Nestled in the tranquil setting of Los Sueños II, the property is just a six-minute walk from downtown and a 12-minute stroll to the beach. Along the way, you'll find a variety of shops, grocery stores, restaurants, and bars catering to diverse tastes and budgets.

Note: For rentals of four weeks or longer, electricity is included up to a certain limit. See the "Other Things to Note" section for details.

The Space

This bright and tastefully decorated condo combines the natural beauty of Costa Rican wood with modern furnishings and local décor. Each bedroom features a beautifully renovated private ensuite bathroom with custom vanities and smooth-glide glass doors. Complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided, so you don’t need to bring your own.

Both bedrooms offer comfortable pillow-top mattresses and pillows with protectors for your comfort and peace of mind. Each room is equipped with a personal air conditioning unit, ensuring a restful environment after a day at the beach or pool.

The master bedroom includes:

• A king-sized bed crafted from native wood
• Ample closet space
• A Juliet balcony where you might hear howler monkeys serenading you

The second bedroom contains:

• A large custom armoire for storage
• Touch-activated reading lamps

Wi-Fi extenders are installed in both bedrooms to guarantee strong internet coverage throughout the unit.

In the living room, relax on a custom L-shaped sofa ideal for reading, browsing the internet, watching TV, or spending time with friends and family.

The renovated kitchen features handcrafted wooden cabinets and is fully stocked with all necessary cookware and appliances for your stay. For outdoor cooking, a new propane BBQ is available on the small back porch for your convenience.

The breakfast bar serves as a great spot to catch up on emails or work while traveling—though it’s encouraged to enjoy your vacation as much as possible.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the front porch, surrounded by lush tropical landscaping and seated in locally made Adirondack chairs. Coffee is supplied for your enjoyment.

When heading to the pool or beach, you’ll find beach towels provided, along with beach loungers, an umbrella, a cooler, and a wagon to transport everything. Please remember to shake out beach items before bringing them back inside.

An outdoor shower is available on the premises to rinse off sand after your time in the water. Additionally, a powder room on the main floor offers convenience for quick trips from the pool.

Guest Access

During your stay at Los Sueños II, you will have full access to the townhouse and shared amenities, including a centrally located refreshing pool.

Parking options include spaces adjacent to the property available on a first-come, first-served basis, as well as free street parking.

The complex is secured by a locked gate, and you will receive a key upon arrival. For after-hours arrivals, lockbox details will be provided. A $25 fee applies for lost keys.

The unit uses a unique access code that changes with each guest; this code will be shared prior to your arrival.

Guests are welcome to use all items in the unit, including condiments, oils, and spices. If you have any unopened food left at checkout, please leave it for the cleaner instead of discarding it.

Access to the owner’s locked storage within the unit is not permitted.

The pool and common areas are open from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Please be considerate of neighbors and keep noise levels low if outside after 10:00 p.m.

Other Things to Note

• The unit is located on the second floor and is accessible only by stairs. The interior is a single-level layout.
• Quiet hours from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. must be respected to maintain a peaceful environment.
• Due to local septic systems, toilet paper must not be flushed; please dispose of it in the trash bins provided.
• For stays of four weeks or longer, electricity is included up to 800 kWh (approximately US$190). Any usage beyond this will be charged to guests. This allowance supports reasonable use of air conditioning and the dryer.
• Guanacaste Province experiences droughts from December through April, often resulting in water conservation measures such as rolling shutoffs. The property has a backup water tank, but guests are encouraged to conserve water by turning off faucets when not in use, reusing towels, avoiding unnecessary laundry, and reporting leaks promptly.
• Power and internet outages may occasionally occur; your patience is appreciated as services are restored.

Insects and Wildlife

As a tropical location, occasional encounters with insects are normal:

• Small numbers of ants may appear indoors. If you notice a significant presence, please inform us so we can provide ant traps. Ants outdoors play an important ecological role and should be left undisturbed.
• Cockroaches may occasionally be seen indoors, especially after nearby construction or pest control treatments. These are not the same as North American cockroaches, do not live in groups, and their presence does not indicate an infestation. Cockroach spray is available on the property, or you may remove them as you see fit.
• Please avoid leaving food or garbage outside, as local wildlife such as raccoons and skunks are known to rummage through trash.
