Please inquire. *STAYING COOL: The homes have both CENTRAL A/C and Ceiling Fans in every room. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Our guests use the A/C mostly in the evening when breezes die off. During the day, the homes' are naturally ventilated with gentle hilltop breezes. In addition, the home's large stairwelll design creates an efficient chimney effect that pulls hot air out of the house. It can even get a bit cool at night. To encourage our guests to conserve energy, a comfortable AVERAGE DAYLY ELECTRICITY ALLOWANCE OF 60KW PER HOME is included in our rates (=180KW/day for all 3 homes). Any EXCESS USAGE will be charged at checkout at the rate of $.90/KW. Please Note: Most guests do not exceed this allotment as the homes do stay naturally cooler most of the day. (visit us online ) Guest access LOCATION: The homes are on a 400 Acre Ranch in Esterillos Este on the CENTRAL PACIFIC COAST OF COSTA RICA—- 80 Miles/1.5Hr from SJO Airport and 5 min drive to nearest beach. They are located right between the touristy towns of JACO & QUEPOS/MANUEL ANTONIO. Guests enjoy easy access to all the fun activities the area offers. CONVENIENCE: There is a GROCERY STORE & SEVERAL RESTAURANTS just half -a-mile down at the ranch entrance…. and many more in Jaco, about 15 Miles North -- Pronounced “HHACO”:) ACCESS: Guests have access to each of the three entire homes and the gardens and pools around them. (each has its own Kitchen, Living/Dining and laundry room). There is a fourth kitchen separate from the homes which is reserved for the professional Chef Catering Services. The garages are reserved for Owners. PARKING: There is plenty of parking is on the private driveways and street on the North side. Please, read our HOUSE RULES below in "Other Details" More info online at PuraVidaCasas. Other things to note H O U S E R U L E S : Please read P R I O R To Booking. 1. NO SMOKING INSIDE THE HOUSE. Guests may smoke outside, as long as the smoke/smell does not come into the house. Please dispose of cigarette butts in ashtrays. Illegal drugs (including Marijuana!) are not allowed on the property. Violation of this rule may result in a $300 fee. 2.QUIET HOURS: 10pm-6am. Please show respect to neighbors if any. No loud music/noises outside home and/or in terraces and ranchos are allowed during quiet hours. If we receive a complaint, you may, lose your security deposit. EVENTS ON THE EVENT DECK ARE EXEMPT as there are no neighbors on that side. 3.AVERAGE DAILY ELECTRICITY ALLOWANCE : Guests are encouraged to conserve energy. A reasonable AVERAGE DAYLY ELECTRICITY ALLOWANCE OF 180 KW/DAY for all three homes in included in our rental rate (60 KW/Day/Home). EXCESS USAGE will be charged at check out at the rate of $.90 USD/KW-- due and payable at checkout. 4. PETS: Pets must be approved P R I O R to booking. Only well behaved, house trained and non-threatening pets may be permitted. Guests are responsible for any damage to property or persons caused by their pets. The property is NOT fenced up, so guests must be able to maintain their pet and must bring a harness/lead. A $100/pet fee is collected at check in. Maximum 3 pets per all 3 homes). 5. SAFETY DISCLAIMER: By booking with us, you acknowledge that you do so AT YOUR OWN RISK and that you accept full responsibility for any incident arising out of your occupancy of the entire premises, including the pool. You also acknowledge that you do not and will not hold the owners, nor any of their agents, responsible for any incidents even when resulting in loss, damage or even death and regardless of cause, including negligence. IF TRAVELING WITH YOUNG CHILDREN, please note that, as in most Costa Rican homes, pools are NOT fenced up. 6. USAGE: No acts of prostitution, legal or illegal, are allowed anywhere on the properties. No adult nudity is allowed outside the homes. Breach of this rule will result in immediate eviction and loss of entire security deposit. 7. WEEKENDS & SHORT STAYS (2-3 Nights): Bookings for short stays can only be approved WITHIN 30 DAYS prior to arrival. 8.ACCESSIBILITY: Rooms are spacious and doorways are large, but some may homes may not be wheelchair accessible. Please inquire prior to booking. 9. EVENTS: Events are ALLOWED WITH A P P R O V A L & P R I O R TO BOOKING and may result in additional charges. Please contact host for EVENT RULES.
