Waterfront 3BR home on Roatan’s scenic bluff with panoramic ocean views, private dock, tropical gardens, and easy access to West End and West Bay Beach. An island paradise.
The Space
The Pink Orchid is a beautiful waterfront home perched atop a scenic bluff, offering panoramic views in every direction. It overlooks the crystal-clear protected waters of the longest coral reef in the northern hemisphere. From the private deck, you can enjoy breathtaking vistas of island wildlife, tropical vegetation, and stunning sunsets over the ocean.
This residence features three bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom, making it an ideal choice for a large family or for three to four couples sharing the cost.
Inside, the home showcases traditional Caribbean hardwood and tiled floors, vaulted ceilings, and floor-to-ceiling windows that invite abundant natural light and island breezes. Whether you prefer floating on a water mattress in calm waters, snorkeling off the dock to explore vibrant sea life, relaxing in waist-deep sandy waters, lounging in the hammock with a good book, or sunbathing on deck lounges extending over tranquil waters, this home offers a perfect island experience.
The average annual temperature on Roatan is 85°F (29°C), allowing you to enjoy shorts day and night. Roatan is renowned for its diving and snorkeling opportunities, boasting hundreds of dive sites along 37 miles of coral reef on the island’s north coast.
Location
The Pink Orchid is situated midway between the town of West End and West Bay Beach, one of the world’s ten most beautiful beaches.
West End is a charming village reminiscent of a Caribbean town from decades past, offering an authentic island atmosphere similar to Margaritaville. West Bay Beach is the island’s most pristine beach, surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and featuring open-air restaurants that reflect local culture.
Guests can enjoy the best of both worlds: West Bay’s upscale beach lifestyle with endless white sand, clear blue waters, beachfront dining and bars, gift shops, and a variety of water sports; or West End’s unique Caribbean vibe where you can buy fresh produce from trucks, rent mopeds, arrange scuba diving adventures at numerous dive shops, browse local markets, or enjoy a cold Salva Vida, the local Honduran beer.
The private dock provides a convenient 3-minute water taxi ride to either destination, or a 15-minute walk along the beach. There is no need to drive.

Staying at the Pink Orchid was a great experience. I was there with my wife, two young sons and in-laws and it was the perfect amount of space for the 6 of us to relax. Very nice interior decor that really fits the beach ambiance. There is a small beach and dock just a few steps down from the patio that we almost always had all to ourselves. You can snorkel right off the dock or kayak out to the main reef and have a private snorkeling adventure. Also you can easily walk along the beach in either direction to to West Bay or West end. The hosts were excellent as well, they sent a big packet of info on the house and things to do. All in all we had an absolutely wonderful time.

Great location between West Bay and West End. The patio was our favorite spot for breakfast and coffee or mid day naps. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. The shared dock is great for relaxing away from the crowds. If I come back, I would stay again.

We had a fantastic stay at The Pink Orchid in Roatan! The house was spotless, and communication about the rental, amenities, and local attractions was excellent. Al was always in touch before our visit, making sure we had all the details we needed. The location is perfect—both West Bay and West End are easily walkable from the beach. The dock is a great spot for a swim, and there’s even a bit of snorkeling just north of it. We highly recommend this rental for anyone visiting the area!

Our group of 6 had a fantastic time. We loved both the home and the location. Al was great at communicating. Highlights for us were Manawakie Eco Nature Park, Roatan Brewing Company, Snorkeling in front of Kimpton, Café de Palo for breakfast, two for one drinks at Bananarama after 3p, Lobster Pot for dinner, walking the beach, great sunsets. We’ve been to a number of places in the Caribbean and we enjoyed Roatan more than the others. Everyone, locals and seasonal "locals", were all super friendly. The Pink Orchid is located at the far northeast end of West Bay, probably the quietest part of West Bay-West End. It's close enough you can get to everything on that end of the island without a car. However if you want to see the rest of the island get a car and explore.

This is a wonderful house in a fantastic location in Roatan. We really enjoyed the time on this property. The location is right on a very clean beach and everything is well kept. Juan Carlos, who is taking care of the property brought us fresh coconuts every day and has taken great care of us. Even with two short power stops the house is still functioning do to the solar/battery system Al has installed. It made our time very relaxing. Thank you again Pamela and Alfred. We will come back. Best regards Uli/Corinna/Keanu

The home was probably one of the cleanest airbnbs I have used ever. I mean not a speck of sand to be found in a rented beach home! Incredibly clean. Home appeared just as pictured and described. The owners provided plenty of helpful information well ahead of our stay and were very responsive and communicative during our stay as well. The location is peaceful and walkable, you could spend all day lounging on the dock. Water taxis pick up and drop off right there as well. There are a couple homes who share the dock, we had no issues with this, but I can see how it could get a little busy. There was a nice small sandy beach space with chairs provided in that event. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioners were very efficient and cooled off rooms quickly. The home also felt pretty well insulated, we didn’t hear the family renting the home just behind us the entire stay! Kitchen was well appointed. Can’t wait to stay here again! Don’t hesitate to rent here!

We can't say enough about our stay at the Pink Orchid! We have traveled to many places around the world & this has been our favorite place! The sunsets that can be seen from the house & deck are indescribable! The water from the dock looks like the blue lagoon! We literally felt like we were in pirates of the carribean! We highly recommend staying here. The hosts are so accommodating & helpful. They will put you completely at ease. Our whole family slept like babies on the comfy beds. It is located between West Bay & West end so conveniently close to many amazing establishments! We cannot wait to go back again! Tiffany & John

We traveled with another couple for the first time to Roatan. From our booking and during the week before our trip, Al provided so much helpful information from activity suggestions to customs/immigration reminders to contacts of the local caretakers of the home. We were welcomed with an airport pick up included in our booking and used that driver the rest of our trip. Pink Orchid was beyond what we could have dreamt of. The house is beautifully decorated, well furnished and provisioned. It sits on a hill overlooking the ocean for incredible sunset views. There are about 3 flights of stairs to the beach and long dock with a cabana. Our best days were spent under the cabana during breaks from the amazing snorkeling just off the dock. We used kayaks provided to go about a half mile to the reef visible from Pink Orchid and tied up to the same bouy as a paid snorkeling tour. We walked to a couple restaurants and easily flagged water taxis to go to West End. Would absolutely stay again!

Thank you Pamela & Al for letting us stay at your place, we had a great time at the property despite the weather. Only issue was with the power outrage but we received support instantly and an electrician came in and sorted it out in no time. Overall experience was 10/10 and we will definitely be coming back again! Best wishes and happy new year. Johan & Family.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Pink Orchid. Just like everyone else has said…communication was outstanding and I got quick responses for the few questions I had before arriving. The house was a perfect distance from West Bay. We loved walking to the Boat House and Luna Muna. The walk to West End was a little longer, but totally doable and we found some great (casual) restaurants there too. The only recommendation I have is to bring some snorkel equipment if you really want to take the kayaks out to snorkel on the reef (highly recommend). There wasn’t quite as much of a supply as I expected and we ended up renting a boat with equipment for a few hours. Overall, exactly like the description said and our time in Roatán was great!
