We have the CORCOVADO NATIONAL PARK just 35 minutes by boat and 50 minutes to CAÑO ISLAN. You can also walk along the coast, and beaches enjoying of beautiful trails appreciating nature and animals. Wow!!! Be warned, this is a real GEM. The accommodation has an EXCEPTIONAL view of the bay, 4 perfectly clean bedrooms with bathrooms in excellent condition. The kitchen is particularly well equipped for an Airbnb. The hosts are so helpful with everything. Very nice. Laundry service. Beds made and tidying done every day (!!!). Very quiet, a slice of heaven.

Our party of eight (two families of four) stayed here for 5 nights and we all agreed that it was an absolutely fantastic experience. This house is one of a few on one larger property hosted by a local family who live on the property as well. The house was spotless (with daily housekeeping available) and comfortable, the layout was perfect for a large group like ours to be all together and the main outdoor living area has an absolutely gorgeous view, perfect for watching wildlife and beautiful sunsets. The hosts, though, were the part that made this stay so special. They were both very helpful and incredibly kind. They helped us arrange tours and activities, provided recommendations for activities and made us feel so at home, welcomed and really cared about the quality of our visit to the area. And the optional breakfast available was delicious! We all highly recommend staying here!

The four of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The spacious open air deck and dining area was perfect for viewing wildlife in the lovely tropical garden surrounding the house. The air conditioners in the bedrooms worked really well and were much appreciated on warm nights. There was daily housekeeping, which we were not expecting, and always plenty of drinking water. The host was so friendly and accomodating! We left something on the boat from Corcovado and she was able to track it down for us. We would love to return someday!

We had an amazing stay! Communication was great even before we arrived. we got help booking tours to Corcovado Nationalpark and Snorkeling (and the tour operators they recommended were also great) and even everything went well. The place is very clean and gets cleaned every day. The view from the terrace is wonderful with lots of birds including toucans and aras flying by. The location is also very central. It’s only a short steep hill but everything very close. We can definitely recommend staying here :)

One of the most magical places I have ever stayed.  The view of Drake's bay is stunning and the home is surrounded by flowers, lush greenery and tropical birds.   Its a short (2 to 3 minutes) walk down the hill to the main beach and several restaurants including an excellent Italian restaurant.     Its another 5 minute walk to the main part of town with stores and more restuarants.  Note that is a short but steep walk back up the hill.   The hosts picked us up at the boat and drove us and our luggage uphill and then drove us at the end of our stay.  Hosts were incredibly responsive and hlepful includnig providing a 5:20 am (!!!) breakfast the morning we went to Corcovado.  And the surroundings are magical - view, flowers, birds,  and jungle. I'm already plotting to go back.

The property of the kind-hearted couple Yami and Pedro is beautifully located, high above the Playa Drake on the edge of the Corcovado Nature Reserve. The access to the house was a bit adventurous for us, a four-wheel drive vehicle is a great advantage. For this you will be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the sea and nature. The great refuge, already a bit older, offers everything to feel comfortable. On the large terrace you can linger and relax wonderfully. Gretel, the contact person, can be reached at any time, organizes tours and proactively solves every problem in no time. For us, the absolute highlight was breakfast on the open terrace. We were able to observe iguanas, toucans, macaws and other birds up close here during the meal :-) Yami, Pedro and their team are looking after their guests in a touching way. We can't wait to see you next time!

Das Anwesen von dem herzensguten Paar Yami und Pedro ist wunderschön gelegen, hoch über der Playa Drake am Rande des Naturschutzgebiets Corcovado. Die Anfahrt zum Haus war für uns etwas abenteuerlich, ein Allradfahrzeug ist von großem Vorteil. Dafür wird man mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht auf Meer und Natur belohnt. Das tolle Refugium, schon etwas älter, bietet alles um sich wohl zu fühlen. Auf der grossen Terasse kann man wunderbar verweilen und entspannen. Gretel, die Ansprechpartnerin ist jederzeit zu erreichen, organisiert Touren und löst proaktiv jedes Problem im nu. Für uns war das absolute Highlight, das Frühstück auf der offenen Terrasse. Wir konnten hier während dem Essen Leguane, Tukane, Aras und andere Vögel aus nächster Nähe beobachten :-) Yami, Pedro und ihr Team kümmern sich rührend um ihre Gäste. Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste mal.

