Location

The apartments are situated on the second floor of buildings without elevators. The condominium itself is not beachfront; however, the Beach Club is conveniently located approximately 2 kilometers (6 minutes by car) away.

Important Notes

• The apartments are on the second floor; there is no elevator in the buildings.
• A refundable cash deposit of $2,000 per apartment ($4,000 total) is required. This amount is lower than the typical $5,000 deposit requested elsewhere in Mayan Lakes and is fully refunded if no damage or fines occur.
• Access to the Beach Club requires wristbands, which are managed by Vidanta and collected at Grand Mayan.
• Wristband fees:
  • Seniors over 12 years: $500 each, including a $250 food and beverage credit
  • Children 6 to 12 years: $250 each, including a $125 food and beverage credit
  • Children 5 years and under: free
• The Beach Club operates from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with food and beverage service from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Outside food and drinks are not allowed at the Beach Club.
• Reservations include up to 8 wristbands; additional wristbands can be purchased for $250 plus VAT each.
• Wristband fees are separate from the condominium fees and are paid through the host.
• Maximum occupancy for both apartments combined is 14 people plus 2 infants under 2 years old. Children over 2 count as adults for occupancy limits.
• Exceeding the allowed number of guests will result in denied access to the condominium. Visitors that cause the maximum occupancy to be exceeded are not permitted.
• Rooms with a single bed were originally service quarters adapted for guest use.
• Normal wear and tear may cause some stains on furniture, bedding, and walls. Professional cleaning and maintenance are regularly performed to maintain quality.
• A thorough cleaning is completed before each guest’s arrival to ensure comfort and cleanliness.
• A travel crib is available for $199 plus VAT for the entire stay, subject to availability.
• Pools may occasionally close without notice for maintenance, typically due to heavy rain or unforeseen events; this is rare.
• Washer and dryer facilities are available for stays longer than five nights upon request.
• Basic kitchen staples such as coffee, sugar, salt, oil, and bottled water are not provided to reduce waste and environmental impact.
