that is needed to cook, eat, etc. was all provided and plenty of it. Two refrigerators to keep groceries, drinks, etc. nice and cool. We really enjoyed the stay and would stay again.

Stunning, simply stunning. We stayed with 3 families and had lots of space to spread out, super comfortable beds, and loved the indoor/outdoor options. Coffee in the upstairs open area was the absolute star of the trip, a nice breeze and a beautiful view of the volcano. I would absolutely stay here again!

Shelly’s Q House is an exceptional place to stay. The property itself is stunning, highlighted by a spectacular upper seating area that overlooks the pool and offers breathtaking views of Arenal Volcano. The house is spacious and thoughtfully designed. Our group of 11 had more than enough room to gather comfortably, while also having plenty of quiet nooks to spread out and relax. One of the standout features is the variety of dining spaces. The substantial outdoor dining area and fully equipped outdoor kitchen made for memorable shared meals in an incredible setting while the indoor spaces were just as amazing. We were initially unsure about the distance into La Fortuna, but that concern disappeared quickly. Ubers were easy to access, consistently arriving within about 10 minutes, and were very affordable. Luca, the concierge, was outstanding. He was quick to respond and attentive to every question. We feel like we found a gem with Q House and would wholeheartedly recommend it!

Shelly was very responsive throughout our stay and quick to communicate whenever we reached out. The home is in a beautiful location and is large enough for a big family to stay comfortably together. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The AC units worked well and kept the rooms cool. We appreciated Shelly’s willingness to address concerns and work toward a fair resolution. She was communicative and clearly cares about her property and her guests’ experience. Overall, this is a spacious home in a lovely setting that works well for larger groups who want to stay together.
