The Space

The property is located within a gated community and is just 20 minutes away from beaches, town, and waterfalls. Please note that a 4x4 vehicle is essential for access.
The master bedroom is spacious and features air conditioning, a California king-size bed, ample closet space, and a desk. It opens onto a fantastic balcony equipped with two hammock swings and a breakfast table for two, perfect for enjoying the stunning ocean views.
Two additional bedrooms are situated on the main level. One contains a queen-size bed, while the other includes bunk beds and a full-size bed. Both rooms offer wraparound views of the jungle and ocean, providing a comfortable and roomy atmosphere.
The living and dining areas are ideal for large family gatherings. The dining table seats six comfortably, with the option to add two more chairs to accommodate up to eight guests. The panoramic views are breathtaking, and during the season, you might even witness whales leaping and splashing in the ocean.

La maison (cabane) est vraiment bien placé, à la lisière de la foret. Le matin de nombreux animaux ce font entendre et voir, Toucan,Aras,Singe, oiseaux de toutes sortes. Comme je l'ai dit à Nancy lors de notre arrivée la maison est incroyable, la vue sur l'océan pacifique! Ils est necessaire d'avoir un 4X4! Merci Nancy!

Cet endroit est un rêve. 🐒 Vous êtes dans la jungle, à entendre les oiseaux et à profitez du plus beau coucher de soleil… en plus de la vue qui est extraordinaire! La maison est très bien équipée, l’espace est propre et bien organisé. La montée est ardue, le 4x4 est obligatoire. N’arrivez pas à la Noirceur!! Mais ça en vaut amplement la peine. Je recommande à 200%. Merci Nancy!

Wir fanden die Unterkunft sehr , sehr schön. Was uns etwas gestört hat, war das wir am Anreisetag gefragt worden sind, ob wir einen "richtigen " 4×4 haben und ob wir unseren zwei Allrad-SUV tauschen könnten. Das hätte uns viel Zeit und Geld zusätzlich gekostet. Hätten wir im Vorfeld gewusst, dass wir ein 4×4 gebraucht hätten, hätten wir eine andere Unterkunft gewählt. Wir kamen mit dem Allrad ohne weiteres in die Unterkunft. uns hat das ganze aber im Vorfeld so beunruhigt, dass wir einen Ausflug abgesagt haben um zu klären ob wir überhaupt die Unterkunft mit unserem Auto erreichen konnten. Außerdem hatten die Bettlaken und Sitzkissen zum Teil Stockflecken. Das ist aber wahrscheinlich nicht vermeidbar, wenn das Haus im Dschungel ist. Wir waren im großen und ganzen sehr zufrieden. Nancy war auch immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das einzige, was uns wirklich gestört hat, war die Situation mit dem Auto.

I cannot rate Nancy and her beautiful home highly enough. The house is open to nature with breathtaking views from both decks. Full working kitchen and a big master bedroom. The house is surrounded by the jungle with full view of the ocean. You hear howler monkeys, see the toucans and humming birds every day. You absolutely need a 4x4. It’s worth the drive to get the view and peace and quiet. Nancy is super responsive and happy to help. She gave me multiple recommendations for fun things to do in Costa Rica. Any help or questions I had about the house she was always there to help. Amazing stay!!

Nancy’s house was amazing. It was up a steep mountain and was quite a fun adventure coming and going. We heard and saw monkeys. It was like Swiss Family Robinson. I would highly recommend her place.

La casa de nancy es un lugar con muchísima paz, aislado por completo de todo, se disfruta mucho el silencio, el sonido de la naturaleza y una impresionante vista. Es muy muy importante tener en cuenta la recomendación de Nancy sobre el auto 4x4, de lo contrario el camino es inviable. Personas que se molesten con los bichos voladores no es el lugar para ellos, si para quienes aman la naturaleza y adentrarse en ella.

Nous avons fait un voyage familiale donc avions besoin de tranquillité. Nous voulions également être proches de la nature et nous avons été servis. Il faut bien comprendre que la villa de Nancy se trouve dans la jungle, très haut dans la montagne donc il ne faut pas s’attendre à être à distance à pied des commodités. De notre côté c’était précisément ce que nous recherchions. Nancy est très réactive à nos messages et très rapide à nous répondre. Ses instructions pour se rendre à la villa ont été très claires, ce qui nous a permis de nous rendre sans aucun problème. La beauté de la vue est indescriptible, nous avons tous eu une grande émotion à notre arrivée tellement c’est beau. Si vous n’aimez pas les « bestioles » je vous déconseille puisque vous devez savoir que vous vivrez littéralement avec la nature, l’humidité et tout ce qui vient avec. Pour nous ce ne fut pas un problème au contraire mais vous devez savoir. En gros je recommande à tous ceux qui veulent vivre une expérience !!

Die Lage oben im Dschungel mit der Nähe zu Tukanen und Affen haben wir sehr genossen, der Blick ist traumhaft schön. Geschmälert wurde dieser Genuss durch die wirklich krasse 30-minütige Anfahrt durch Matsch und tiefe Schlaglöcher (plus weitere 10 Min. bis Uvita). Wir hatten in Costa Rica nur Unterkünfte, bei denen 4x4 nötig war, aber dieser Weg war eine andere Nummer, platter Reifen inklusive. Die Waschmaschine ging nicht, wurde während unseres Aufenthalts repariert, und ging dann wieder kaputt. Das obere Schlafzimmer mit der weitläufigen Terrasse ist wirklich schön, die beiden Schlafräume unten, vor allem der hintere, sind dagegen sehr klein und einfach, von Fliegengitter eingefasste Außenräume unter einem Blechdach. Für uns hat das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht wirklich gestimmt.

Nancy’s home was a dream. I honestly can’t wait to go back. The cacophony of birds and wildlife in the morning was epic. We saw monkeys, iridescent blue butterflies, coatis, iguanas and gorgeous birds. The beaches were close by and stunning. Nancy was extremely kind and helpful. I highly recommend this home. Please do make sure you have the 4x4.
