Good spot for a group. Cool outside pool house. Not thrilled about additional $450 charge which I wish I had known prior - it’s about 20-30 mins outside of the main town of Fortuna. Washer and dryer didn’t work so you need to get laundry done in town. (Another additional expense) Recommend private chef for this place as only a couple restaurants in town. They are good tho!

I could not recommend staying at Villa Cocos more highly. This villa is every bit as beautiful as the pictures, and has so many wonderful details. From the sloth coffee cups, projector screen, swing seats, ample blankets and towels, every need you might have on a trip to La Fortuna has been anticipated by Danny and accounted for. Danny was great to communicate with, and even dropped by with a welcome package with coffee once we checked in. The villa was spotless, and had so much space while still feeling so home-y. Do yourself a favor and book with Danny and Villa Cocos!

What a piece of paradise… even more beautiful then the photos and really private. The pool, the jacuzzi, the outside area, we loved everything and would highly reccomend!

Awesome experience. A little difficult to find but Danny provided YouTube videos on how to find the Airbnb, how to open the door, etc. great chicken place right around the corner. Would stay again

Omg. This house is everything.. You're right there in the jungle. If you walk the trails you find the river too. Had a great stay. Highly recommend if you're looking for a true rainforest experience.

Très belle maison, sur 1 étage. Maison propre, mais très humide. La terrasse et la cour extérieure sont encore plus belles que sur photos.

Beautiful spot! We’ll miss the relaxing mornings on the balcony. We saw sloths, monkeys, a toucan, and many other animals.

Every day that we were there, we remarked at how spectacular this place was. It never ceased to amaze us. I'd call it a little oasis, but it's actually far too big and spacious to be called a "little" anything. And that was the only surprise we had about it: it's even bigger than the photos imply. Three of us stayed there for half a week, and took full advantage of the large, fully-stocked kitchen, the spacious living area, massive front balcony, separate pool and jacuzzi areas and the roomy bedrooms. It was a dream. And Danny is a world-class host. Attentive, welcoming and helpful, and special shoutout to the Christmas decorations, which were a really nice touch. We'll be recommending this place to anyone who heads to Costa Rica.