A truly spectacular house in one of the world’s most gorgeous locations. The host was communicative, kind, and even laid out some delicious fresh fruit up upon our arrival I could not recommend this place enough for your stay in Drake Bay.

The house has a beautiful view of Drake Bay. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. It's on top of a hill, you have to climb quite a bit, but the view is worth it.

Fantastic place for our group. The house is beautiful and we spent many hours watching the birds with the view of the bay behind. The hosts are amazing! They went above and beyond to make our boat reservations, meet us at the boat, drive us down the steep rugged hill to get groceries, help us with laundry, and so much more. We had a wonderful stay and I hope to be back again some day.

The home sits at the top of the south end of Bahia Drake. The home has immaculate views of the bay and was very comfortable and clean. Hosts were very responsive and helpful throughout the stay. Probably one of the cooler locations I have ever stayed. A friend in our group lost his credit card, and the locals had found it and texted throughout town to try and find him to give it back. Would stay here again in an heart beat. It it’s so beautiful and peaceful. MUY tranquillo

This home has an amazing view of Drake Bay. Great for watching the birds. There is a large outdoor area with a table and enough to sit and admire the view. The kitchen is well equipped, adjoining the outdoor space. Bedding is average. The family who runs this small hotel is really very nice, the breakfast with the view is at the top. The real drawback is that you have to climb a lot of stairs to get there, but that's the price of the nice view!

Ce logement dispose d’une vue incroyable sur la baie de Drake. Top pour admirer les oiseaux. Il y a un grand espace extérieur avec une table et de quoi s’asseoir et admirer la vue. La cuisine est bien équipée, attenante à l’espace extérieur. La literie est moyenne. La famille qui tient ce petit hôtel est vraiment très sympa, le petit-déj’ avec la vue est au top. Le vrai seul inconvénient, c’est qu’il faut monter pas mal d’escaliers pour y arriver, mais c’est le prix de la jolie vue !

We very much enjoyed our stay at Casa Horizonte! Pedro and family were wonderful and the house was perfect for us. We loved the outdoor space. Lots of room in the house for my family of four and my mother. Easy walk to beach and restaurants. Glorious ocean views. We hope to return!

We were two families - four adults and three kids and we found the place perfect. The bathrooms were well-maintained, the A/C units worked great and the patio was a great place to hang out in the evenings and early mornings. Pedro was there to meet us at the beach and Glory was great at being there when needed and giving us space and privacy otherwise. Highly recommend!

After a track of several tens of kilometers we discover this village at the end of the world teeming with an adorable local population mixed with many casual tourists; Pedro's house all of varnished wood and set on a promontory in the center offers a resting place facing the sea with breathtaking views Pedro and his family are very welcoming and available but remain very discreet Nature is ubiquitous and we see toucans and parrots every morning passing by the terrace Thank you all

Après une piste de plusieurs dizaines de kilomètres nous découvrons ce village du bout du monde grouillant d une population locale adorable mélangée à beaucoup de touristes décontractés; la maison de Pedro toute de bois verni et posée sur un promontoire en plein centre offre un lieu de repos face a la mer avec une vue imprenable Pedro et sa famille sont très accueillants et disponibles mais restent très discrets La nature est omniprésente et nous voyons chaque matin toucans et perroquets passer devant la terrasse Merci à vous tous

Pedro, Yami and Karin were wonderful hosts, responsive. The house is spacious and the deck/ covered porch is the highlight. The view of the bay and gardens is wonderful. So many birds, monkeys and other wildlife to watch. Breakfast was delicious, would definitely recommend. The walk up the hill is not slippery and has a hand rail, with the humidity we did sweat alot. The town is close and walkable. We look forward to returning.

Pedro's place has an amazing view and is close to town. Plenty of space for 5 and Pedro was super helpful in getting us to/from the boat and also helping with local activities. The hill is quite steep so we were glad to have food in the fridge after a full day of hiking as it prevented us from wanting to walk town for dinner. The restaurants are very close by and we had breakfast every day on the property. There is a also a small market in town that takes card. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was it didn't have A/C and it was tough to sleep even with the the fans. Everything else was great and the hosts were very helpful. I'd highly recommend both the hiking in Serena and snorkeling around Cano Island.

Just stayed here with 7 friends. Finding the house was a bit rough, but we made it. ADVICE: take the main road down through town as you would to get to playa colorada. Goog sent us up and around the town of drake and we had to back track. Karen was a fantastic host and made a killer breakfast.

