Casa Texoma: Private Waterfront Villa in Akumal

Excelente todo! La casa hermosa, tal como se muestra en las fotos, muy espaciosa y todas las habitaciones con terraza y vista al mar, la piscina siempre limpia; Don Eugenio y doña Lety que son personal de limpieza muy amables ,siempre al pendiente de nosotros, nos encantó y definitivamente regresaremos pronto!!!! Definitivamente una excelente elección de alojamiento en Akumal!!!

We stayed here with our 6 adult children (a couple of them brought their spouses) for a total of 10 people. There was plenty of room for all of us and the number of bathrooms was perfect. The home was exactly as pictured and more. It was very clean and had no smells or clutter. Roger the manager was fantastic at letting us know the area. The house staff was PHENOMENAL and ALWAYS had our rooms made for the day (Sat is their day of rest) as well as having beach towels and cleaned for us every day. For a family of 10 it was no easy feat! Since the couple live in a small home in the front of the estate, they are very easy to find if you have any questions. We decided to hire our chef from a place we hired from 5 years ago. “Chef Antonio” from Tulum has a great business and we were able to get the same chef as we did back then, his name is Jorge and he brought an assistant named Pedro this time. EVERY breakfast and dinner was AMAZING and 5-Star quality with fully decorated spreads.

Beautiful house, peaceful location. Perfect spot for a getaway with kids — plenty of space to hang outside during nap times and lots of short outings nearby. Lety and Chencho were fantastic and helped us settle in right away.

Beautiful and spacious house right on the beach. Rocky but it didn’t bother us. Loved the kayaks and private pool. If you go in May, prepare for seaweed season. There’s not much beach to walk down, so don’t expect to walk down a sandy coastline. However, our family loved the house! It is in between Playa and Tulum, so you will need to rent a vehicle if you plan to go anywhere (which we did so we were good with the distance). Again, we had a wonderful time! Hosts and housekeeping were great to work with! Very attentive! Thank you!

Breathtaking from the first moment you walk through the door! The house is absolutely beautiful and very spacious. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything from pots and pans for cooking to measuring cups and Tupperware. The caretakers were so kind, helpful and attentive! Roger- the local host was full of wonderful recommendations for restaurants and attractions! We felt safe with our kids and we cannot wait to visit again!

Beautiful villa literally on the beach where you wake up and jump into the sea. The staff was super friendly and cooked amazing meals, house was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, convenient location close to Tulum and Playa del Carmen. Our family had an amazing time and would love to return to the villa. Communication with hosts and staff was expedient and flawless, highly recommended!

We legitimately had the best trip ever! The house is absolutely gorgeous, and we spent the most time in the pool vs. the ocean (the ocean's a bit rocky, but the property provides water shoes for you). The caretakers, Leti and Chenco, are the BEST. Leti made us fresh squeezed orange, watermelon, and pineapple juice, as well as some of the most amazing meals we've ever had. Her tacos were to die for. They went to the grocery store for us and Chenco's incredibly handy around the property for anything that might come up. The host Roger was incredibly responsive and stopped by a few times to check in. Truly made the group vacation so easy and relaxing. We're already planning another trip back!

The house was just as advertised. Beautiful location with private patio and amazing views! The host and crew made our stay outstanding. Chencho and Leti’s Mexican hospitality and service are unmatched. Great place for a large family or group with 5 spacious bedrooms. Easy to find and felt very safe. We’re definitely going back!
