Villa Nova- vacation home

Great location, close to the heart of Tamarindo and about a 8 minute walk to the beach. Very secure property and felt safe. Nice blackout curtains and AC in each bedroom. Could have used more bathroom towels as we only had 1 or 2 per bathroom, which was about one per person for us for the whole week. Overall would highly recommend.

This house was perfect for our group in Tamarindo. I chose it because it looked like we could walk to restaurants, shops, and activities, and that ended up being completely true. The house is beautiful, the pool is amazing, and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. As first-time visitors to Costa Rica, we appreciated how safe and secure the property felt. We also booked airport shuttles, an ATV tour, and a private catamaran through the host, which made planning much easier. The only downside was the catamaran excursion. Unfortunately, we booked it on the only day of our trip with heavy rain and rough seas. Several people became sick, and we were not allowed to reschedule despite the conditions. We also experienced issues with a broken sail and received different food than what we had paid for in advance. I would skip this, or wait to book closer in advance. Overall, the house itself was excellent, and I would recommend it for large groups visiting Tamarindo

Great stay, great location in Tamarindo. Very easy to access restaurants, grocery store, and beach. Keren and Ivana were very helpful.

If you want a place in heart of tamarindo close to everything you can literally walk to everything in tamarindo from this house. Perfect location. Very secure and safe. Nice pool. Not a place for beautiful scenery and sunset but beautifully decorated nice patio and pool area. Right in heart of tamarindo. We loved it. Teenagers could go to beach older adults could stay at house we could all walk 5 min meet up later. Wonderful service and communication very resourceful. Pizza restaurant right next door was amazing and perfect for big family.

We loved our stay at Villa Nova! So walkable - seriously 5 minutes from restaurants and bars and beach. The amenities were just as described and had no issues getting into the house. The host was also great at scheduling excursions for us! Overall fantastic experience.

This was our first trip to Tamarindo and Villa Nova made our visit even more wonderful! Ivana and Keren were great communicators, helped plan all of our excursions and were always prompt in responding. The home had such a true Costa Rica vibe with lush live plants in the house. The large windows and plants made it feel like we were dining al fresco in the middle of a tropical garden. The location is amazing. The swimming pool was a huge hit and the beds were large and comfortable. The kitchen and large dining table were perfect for our big group to gather for breakfast and the pool table was such a fun bonus. My kids had never played before and learned during our stay. Having a grocery store and pharmacy nearby was also so convenient. Pro tip: Make a reservation at Dragonfly. You can be there in no time and it was delicious. Green Papaya was also excellent and easy walk!
