Playa Grande Casitas Studio 5 (Beachfront)

Manfred is a gem! His place is great. I booked a longer stay, but ended up having to leave early for personal reasons. He was extremely nice about it as well as understanding. But the place is just perfect. Manfred was so sweet and responsive. He lives near by, when I needed him, he came over within minutes. Beautiful little area. Very peaceful. Friendly locals and neighbors. Cute places to get food and coffee. Cute little market also. I would def recommend Manfreds casitas.

We had a great stay at Manfred’s Playa Grande Casitas. The area is peaceful and much less crowded than Tamarindo. However, that comes with less food options if you don’t have a car. We didn’t mind because there was a water taxi at the grateful hotel to get to tamarindo. The shaded pool is really nice, however the bathroom could be a little cleaner. We look forward to possibly staying again!

Such an amazing spot and great place to rest and relax. We love staying here in this little oasis. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you Manfred!

Excellent stay! Would highly recommend!

We loved our time in Playa Grande Estates. It’s so peaceful and friendly. The pool was perfect and the beach was stunning and quiet and a walk / and quick water taxi ride away from Tamarindo. The restaurants and little grocery store were perfect in the estate. For more shopping or nightlife a vehicle would be helpful but we were happy to stay put as we had everything we needed and met the nicest people there.

Manfred was a kind and generous host and the accommodation was great. Beautiful landscaping and we loved the pool. We had not stayed in Palm Estates before and would stay again. If, like us, you will be without transport you can hire bikes from the local shop for a reasonable price. Excellent restaurants to eat within walking distance and the most amazing beach within walking distance. We walked to Tamarindo a couple of times which only took c.20 mins using the estuary boat. You can ask the estuary boat to take you back to the Grateful Hotel (for $5) to save you the walk back!

I loved my little personal cabin with kitchen and bathroom, in a beautiful location, friendly neighbors and responsive staff.

A wonderful way to end our trip. We enjoy being near the ocean but away from the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo. Amazing sunsets on the ocean.

I love this place and plan to return. It’s peaceful, I feel safe and the beach is incredible.
