Casa Capuchin, Ocean view Home

We had a 5+ star experience at Casa Capuchin! It was as beautiful as all the pictures described! The daily housekeeping and laundry service were wonderful. We saw so much wildlife right from the deck, from squirrel and capuchin monkeys, a sloth, toucans, and a beautiful pair of macaws! Honestly, we could not have asked for more from this home and the host, Alexander! Alexander booked so many things for us, including our transportation, some dinner reservations and excursions, and everything was spot on! The ziplining and cooking class experience he recommended were some of our favorite activities. Thank you so much, Alexander and Casa Capuchin! We had a magical week!

Wow! This place exceeded all expectations! I have stayed in airbnbs across the US and Europe and this was the best. The home itself was gorgeous (kitchen was FULLY stocked), but the service was over the top! Daily cleaning (including laundry) was such a gift. We had a chef one night and it was delicious! Alex was always one message away to help with ANYTHING we needed....he scheduled excursions, arranged transportation, ordered our groceries for us, and answered any questions we had. He was so incredibly kind and helpful! The view, monkeys, and macaws made this place even better! Our family of nine will remember this vacation for a life-time!

Everything was absolutely wonderful with our stay. Alexander was a very attentive host, meeting us upon arrival to show us around the house and providing great restaurant and beach recommendations. The house is exactly as pictured. Very relaxing, plenty of room, comfortable beds. There is a pair of Macaws nesting right outside the house that were so fun to watch. The daily housekeeping and laundry service was a welcome surprise. The only people I would recommend not stay here are those with toddlers only because pool is connected to the living room. Amazing stay… we would definitely stay here again.

We had an incredible stay at Alexander’s place. The home was exactly what we were hoping for—clean, spacious, and beautifully designed with an open-air layout that really lets you experience the surroundings. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay for all six of us. What truly made this place special was the setting. We saw a pair of scarlet macaws right near the pool, and capuchin monkeys regularly came through—it felt like staying in the middle of nature in the best possible way. My (grown) kids absolutely loved it. Alexander was an outstanding host—very responsive and incredibly helpful with recommendations for local tours, activities, and getting around. His insight made the trip smoother and more enjoyable. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Wow! Beautiful property. Exactly as pictured. My family of eight enjoyed the home immensely. Property is a short walk to restaurants and shopping. Home is in an exclusive neighborhood. The most memorable experience of staying at this property was the wildlife. We had white faced monkeys visit daily at the pool and several entered the home as the main level is open to the outside. They were wonderful to watch. There were red/blue macaws visting daily near the pool. Saw and heard the macaws flying daily. Had a milk frog on the kitchen window. The daily maid service was awesome and included daily laundry service. We also had three delicious chef prepared meals in the home. Two Costa Rican breakfasts and one red snapper/steak dinner. The fruit and food was so fresh and delicious. Can't say enough good things about Alex, the host. Alex arranged all our transportation and excursions/tours. He was very responsive and saved the day when the battery in the safe died. Want to stay here again!

Our family loved our stay at Casa Capuchin! The place was centrally located, very clean and we always felt safe. Most important, were the views and all the wildlife. Just sitting in the pool we saw sloths, capuchins, howlers, squirrel monkeys, toucans, macaws and more! We even had squirrel monkeys come right up to us in the living room! Two things to note so people know what to expect. First, the entire first floor (kitchen, dining, living, and pool) is open to the outside. The bedrooms are all enclosed and have good A/C, but the living areas are open to the outside. Second, the bedrooms are a bit spread out. Two upstairs, one below the living floor and one that you access from outside. Our kids (13 and 10) were old enough for this to work, but just want to flag for families with young kids. Overall the stay was fantastic! Alexander was very helpful booking activities and always responsive. We would definitely come back!

We had an amazing stay in Manuel Antonio. Casa capuchin definitely lives up to its name as we had monkey visitors everyday. I could honestly watch them all day. The house was clean and exactly as described. Alex was fantastic from the moment he greeted us upon arrival. He was extremely responsive and helped set up any transportation and requests that we needed. We had a chef come for dinner and the food was delicious. Daily cleaning and laundry was an added plus. I wholeheartedly recommend a stay at casa capuchin and can’t wait to come back!!
