Overview
Inspired by Balinese living, Casa Alang Alang spans approximately 15,000 square feet and offers eight bedrooms, accommodating up to 19 guests comfortably. The villa combines privacy with spacious communal areas, creating a unique and stylish retreat.
Situated on a private, secluded hillside at the entrance of Tamarindo, the property boasts stunning views of the Tamarindo estuary and the Pacific Ocean extending north to Playa Grande. Despite its tranquil setting, the beach and town center are just a five-minute walk away.
The Space
The living area features a large ironwood dining table alongside a cozy lounge space, both designed to maximize the breathtaking ocean views.
Casa Alang Alang includes two swimming pools:
- A 21-meter overflowing lap pool on the lower level, ending in a Bale with double lounge chairs
- A main-floor pool that overflows on all four sides, creating the effect of a giant mirror reflecting the ocean
Services and Amenities
To ensure a memorable stay, the villa provides the following services:
- Complimentary concierge service to arrange private chefs, massage therapists, and other personalized requests
- Daily housekeeping and laundry services
- Pool and garden maintenance to keep outdoor areas pristine
- Grocery pre-stocking available for an additional fee
- MistAway system using a botanical, all-natural insecticide to protect against mosquitoes and other pests, allowing comfortable outdoor enjoyment
- Purified water system supplying premium still and sparkling water, eliminating the need for plastic bottles
- Beach equipment including chairs, umbrellas, and some surfboards available upon request
- Ping pong table located in the kids’ bedroom
- Sonos music system throughout the villa
- Air conditioning and ceiling fans in all bedrooms
- BBQ grill
- Security alarm system and night guard

- Malia Bedroom: King-size bed, full ensuite bathroom, and desk
- Dean Bedroom: Two twin beds, full ensuite bathroom, walk-in closet, and desk
- Lower Level:
- Three guest bedrooms each with king-size beds, full ensuite bathrooms, and desks
- Snow White's Bedroom: Five single beds, large desk, smart TV, and ping pong table
- Separate Apartment: Private entry, king-size bed, full ensuite bathroom, kitchenette, table, and small sitting area

This place is absolutely the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed at! The pictures don’t do it justice. It is conveniently located right outside of downtown Tamarindo and the beach. The views are out of this world! I can seriously go on and on about it!

We had 15 in our party and stayed a week ending with a wedding!!!!!!! The place, the people, everything was amazing. We have stayed in a lot of places all over the world and everyone agreed best trip BY FAR!!!!

We absolutely loved staying at Casa Alang Alang. It was the perfect place to celebrate our milestone birthdays with a large group of friends. The communication was also top notch. They were fantastic in helping us arrange airport transfers, chefs, golf cart rentals, and any excursions. No question was too small!

One of the best villas in Tamarindo by far. The view is indescribable. We were several families with young kids and although there are some precarious drops so you can’t let little ones wander, we had a fantastic time. Delicious breakfast, great service and very accommodating host. We will 100% be back!

I can’t say enough about how amazing and incredible the place was! Karina was so helpful throughout. Katherine was so responsive at ALL times! Even when some small things needed attention Katherine would address them immediately! One of the best experiences that I’ve had and it made everyone in the house so comfortable. The team served the best breakfast and chef Fabien served us the best seafood! Thank you to the entire team and I would 100% recommend this place and entire experience to anyone!

The house was absolutely gorgeous. Karina was a great host and was always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. But most of all every detail was thought of from the most wonderful breakfast to all the amenities you could imagine. It was just perfect

Alang Alang was amazing! Once you enter the beautiful front door, you head up some stairs to pure paradise. Words cannot describe the views from every angle of this very well manicured property. The ocean views from the infinity pools, yes plural, there are two of them and equally amazing. The staff prepared a great breakfast for us daily, well worth the price and was there to keep the property immaculate throughout our stay. Everyone we encountered on the property was extremely helpful. We enjoyed zip lining, ATV riding, Fishing, but our favorite part of each day was coming back to paradise. This property did not disappoint and we look forward to making this location a regular trip for our group. We have 13 total and there was plenty of rooms and space for everyone, even while dining! The owners of this property sure outdid themselves as it was the best travel experience and location we have ever encountered! 10/10 and 10 Stars * We can't wait to come back!

Casa Alang alang was absolutely wonderful! From the time we booked and through out our entire stay Katherine and team were very helpful and very responsive! They organized the best boat days and massages at the house! The breakfasts and chefs were pure luxury! The house was exactly as pictured and was stunning! We lived our stay and would highly recommend it!
