The Space
Casa Alegre is a spacious and modern home situated atop a hill in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. From this elevated position, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the bay. In the mornings, a cool breeze sweeps over the pool and yard area, creating a serene atmosphere as you savor your favorite morning drink. The peaceful surroundings are enhanced by the sight of various bird species flying over the bay. While relaxing by the pool, you can also admire the impressive 82-foot Statue of Christ nearby.
Guest Access
Guests are welcome to explore both the interior and exterior of the house freely. We encourage everyone to have a wonderful time enjoying their stay at Casa Alegre.
Please note that the lowest yard area is designated for laundry and storage. Guests are advised to be accompanied by the caretaker if they need to access this part of the property.
Location
The home is conveniently located within walking distance of a local store just outside the neighborhood. It is a safe and secure area.
The beach is only a 5 to 7-minute walk away. Additionally, several other beaches are accessible by car, offering options for either more privacy or a livelier atmosphere depending on your preference. Nearby spots are also available for surfing or quieter experiences. Alex can provide personalized recommendations to help you make the most of your visit. Tuve una excelente experiencia en Casa Alegre. La casa es hermosa, cómoda, limpia y cuenta con todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable. Desde mi llegada me sentí bienvenida y muy bien atendida. Disfruté mucho mi estancia y me llevé muy buenos recuerdos. Sin duda recomendaría Casa Alegre a cualquiera que visite la zona y volvería a hospedarme aquí en el futuro.

I booked this bnb to stay with my daughter and two friends. One of my friends is a local and helped pick the place. A few things to note before you consider renting this space. The house is a little more than 2 hours from the airport so you will need reliable transportation. The area of the home is currently under development so it is not easy to find, however bc of the response from the owner we were able to meet with a man named Alex who was more than helpful in bringing us to the property. Additionally although the space is big and beautiful a few things need to be updated for the price. Shower faucet and sink faucets are a little rusty and do not spray water evenly. Furniture and appliances could use a bit of an upgrade as well. But honestly i am very happy over all and i would stay again.

We love the location of the property, amenities of the property and surrounding areas. Hopping we can get back there soon, the view from the pool is stunning. I highly recommend Rudy's place.

Una increíble experiencia, una casa muy bella, solo que quizás la piscina es algo pequeña, pero fuera de eso, una casa muy hermosa y cómoda, muy bien equipada y a excelente precio!! Recomiendada!!

Rudy is always so helpful and accommodating. This our second time staying at Casa Allegre and loved it just as much as the first. Beautiful property with the best view of the bay. Very peaceful at night but close enough to town. The caretaker onsite, Alex, is incredibly friendly and helpful with anything you need. Will definitely stay there again!
