The property was in a great resort with access to the hotel pools, while still having our own private experience. The complimentary shuttles were a nice touch, as long as you called ahead and your group was ready for pickup.

We experienced several significant issues during our stay that impacted the usability of the property.
The downstairs air conditioning was not functioning for an extended period, making those areas unusable for sleeping. We also experienced a loss of running water, which affected our ability to use basic facilities.
Additionally, we encountered a pest issue, including ants and a scorpion found inside the home near a sleeping area, which raised safety concerns for our family.
We made multiple attempts to get assistance during our stay, but the issues were not resolved in a timely manner.
The property itself has potential, but these issues significantly affected our experience.

We would like to clarify that our villas are privately owned residences, and while we manage them and coordinate all service requests, occasional maintenance issues can arise. That said, each of the concerns you reported including the air conditioning, water interruption, and pest control, were promptly escalated and addressed by the appropriate teams as soon as they were notified. Regarding the water interruption, this was a temporary, resort-wide issue and not isolated to the villa. It was resolved within approximately 3 hours, rather than the longer duration initially reported. We would also like to note that the local team’s contact details for assistance during your stay were shared multiple times prior to your arrival, to ensure you had direct and immediate support if needed. Regarding pests, the villas are located in a tropical environment, and despite regular preventive treatments, occasional sightings can occur. However, we take these matters very seriously, especially when they involve guest safety, and immediate action was taken. We understand how disruptive these situations can be and regret the inconvenience caused during your stay. Your comments have been shared with the relevant teams and the homeowner to help ensure improvements moving forward. Thank you again for your feedback.

If your coming to Cabo this is the best place to stay, amazing view incredible hospitality. Place was clean fast room service great food and drinks i look forward to coming back !

Saul made the process simple and convenient. The Montecristo is absolutely gorgeous and does not disappoint. The pool, the hot tub, the VIEW…all amazing.

I must say overall Pueblo Bonito Montecristo is a beautiful resort with an Airbnb as an excellent gem. The space was perfect to accommodate our family during the Christmas holidays. All of the amenities made it worth the venture.
The only negative I would mention is improve customer service among the staff at front desk/concierge service , which would have made our check-in and checkout process much easier.

Had a great stay at Montecristo Villas. When you book you can’t actually pick a unit. You are stuck with what they give you. Some have bigger outside areas but we were happy with this unit. We’ve stayed in different areas in Cabo over the years and this rivals the Pedegral neighborhood. Gated community and safe. One thing about Cabo and different places we’ve stayed are the claim of “heated pools” most places only heat their pools 4 hours a day and it’s not enough. The pool here was about as perfect as it could be and we could hardly get out it was so nice. Highly recommend this place. It is kinda cookie cutter ish but pretty private depending on the unit you get

Booking thru Saul is cheaper than booking thru resort. We don't know what we were missing because we didn't have a butler, but did fine without it. You get the option to do all inclusive (AI) which is wildly expensive. We did not & all in we spent less than 1/2 of what we would have for AI. We paid for dinner out right 2x on the resort. You are told you get 10% off but have to fight for it every time (not Saul's fault). Bistro had decent food. You are somewhat limited if you don't want to pay an upcharge to eat at some restaurants. Highly recommend taking the complimentary bus to sister resort, Rose, & walk to dinner downtown! We stopped at Walmart (full grocery) on the way from the airport and got staples to do a few breakfasts and lunches at the house (kids who are picky eaters!). The full kitchen is a plus & had all basics to get you by. Views are unbeatable and our villa was nice with definite wear. Overall, a beautiful vacation with unlimited options if you want to pay more.

This was my second time staying with Saul. Everything was as expected and the location is amazing. Breathtaking views and close to downtown. I would not hesitate to stay with him again.

The resort put $4800 in holds then charged the full balance of $3200 rather than simply refunding $1600 and ruined my credit card.
We also had local friends in as guests that were refused access even after we agreed to pay any additional charges (even though they were not even staying in the rental).
Kind of disappointing to say the least.
It was a safe and secure location and it was a decent place to stay but these issues need to be noted as it very much impacted and hurt the enjoyment of our trip.

This was a great stay. The staff was amazing, shuttle drivers were excellent, and the pool and so at the villa mixed with the view was jaw dropping. Would definitely come back! This place doesn’t disappoint.

This house is perfect for our family of 6! I would say that the views were so amazing and we could see the whales early in the morning sitting on the balcony. The location was great, close to downtown. Once, we figured out the shuttle service it was a pleasant stay. We will definitely be back.

Unit 27 in the Monte Cristo has many hazardous issues. The air conditioner was pouring out water on to the tile floor when we arrived. We called maintenance and they said they repaired it but it happened again the next day as well as the following the day we were there. Three out of the four days.
The front fountain was broken so water pooled outside the front door which meant mud was brought into the house constantly. The bed linens were used and left dirty. The housekeeping staff was helpful but we had to pay personally for the assistance. I would never rent from this Host on any property he has because it was extremely expensive and obviously his property has been ignored . All appliances and utensils we very poor quality. The refrigerator/freezer has terrible odor.
I had to go to Walmart in a taxi because the house had no antibacterial soap ,shampoo or cleaning supplies. I needed to buy everything for our four day stay. When you walked across the room in your white sox, they were immediately black from the filthy floor. I mopped, washed down every counter with Lysol. It was filthy. In this Covid time , I trusted the promise they made for clean standards and that was a lie. Please contact the housekeeping staff at Pueblo Bonito to learn the amount of time we had to spend to try and get it anywhere near clean.

The villa is beautiful and very clean. The views are simply breathtaking. I had thought I wanted to sleep in for vacation but I found myself up at the crack of dawn so as not to miss the sunrise and the fishing boats heading out. You'll want to take in every beautiful moment! We highly recommend!!!

Book this villa , you will not be disappointed! It was so spacious and with 2 couples we each had a floor to ourselves . The lower level has 2 bdrms and an additional living area . The infinity pool and hot tub were incredible . Watched amazing sunsets from our private pool .

Beautiful villa, very elegant. Pictures do not disappoint. Local management was quick to address concerns and also followed up to check in on us. We rented a car for our stay as parking at Villa Monte Christi is free-highly recommend this. Stopped at Walmart on way in to grab essentials and made use of The Market for dining at the resort too - food was great. Room service was also very prompt. I feel so spoiled to have had my own private pool and hot tub! Perfect after a round of golf at Quivera.
