The cabin is spacious and comfortable, located on one acre of green land with mountain views. It sits on the edge of a hill, allowing for a constant breeze and high ceilings that enhance the airy atmosphere. Each room is equipped with air conditioning and comfortable beds.
The fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops and has everything needed to prepare energizing breakfasts or delicious dinners. After meals or during downtime, guests can gather in the cozy living room or head to the playroom, which includes a ping pong table, billiard table, and ample open space for games and activities.
Location
The cabin is completely private and just 15 minutes from downtown. It offers direct access to the river via an easy hiking trail from the property. The pool is located next to the river and rainforest, providing a serene spot to swim and unwind. Note that the pool is a short walk from the house.

This 6 bedroom home was perfect for our family group of 11. Although the kitchen was a little rustic, we enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, as well as all the amenities. The host, Danny, checked in with us throughout our stay. When we had a problem with the air conditioner, someone came immediately to fix it. We all had an amazing week in La Fortuna

Very beautiful home. There was more than plenty room for 9 adults. Felt safe and secure. There is a gate to enter the property. I would definitely recommend this home.

Loved staying at this place!! We did have trouble finding it and it ended up taking us an extra hour to find. Once we found it, it was amazing!

I really wanted to like this villa, but it was deeply disappointing from start to finish. The property has multiple serious issues. Road noise is LOUD with vehicles speed by waking us early. The house is very run down and nothing like the bright/airy listing photos. The kitchen is barely usable: fridge handle broke off, stove faceplate fell off, appliances are worn, and nearly every cabinet is disintegrating. The house has a musty smell. Outside doors are finicky. The driveway is so overgrown it feels like Jurassic Park. Beds are uncomfortable and paper-thin walls/floors mean loft movement wakes the lower bedroom. No notice was given about construction at 6-7am on the community property, and the river view disappeared mid-stay as a result. The swinging chair in the first photo is gone. The handyman never showed for repairs and the host ignored my messages about this as well as questions about the construction. The host is nice so I feel bad about leaving a negative review. Not good.

Nous avons passé un très bon moment à la villa. Le décor avec une vue plongeante sur la forêt est magnifique 😍! Nous étions 2 familles et l’espace était parfait. Nous avons bien profité des installations. Par contre, la localisation est un peu éloignée de La Fortuna. Si on souhaite y faire des activités, il faut s’attendre à faire de la route… Aussi, la maison possède peu d’équipements pour la cuisine et pour maximiser les sorties. Nous avons eu des enjeux de fourmis, mais j’imagine que ça doit être courant dans cette région! Nous avons apprécié notre séjour ici et nous y retournerions sans hésiter. Merci 🙏

place was awesome. we were a family of 11 with 6 adults, 3 kids and 1 infant. overall the place was awesome. town is small and quiet but close enough to la fortuna (18 min drive). pool area was awesome. hot tub was actually hot and relaxing. awesome views. compound had play grounds, common pool as well as has firepit by the river. would HIGHLY recommend for families with kids.

Great stay! The house is very clean, well-organized, and equipped with everything you need to feel at home. The backyard is a beautiful oasis—waking up to birds and flowers every morning was lovely. The property is older but well-kept. The two back bedrooms had a slight musty odor, but it wasn't a dealbreaker. The highlight was definitely the beautifully maintained pool and spa. Highly recommend!

This place was absolutely excellent. One of the prettiest Airbnbs I’ve stayed at. Great views and amenities and close to necessities. Also, one straight road into La Fortuna. Friendly locals and beautiful amenities. Be sure to read the instructions about the showers and you’ll get plenty of hot water (temp based on pressure). Absolutely perfect and nothing negative to say! Danny was great and checked in daily to be sure we had what we needed.

We stayed here on a family trip. it was myself, husband and my brother (50's) and my son and his gf (24). It was perfect. My son/gf and my brother took the two bottom floor rooms and loved waking up and going to the pool swing to read and listen to nature. the property is beautiful, we saw a sloth and toucans and many birds. The town center of Chachagua is charming. It was perfect!
