Nestled on the edge of Carara National Park and just 25 minutes from the beaches, Casa Cielo offers a tranquil retreat surrounded by jungle and waterfalls. Situated 1,200 feet above the Central Pacific Coast, this location provides stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and the Tarcoles River. Guests often spot Scarlet Macaws and Toucans flying nearby. Casa Cielo blends luxurious comfort with a deep connection to nature while maintaining modern conveniences such as high-speed internet. It is ideal for group stays.

The Space

Casa Cielo combines natural beauty with upscale amenities. The home features Carara quartz countertops and an infinity-edge pool bordered by a spacious Coralina (petrified coral) deck. There are three master bedrooms with king-size beds, showers with Canadian black slate walls, fresh deep well water, high-speed internet (40 Mbps), and air conditioning throughout.

Bedrooms

• Master Bedroom #1
  Offers breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and Carara National Park. It has private access to the pool deck through sliding glass doors, a master bathroom with double showerheads, and a walk-in closet.

• Master Bedroom #2
  Includes its own bathroom and faces the house entrance.

• Master Bedroom #3
  Has independent access to the pool deck and shares a bathroom with common areas. It also includes an extra twin-size bed.

• Bedroom #4 (located on the lower floor)
  Accessible via an outdoor staircase next to the lanai, this room provides privacy and quiet. It contains a queen-size bed, a twin bed, and a private bathroom.

Living Areas and Kitchen

The kitchen is fully equipped for meal preparation and includes an automatic dishwasher. The dining and living rooms are spacious and offer views of the pool and surrounding scenery.

• Parking for up to 3 vehicles
• Housekeeping services available for an additional fee

Location and Activities

Casa Cielo is a peaceful getaway perfect for relaxing and socializing. To maintain the serene environment, loud music, parties, or gatherings exceeding the allowed number of guests are prohibited out of respect for neighbors.

The area offers a variety of exciting experiences, such as:

• Waterfall excursions
• Private chef services and massages

The hosts are happy to assist with arranging activities, reservations, or bookings to help create your ideal vacation.

Guest Access and Transportation

A rental vehicle is recommended for your stay. Although the road to the property is paved, a 4x4 vehicle is suggested to safely navigate steep mountain roads and explore unpaved areas.

• The community speed limit is 10 mph due to steep and winding roads.
• Casa Cielo is located 68.5 km (approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes) from Juan Santamaria Airport.

Shuttle service can be arranged:

• $130 per trip for up to 5 passengers
• $10 for each additional guest
• The shuttle can pick you up from the airport and provide stops for groceries or sightseeing.

Please note there are no Uber or Lyft services nearby, so transportation should be arranged in advance.

Additional Information

• The pool is serviced every Wednesday morning.
• Check-in is at 3:00 pm; check-out is at 11:00 am. Early check-in or late check-out is not available.
• Occasionally, power outages or interruptions to internet and cable TV may occur due to factors beyond control. These events are rare and do not qualify for refunds.
