The Space

Nimbu East is an extraordinary luxury estate located in an exclusive beach neighborhood. This lavish and private property is just steps from the beach, ideal for swimming and surfing. It offers exceptional amenities, quality, entertainment, and service.

The estate features resort-grade pools including a main pool, wading pool, and jacuzzi. The high-end kitchen and grill area accommodate dining for up to 14 guests. Expansive lounges and a fully equipped exercise space are also included. There are five en-suite bedrooms plus a detached casita for additional privacy.

Indoor and outdoor living spaces cover approximately 6,400 square feet, surrounded by 4,000 square feet of lush landscaping. Daily staff and concierge services are included.

The design of the property, including the grounds and amenities, creates an intimate yet stunning environment. Entering through the keypad-gated entrance in the quiet Playa Langosta neighborhood reveals a private resort atmosphere. The ground floor and surrounding grounds offer complete privacy with interconnected infinity pools, integrated lounge and exercise areas, outdoor showers, and beautifully landscaped grounds, all within a secure perimeter.

Attention to detail, quality, and design are central to the Nimbu experience. The property features impeccable lighting, advanced audio/visual technology, custom furniture, luxurious linens, and high craftsmanship throughout, resulting in a seamless and upscale environment.

Ascending to the main living level is a unique experience. A gradual teak ramp rises above the sparkling pools, leading to an open yet covered space enveloped in expansive teak from floor to vaulted ceiling. This area serves as the main indoor/outdoor lounge and dining room, connecting the surrounding bedrooms, kitchen, and entertainment spaces.

The second-floor indoor and outdoor living areas overlook the pools and grounds below, creating a fluid connection for social or private activities. Two of the five bedrooms are accessed from the kitchen side, while the main suite and guest/office bedrooms connect across the central deck.

All bedrooms and bathrooms are beautifully designed, comfortable, and fully equipped. The spacious main bedroom suite includes a spa-grade shower and bathroom that must be experienced to be fully appreciated. Bedrooms feature large custom-built furniture, outdoor balconies, luxurious beds and linens, and impressive interior design.

The detached casita, located privately off the pool area, offers a king bed, a second fully equipped kitchen, private dining and living spaces, fiber internet, a flatscreen TV, and a sectional sofa. This casita provides additional privacy and independence for guests.

The main indoor kitchen and living area can be fully opened across a 30-foot span of floor-to-ceiling glass doors. Whether closed for climate control or open to the teak-covered indoor/outdoor dining and lounge space, the kitchen and living area are fully equipped. Guests can enjoy movies and sports on a 75-inch flatscreen connected to surround Sonos sound and fiber internet.

An outdoor covered gas grill with an additional sink, counter, and storage space supports group meals and shared time in this flexible and grand indoor/outdoor environment.

Conceived, designed, and built by OsArq in 2023, "Nimbu" consists of two identical, adjacent homes in Playa Langosta, Tamarindo. Each home can be rented separately or together to create a large retreat.

Guest Access

• Five bedrooms with king beds
• Three of the five bedrooms include additional queen beds in sleep lofts accessed by fixed built-in ladders
• The three lofts have identical setups with luxury-quality linens matching the king beds
• Use of the lofts is subject to prior approval due to the property’s maximum capacity of ten guests and ladder-only access

Nimbu East & Nimbu West

The full Nimbu compound comprises two identical and adjacent homes—Nimbu West and Nimbu East. Each property is fully independent, private, and secure, with its own pools, grounds, bedrooms, lounges, and kitchens. No amenities are shared between the two homes.

For larger groups or special occasions, both properties can be rented together to form a spacious and impressive compound. The homes are separated by a 10-foot-tall wall along their property lines. When combined, this wall can be unlocked and opened by staff, revealing a seamless 30-foot by 30-foot grass lawn connecting the two homes.

Location

Nimbu is located a three-minute walk from the beach, a three-minute drive from Tamarindo, and approximately 40 miles from Liberia International Airport (LIR). The property is situated in the quiet and highly sought-after Playa Langosta neighborhood, adjacent to the 1,100-acre Las Baulas National Marine Park.

A well-stocked neighborhood market, Langosta Supermarket, is just one block away. Tamarindo offers excellent dining options, some within comfortable walking distance, as well as vibrant beachfront dining, renowned surf spots, and lively nightlife.
