We stayed here as a family for 4 days, and we absolutely loved this place! The house was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The pool was amazing and became one of our favorite parts of the stay. The location is perfect just a short walk to the beach, surrounded by stunning and unique nature. It was peaceful and truly unforgettable. The maintenance team was outstanding. They always responded to our messages quickly and immediately took care of anything we needed, making our stay completely stress-free. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again. We 100% recommend this Airbnb!

This house is amazing! It’s a little past Puerto Vallejo, and a little on the secluded side, but that’s exactly what we wanted the place around. It was like a nature park and we saw all the great animals all within walking distance. The house itself is fantastic. It matches the photos. It slept five of us very comfortably all the beds and everything where fantastic and even has a great master bathroom. The air-conditioning worked really well as it was very humid during our stay, the host is very responsive. We lost power one day due to a big windstorm and he was in constant communication during that time. The whole area was in a blackout. I definitely recommend anybody wants an upscale vacation home at the right price in a fantastic area. It even is attached to a five star hotel, which was also very helpful.

My stay was just great. The house is beautiful, very well cared for and as shown in the photos. Everything was spotless, tidy, and with an attention to detail that really makes a difference. The location is very good and the atmosphere is quiet, ideal for resting. Communication with the host was smooth at all times, always attentive and willing to help. Without a doubt, it was a very satisfying experience, and I would stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommended!

Mi estancia fue simplemente excelente. La casa es hermosa, muy bien cuidada y tal como se muestra en las fotos. Todo estaba impecable, ordenado y con una atención al detalle que realmente marca la diferencia. La ubicación es muy buena y el ambiente es tranquilo, ideal para descansar. We loved staying at Casa Arena! The house was even more elegant in person than in the pictures, and we loved having a path right to the beach! The staff at the near by hotel were extremely attentive and helped with anything and everything we needed. The only thing that was not working during our stay was the light inside the pool, which did not bother us much! I would gladly come to stay again here.

The house is magnificent, just like in the photos. The pool is always clean and very nice. The beach is only a few minutes walk. A truly little paradise! The hotel and the owner were very attentive and quick to respond to our requests, which greatly contributed to making our trip an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back. 😊

La casa es magnífica, tal como en las fotos. La piscina siempre está limpia y muy agradable. La playa está a solo unos minutos caminando. ¡Un verdadero pequeño paraíso! El hotel y el propietario fueron muy atentos y rápidos en responder a nuestras solicitudes, lo que contribuyó enormemente a que nuestro viaje fuera una experiencia inolvidable. We loved our stay at Casa Arena. The location is peaceful, quiet, and near the beach. Lovely neighborhood, proximity to the hotel makes it convenient. We liked being out of the hustle and bustle, close enough to drive in for activities, groceries, restaurants. The wildlife is amazing, you’re completely immersed in the jungle. House has a great layout for our family, pool was easily accessible, beds were super comfy and nice showers, bathrooms. Open and spacious living space. Everything was thought of. The lovely hotel next door went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, welcome and replied immediately to all of our wants and needs. The staff there is truly exceptional. We felt this was a home away from home. Daniel, the homeowner was extremely responsive, accommodating, and helpful whenever we needed anything or had any questions,  he responded almost immediately. We are already planning our return, we truly had the best experience.

Beautiful house, spacious and very comfortable

The house is very nice, well located and very close to the sea. The neighborhood is quiet, which makes the stay pleasant and relaxing. During our 5-day stay we had some problems. The pool was green for the first 2 days; later they managed to fix it, but we couldn't enjoy it from the start. On the fourth day there was a strong smell of sewage inside the house, which we reported, however, as there were no maintenance personnel available, no one was able to attend to the situation. Also, there was a leak in one of the rooms. Although the ceiling is PVC and the water did not leak, the constant noise at night was annoying and affected the rest. Overall, the house is not bad and has a lot of potential, but considering the price, we expected everything to be in impeccable condition. For this reason, we do not think we would return.

