The Space
The Lodge is situated on the lakefront of the majestic Arenal Lake, surrounded by a tropical garden and rich biodiversity on the southern edge of the Arenal peninsula. Just steps from the lake, guests can enjoy captivating views of deep blue waters and the nearby mountain range, along with stunning sunsets over the lake.
Our property features the Tinajas Arenal restaurant, located lakeside with a pleasant terrace and an organic garden. The lodge is equipped with fiber optic internet for your convenience.
Designed as a peaceful retreat immersed in nature, the space offers incredible views of the lake, volcanoes, mountains, and breathtaking sunsets. Positioned right on the lake shore of a small peninsula accessible to guests, it is a Costa Rican family project that includes an organic restaurant with spectacular vistas.

This place is a good base if you're out exploring the area the whole time and only using it to sleep, I would not say it's somewhere to post up and spend a lot of time. I can see what they're trying to do with the space, from a practical perspective it's an excellent location, the views were spectacular, lots of birds to see from just the balcony, they have a restaurant right next door (food/drinks were good too!) but the space itself is just not very well laid out for 2 people and it felt a little run down. The second "bedroom" is the main living area, there's more beds than seating and you enter/exit through a bedroom. For the price, the amenities could benefit from a little updating. A little nicer coffee machine/fridge freezer/TV. The Internet was fast. It's a working location, so we were woken up early by things like chainsaws and dogs barking. The whole building is very unforgiving with sound. Other guests would slam doors etc and could easily be heard.

Waking up to such a beautiful view of the lake was definitely the highlight of this place. I really enjoyed our stay. Cindy and the staff were very friendly and honestly have nothing negative to say about this place. Cindy was an amazing host making sure that we were pleased with our stay. The host made sure our check-in was easy, and the view of the lake was remarkable! The rooms were clean and welll kept. If youre interested in fishing there is a boat that can pick you up at the water, minutes away from the rental (ask the host about this!). The restaurant on the property was the best food we had eaten our whole trip so be sure to check that out too!