Pedro's place was beautiful and well laid out. Private spaces and a large and open gathering space with a great view. We enjoyed the place very much. Thank you Pedro and Karin!

Wow. Yami's and Pedro's home has perhaps the most beautiful view on the planet. Our stay was unique, full of birds and monkeys and long rainy walks along the coast. Karen the caretaker took great care of the home and of my family, making for us a delicious breakfast in an incredible setting and advising us on the best local activities and restaurants. We enjoyed the comfortable beds and cooking in the spacious kitchen, but mostly we loved sitting on the deck watching the bay and its wildlife. Tips for others: take plenty of cash to avoid the high local taxes, take the early morning ferry from Sierpe to avoid thunderstorms (thankfully our luggage stayed dry!), and take a long hike on the Sendero Drake to Rio Claro. There is no a/c so use the fans (and rain and ocean) to stay cool.

Pedro’s place was exceptional.   Great views.  Pedro and his wife were very helpful. Would highly recommend.

It is fantastic place to stay in Drake Bay. The view from the terrace is magnificent. The house is great just 5 minutes from the beach (I timed it :)). Pedro and Yami are very helpful with recommendations and booking local activities. The housekeeping absolutely impeccable, I was staying in very upscale hotels during my business and leisure trips, and this hosts provided it on par with 4-5 star hotels.

Andrei and Elena are fantastic people, they are always happy, SO order, everything clean. We really Will love you can stay here in the future.

Our stay at Casa Horizontes surpassed expectations! The house is loving cared for and maintained. Daily housekeeping service keeps things clean and tidy. Lovely garden right under the deck. Stunning views of Bahía Drake from the terrace. A birder’s paradise surrounds the property. Breakfast option brought to you at reasonable price (as well as laundry service on sight for nominal cost). Owners Pedro and Yami are the best hosts we have ever encountered: quick to respond to all requests, friendly, helpful, gracious. Housekeeping ladies (Karen and Gloriana) keep the rental looking nice everyday. Like many places in area there is no AC. Access to rental is up a short, but steep, hill which wasn’t a problem for us but you should be prepared.  Would absolutely return again and recommend to others looking for a stay in Costa Rica allowing you to get to know the locals and enjoy their amazing country and hospitality!  Thank you again Pedro, Yami, Karen and Gloriana for everything! ❤️

My family of 10 stayed at Pedro’s Airbnb for a week and had an incredible experience. It is centrally located just a short walk to The beach and restaurants and the view from the living room is amazing. In addition Pedro coordinated many taxis, helped us get a beautiful birthday cake for our mom and made us a wonderful breakfast on our last day. This is one of the best Airbnb experiences I have had and I would love to come back.

The Mary´s family was amazing, they are a very cozy family, as our place, friendly and enjoyable. We really liked hosting them and a lot families we had in Casa Horizontes there were wonderful. Yami and Pedro.

Great space with an awesome view. We were two families traveling with 3 kids, ages 4-11. It’s a close walk to all that you need. It is a hike up to the bluff where the house sits but we didn’t mind. But you’ll need to be physically fit enough to do so. They can also arrange snorkel activities and other excursions. Very nice family.

Our month long family stay at Casa Horizontes was incredible! Yami and Pedro are great hosts The house sits in gorgeous setting in the Bahia Drake, amazing views of the ocean from the balcony. All the rooms were comfortable and clean. Everything on the premises is set up to go beyond typical expectations, and certainly achieved that wow factor. And the staff! Every person we interacted with was so kind, helpful, prepared and resourceful! Thank you for seeing to our every comfort and convenience! We enjoyed the beautiful rainforest, beaches & wildlife surrounding us. From the balcony we saw toucans, pelican, scarlet macaw, different hummingbirds, black vultures, orange-chinned parakeet, common black hawk, all sort of different tanagers, white-faced capuchin monkeys etc for bird lovers a paradise. The house is perfectly poised for easy access to island snorkeling, paddle boarding, fishing, jungle hiking, and is a 45 minute boat ride from Cordovan National Park. For nature enthusiasts, this park is a must. High recommend for anyone visiting Bahia Drakè!!

Pleasant stay! We took the boat from Sierpe and were picked up upon arrival and brought to the accommodation. Friendly welcome and everything was well arranged. Beautiful view!
