Two bedrooms are situated in the main house, each with a private bathroom and direct access to the garden or pool area. The third bedroom offers additional privacy with its own entrance, a small kitchenette, private bathroom, and a terrace equipped with a hammock—ideal for guests seeking solitude.
Built in a charming Mediterranean style, the villa emphasizes relaxation, thoughtful design, and harmony with nature. While there is no television, the property offers high-speed internet (100MB), board games, books, and plenty of space to disconnect and recharge.

Other Things to Note
The pool and garden caretaker visits four times a week—Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday—around 6:30 a.m. His work is quiet and respectful, lasting about 30 minutes, ensuring the pool and garden remain clean and fresh. He is also happy to assist with small requests or favors.

This cottage is charming, close to many beautiful beaches and delicious restaurants. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking. The pool and garden are delightful.

Lovely place, full of green life. Very private, loved the small pool and back terrace. Squeaky clean. Sebastian was very responsive and attentive to our needs, definitely would come back

Had a great stay with our 3 kids. There is plenty to do around the house. The pool was nice for the hot afternoons. Highly recommend surf lessons at Frijoles Locos. We tried many of the local restaurants and the food was amazing. Really enjoyed getting local fruit from the farmers market on the way into town…we made frequent trips to get mangoes. We had a rental car, but would be able to get around pretty easily without one if you took a shuttle to Playa Grande.

Our stay here was absolutely incredible! The house was beautiful, spotless, and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. We especially loved the outdoor living space and the amazing pool — it truly made the experience feel like a tropical paradise. The location was perfect, within walking distance to both the beach and great restaurants. During our stay we even got to see monkeys and iguanas, which made the whole experience feel even more special and authentic to Costa Rica. Sebastian was an amazing host — friendly, easy to communicate with, and always quick to respond if we needed anything. We truly couldn’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be coming back!

Merveilleux séjour!! Réponse très rapide de la part de Sebastian. Tout était parfait. Il a une chambre indépendante qui rend l’endroit parfait pour loger avec des enfants. Plusieurs inclusions facilitant pour les familles (lit bébé, chaise haute, jouets) Accessoires de cuisine très complet. BBQ sur place. Tout se fait bien à distance de marche. Voisinage très tranquille. Nous avons adoré !!

Sebastian's home in Playa Grande is a gem! As soon as you pass through the gate, you feel as though you've stepped into a hidden oasis. Its Mediterranean meets Centroamericano, with thoughtful decor and beautiful gardens. You can tell the home is cared for and well maintained. The outdoor living space and pool are the perfect spots to relax after a long day. The beach is truly walkable, and there are several great places to eat nearby. My family had a great stay, and we appreciated how easy it was to communicate with Sebastian. Highly recommend.

Sebastian was helpful right out of the gate and any questions or issues we had were answered in minutes. We loved playa grande and his home!! Very secluded and private but right in the middle of town, short walk to the beach. The pool and landscaping were awesome, everything was modern and super efficient. If you like laid back privacy and beautiful beaches with incredible surf/activities coupled with friendly locals this is a phenomenal option! Thank you Sebastian!