La casa es muy linda, bien ubicada y muy cerca del mar. El vecindario es tranquilo, lo cual hace la estadía agradable y relajante. Durante nuestra estancia de 5 días tuvimos algunos inconvenientes. La piscina estuvo verde durante los primeros 2 días; posteriormente lograron resolverlo, pero no pudimos disfrutarla desde el inicio. El cuarto día se presentó un fuerte olor a cloaca dentro de la casa, el cual reportamos, sin embargo, al no haber personal de mantenimiento disponible, nadie pudo atender la situación. Además, en uno de los cuartos había una gotera. Aunque el cielo raso es de PVC y el agua no pasaba, el ruido constante durante la noche fue molesto y afectó el descanso. En general, la casa no está mal y tiene mucho potencial, pero considerando el precio, esperábamos que todo estuviera en condiciones impecables. Por esta razón, no creemos que volveríamos.

We have stayed in Puerto Viejo a few times now and we enjoyed this airbnb location the best! With a short walk, we were at the best beach in the area. A short drive and we were at Manzanillo which is beautiful. There were several nice restaurants close by. We liked being out of the main part of Puerto Viejo, but still close by to enjoy the shops, restaurants and scenery. There are also two very good grocery stores very close by. The house is managed by the hotel that is close by and the hotel stay are wonderful and always there  to assist. The house had plenty of space for us and we enjoyed the modern style.

This was an amazing home and location. Very clean with comfortable beds. Five stars!

It is a beautiful house, nice bedrooms and private bathrooms. The listing is somewhat misleading, it is not brand new and the size of the house in the photo. There were some minor defects and the kitchen is minimally equipped (compared to what we have seen elsewhere in Panama and Costa Rica and for this price). We had a fly infestation in the house, this was adequately resolved. Finally, we would have liked to know that construction was taking place behind the house. This caused a lot of inconvenience. All in all, a good stay, only the house deserves a little more attention.

Het is een mooi huis, fijne slaapkamers en eigen badkamers. De advertentie is enigszins misleidend, het is niet gloednieuw en de heft van het huis op de foto. Er waren wat kleine gebreken en de keuken is minimaal uitgerust (vergeleken met wat we verder in Panama en Costa Rica hebben gezien en voor deze prijs). We hadden een vliegenplaag in huis, deze werd adequaat opgelost. Tot slot hadden we graag geweten dat er construction plaatsvond achter het huis. Dit gaf veel overlast. Al met al een goed verblijf, alleen het huis verdient wat meer aandacht.

Fabulous and extremely clean house (absolutely no negative points). The jungle around and the beach nearby are fantastic. We saw monkeys, toucans from the garden.

Maison fabuleuse et extrêmement propre (absolument aucun point négatif) La jungle autour et la plage à proximité sont fantastiques. Nous avons vu des Singes, toucans depuis le jardin.

We had a great time and the place met all of our needs.  Close proximity to the beach/private, cleaning and maintenance was very responsive, and had access to boutique hotel restaurant.  The owner was very responsive but will need to address some maintenance items.  Overall we would stay here again.

From the time the reservation was made, Daniel was very attentive and responded almost instantly whenever we needed him. The site managers were also incredibly friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more comfortable. The location is perfect: just a few steps from the beach and with many other beautiful beaches very close by. Another big plus for me was being able to charge my electric car at the hotel right next to the Airbnb, which was very convenient.

Desde que se hizo la reserva, Daniel fue muy atento y respondió casi al instante cada vez que lo necesitábamos. Los administradores del lugar también fueron increíblemente amables y serviciales, lo cual hizo nuestra estancia aún más cómoda. La ubicación es perfecta: a solo unos pasos de la playa y con muchas otras playas hermosas muy cerca. Otro gran plus para mí fue poder cargar mi carro eléctrico en el hotel justo al lado del Airbnb, lo cual fue muy conveniente.

The place was amazing, we enjoyed being walking distance to the beach! The hotel across the path manages the property and we were glad to have them! They deliver food, wine, beverages whatever right to the house! The land was beautiful with a toucan nest right there in front of the pool! Very private very luxurious place highly recommend!

Our family enjoyed our stay in Punta Uvo. The beaches near the house were quiet and clean. Our family enjoyed having the pool. Overall great stay.

Walk to a private beach. We watched a sloth from the pool, and great spots to eat and drink a bike ride away.

This place was beautifully set in a forested area,  literally a 5 min walk to the beach.  The house was impeccable, very nicely decorated, We will definitely be back. Daniel was a great host with multiple recommendations.

