Casa Familia is ideal for family vacations, ladies' retreats, guys' getaways, or couples seeking relaxation. Located just a three-minute walk from the heart of Roatan’s stunning West Bay Beach, this home offers the perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. You’ll be close to restaurants, bars, dive shops, and other amenities, yet enjoy your own peaceful sanctuary.
The property features a pool with a sun shelf and palapa, creating a serene oasis for guests. Cable TV and high-speed WiFi are included. A 4-bedroom option is also available (see Airbnb listing).
Special Offer
A construction discount of 25% is available from August 2nd to December 14th, 2025. During this period, a guest house is being built at the front of the property with builders on site from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. There will be no construction noise affecting Casa Familia itself, only occasional building sounds nearby.
The Space
Casa Familia’s main house includes:
- 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms
- 5 beds total (3 queen beds and a set of bunk beds)
- Spacious open-concept living and dining area with vaulted ceilings
- Large wrap-around screened deck (approximately 1,000 square feet) with outdoor furniture, hammocks, and a grill
- Direct access from the deck to the pool area
- Fully equipped kitchen with an island, full refrigerator, and stove
- WiFi mesh system (125 Mbps) installed in 2023
- Monitored alarm system
All bedrooms are generously sized and furnished with quality linens. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen were recently renovated in December 2024.
The screened deck is perfect for avoiding flying insects at night. Beach chairs and towels are provided—some foldable at the house and larger ones near the public beach access.
Amenities and Discounts
Guests at Casa Familia receive special discounts at Gula Restaurant (next to Henry Morgan), which offers excellent Italian cuisine and a fine wine selection at reasonable prices. Reservations can be arranged through the property manager to take advantage of these discounts. Discounts are also available for their daily beach club pass.
Nearby, guests can enjoy complimentary beach chairs at Beachers Restaurant with a food or drink purchase. A small charge applies on Tuesdays through Thursdays during cruise ship days.
A golf cart is available on-site for $10 per day or $50 per week. It is restricted to use within the local community and not permitted on the main road. Availability should be confirmed at booking, with payment made at the property. The golf cart is not included in the rental, and no replacement is guaranteed if it becomes unavailable. Guests are responsible for any damage while using the cart.
As of March 24, 2024, the pool is exclusively for Casa Familia guests.

Guest Access

The location worked out well - away from the bustle of beach yet close enough to walk or use provided golf cart. Having the security guard at beach made it nice to leave belongings without worry. The pool was a wonderful respite after the beach. The personnel on site were very gracious and responsive to our needs. Of what we saw of Roatan, I would say West Bay beach and the area is the best location to stay. The beach is beautiful with snorkeling within easy swimming distance. The quality of the reef was a nice surprise which we thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you for sharing your home!

We had a wonderful stay at this house in Roatán. The home is beautiful, airy, and very comfortable both inside and out. The kitchen is fully equipped and gorgeous, the internet was fast and reliable, and there were plenty of towels and extra bedding. We visited during the rainy season and spent lots of time on the wraparound, fully screened porch. The couches and hammock made it an incredibly comfortable space to relax. After several days of heavy rain, the road to the beach became muddy, but it didn’t bother us much, and Renee kindly offered the use of a golf cart. The beach nearby is beautiful and has many great restaurants and bars, making it easy to enjoy both relaxation and nightlife. The house is surrounded by banana plants and lush jungle trees, and we were lucky enough to see macaws flying around and sitting in the trees in front of the house. We absolutely recommend this place and would happily return.

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay here. Great spot for easily accessing West Bay beach, but having our own quiet home to get away from the crowds when we wanted. The house had plenty of space and was SUPER clean with cool A/C. The host was very friendly and gave us local recommendations. The pool and pool deck were really nice for hanging out when we wanted a break from the beach. Getting to the beach from the house was quick and easy to walk or drive. Our favorite part of the beach was walking all the way past Infinity Bay and snorkeling over the coral right from the beach.

West Bay is very beautiful. The house was nice (we did not have the casita or apartment they were rented to others - this was not an issue at all). The house is nice in having 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. I recommend getting the golf cart as road down to the beach is very rutted and bumpy (coming into the property is very steep and on a blind entrance) so we used the cart as we didn't want to twist an ankle. The beach is nice, however, be prepared there are small boats (looking to be hired) in the water all along the beach. Also, you are constantly bombarded by people selling their wares. Access to the reef area is right out in the water.... saw lots of beautiful fish. The owner was very helpful and responsive. I felt the property manager (we never met her only her spouse) was very rushed in showing us the property and how to access everything, etc when we checked in. The housekeeper was elusive at best. There was never an opportunity to request she cook for us.

About 30-40 min away from the airport and down a steep hill, you will find this beautiful house. It is also located about 10 min walk away from the beach. We rented the golf cart they had available for us, which made it a quick 3-4 min ride to the beach. We used it every day! The host met us at the house and was very friendly throughout the stay. The house is beautifully renovated and very sturdy. We unfortunately got hit by the tropical storm Sara, but you could barely hear the rain from the inside. The host was very flexible with our stay as our flights got cancelled for 2 days. There is a cleaning lady who also could have cooked for us, but we didn't use the cooking service. The beach it self is beautiful and I saw a starfish in the ocean. We did not rent a car, and in hind sight, probably should have. Also, don't forget your mosquito repellent! They are crazy here.

Casa Familia was everything we were hoping for. Pretty easy to sum it all up: Quiet! Clean! Plenty of room for six adults and our two grandsons. We used West Bay Divers for over fifty dives (total) and the pool at the house was welcomed by all when we got back to the house. Comfortable beds and all furnishings. We stayed for 1 1/2 weeks and enjoyed every minute.
