Wir haben als 5köpfige Familie im Casa de los Monos 5 schöne Tage genossen & sind richtig angekommen im Beach-life von Costa Rica! Wir haben im voraus die Rezessionen der Unterkunft gelesen & Sarahs Angaben genau geprüft. Wir haben uns über die toll ausgerüstete Küche gefreut & die Klimaanlage hat uns kühle Auszeiten im Haus ermöglicht. Die Kinder haben es genossen wieder einmal mit anderen Spielsachen zu spielen. Wir durften die Waschmaschine (Costa Rica Style) benutzen und haben den praktischen Wäscheständer geschätzt. Wir waren zum Glück die einzigen die den Innenhof genutzt haben & genossen dort unsere Malzeiten. Die ganze Familie hat gut & erholsam geschlafen. Die Nähe zum Beach, den vielen Restaurants & zu allem was man in Samara braucht in Fussdistanz haben wir am Casa de los Monos sehr geschätzt! Sarah war aus der Schweiz sehr präsent, hilfsbereit & hat uns einen tollen Ausflug organisiert.

This was our first really bad Airbnb experience - we tried to make the best of it but did not find this Airbnb to match the pictures - there is personal belongings and storage everywhere - the bedroom window in the casa is not even real - it just goes to a storage area. The lack of AC in bedrooms, difficulty with nowhere to sit, clutter, and loud and unsafe feeling street made for a difficult visit. We rented the casa de los monos and my parents rented the casita - they did not feel the lock was sufficient and left immediately. We ended up moving elsewhere also after trying to make it work. There was just nowhere to be and it is really hot midday. We were all wishing for more comfort, and less noise. Being close to the beach was nice, but you don't want to spend all day on Samara beach, especially at low tide.

Sarah was very kind and responsive, even though she was out of the country. The casita is just a block from the beach, which was very convenient, and also right in town, so it's easy to walk everywhere. The kitchen was nice. We did struggle to find a way to relax at the unit. There is no living room, no seats or couches or hammocks. The only place to relax is on the beds. Even the kitchen table is extremely small, and the chairs are such that you can't actually scoot yourself in. It is also the only workspace/surface in the unit. It would have been nice to have somewhere to chill in the AC during the heat of the day (which gets quite toasty!). (And note that the AC is only in the kitchen, and barely makes its way in to the bedrooms.)

Just a quick walk to a beautiful beach, restaurants, farmers market and shopping. If you are planning on sticking to Samara you don’t need a car from this location. The beach is perfect for little kids to get acclimated to the ocean

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Sarahs und Memos Haus sehr genossen. Das Haus liegt 2 Gehminuten vom wunderbaren Strand entfernt, Restaurants und Einkaufmöglichkeiten liegen auch sehr nah, ohne dass sie die Ruhe stören. Hin und wieder laufen Affen über das Dach oder schlafen in den umliegenden Bäumen. Die Kinder haben sich besonders über die vielen Spielsachen gefreut. Die Unterkunft ist aber auch sonst sehr gut ausgestattet. Sarah und Memo waren extrem freundlich, haben uns viele Tipps gegeben und uns bei einer Autopanne und verschiedenen Aktivitäten weitergeholfen. Wir können die Casa de Monos nur wärmstens empfehlen und falls wir wieder mal nach Samara kommen, buchen wir auf jeden Fall bei ihnen. :-)

It was a great place to stay. All the amenities you needed. A quick 5 minute walk to the beach. We had a wonderful time!!

Perfect location!! At the beach in one minute walk and everywhere else very quick and easy yet felt like a secluded, quiet little retreat. Host was lovely and accommodating.

The house is exactly as pictured with working fans and air conditioning which was super helpful during the hot days. The location is what really stands out, you are steps away from the beach and a surf school that can provide days of enjoyment. Sarah was so helpful during our stay. I would highly recommend staying here!