Daniel's place was lovely.   Modern design, spacious, clean, roomy.  It was close to the beach (we actually saw some bioluminessence at night which was very exciting). Daniel was extremely quick responses and very accomodating.  Sounds of monkeys and toucans all around us.  It was completely magical.  We would stay there again and highly recommend.

The house is conveniently located, close to the sea and with the necessary privacy, we loved it and we'll be back 🙂

Our stay was beautiful, a country with little intervention yet, untouched and with dreamy beaches. Daniel was always attentive and the hotel staff were charming, with an excellent willingness to help with everything, very friendly and kind. Spacious, nice and cozy house, better than the photos. The house is very nice, comfortable and modern. There were 4 of us and we felt right at home. The setting and location are unbeatable, in the middle of a forest and a few meters from a pristine beach paradise. If you want to be a little away from the towns in the area and in the middle of a rugged and comfortable place, this is the place! One small detail to improve is that when we entered the house some basic kitchen supplies were missing, such as a washing sponge, detergent and a cloth to dry, but they quickly solved it with the maintenance people who are in a boutique hotel located around the corner. We bought absolutely all the cooking supplies, except for the water in a hot/cold dispenser. The house is well-equipped. We definitely recommend it!

La casa muy linda, cómoda y moderna. Eramos 4 y nos sentimos como en casa. El entorno y ubicación inmejorables, en medio de un bosque y a pocos metros de una playa virgen paradisíaca. Si querés estar un poco alejado de los pueblos de la zona y en medio de un lugar agreste y confortable, éste es el lugar! Un solo detalle a mejorar es que cuando ingresamos a la casa faltaban algunos insumos básicos de la cocina, como esponja de lavar, detergente y algún paño para secar, pero lo solucionaron rápidamente con la gente de mantenimiento que están en un hotel boutique ubicado a la vuelta. Los insumos para cocinar los compramos absolutamente todos nosotros, excepto el agua que hay en un dispenser frío/calor. La casa esta bien equipada. Sin dudas lo recomendamos!

Excellent stay at Puerto Viejo with a great location and a beautiful home.

The house is beautiful and very confortable! It’s 200 meters from the Ocean and 150 meters from a very nice hotel, which has a very good restaurant. Daniel, our host, was amazing! We’ll definitely come back!

Fantastic home and location, really enjoyed our time at the house. Kids loved the pool, and we all enjoyed the great eating areas. Will be back to that part of CR for sure!

The House is very nice, complete and new, it was very easy to get to with a good location. We had an inconvenience with the hot water but the attempt was made to fix it in a good way and the guys from the hotel are very friendly and you can order food from the hotel, which is very good.

A beautiful place in paradise. All the amenities you need in a modern and comfortable environment surrounded by nature and the constant sounds of birds, monkeys and frogs. The support services provided by the Hotel Exotico make it very convenient. We will definitely return.

The place is too incredible the photos don't do it justice, but what really makes this place stand out among the others is to have a host like Daniel who was very communicative at all times and also the guys at the hotel the treatment and service they provide surprised us a lot! But the best thing is the service that the exotic hotel guys give you ( in front of the house) they respond right away and solve everythingooo, literally, from a glass of milk at night to arm the BBQ grill, provide some special utensil or explain how the house works, really, everything you asked or asked them to solve it in the Moment with the best wave, of the best of airbnb I've ever stayed. 10 Points in the house and 10 in the response of the exotic hotel guys who make Hosts with capital letters ! Casa arena es increíble , nueva, amplia, cómoda, luminosa, tranquila, bien equipada, un 10 en todo! Pero lo mejor es el servicio que te dan los chicos del hotel exótico ( frente a la casa) ellos te responden enseguida y te solucionan todoooo, literalmente, desde un vaso de leche en la noche hasta armar el Barbecue, proveer algún utensilio especial o explicar funcionamiento de la casa, de verdad, todo lo que le pedías o preguntabas te lo solucionaban en el Momento con la mejor onda, de lo mejor de airbnb que me he quedado. 10 Puntos en la casa y 10 en la respuesta de los chicos del hotel exótico que hacen de Anfitriones con mayúsculas !
