Selina Puerto Viejo

Una completa decepción, un lugar sobrevalorado, es un "hostel" viejo y descuidado con precio de un hotel 4 estrellas, lo único rescatable es el servicio de los empleados, pero todo el edificio está en pésimo estado, madera vieja y podrida en todas las instalaciones, todas las fotos son publicidad engañosa, una piscina corriente toda despintada con cero iluminación en la noche y en las fotos se ve increíblemente linda e iluminada, todos los murales desteñidos, los pisos de madera se movían cuando uno caminaba, literal se está cayendo ese lugar, y es extremadamente caro, esa habitación no vale más de $25pp en cualquier otro lugar. Habitaciones con olor terrible a humedad y super pequeñas, una cama que literal es un catre con solo sentarse uno se hunde y suena horrible, no es un lugar para descansar había fiesta como hasta la 1 de la mañana. Somos personas sencillas y nos adaptamos a cualquier lugar pero con relación al precio teníamos altas expectativas, un fracaso.

Selina is a great place but it needs better maintenance. I'm really sad to say that the fridge was disgusting! The smell coming out of it was exactly like driving near a trash landfill. The colorful 3 floors building featuring in the main photo is falling apart, no one stays there, there's red tape for people to keep out of there, and the painting has faded so much, it looks like the photo was taken 20 years ago. Biggest disappointment though, there were ZERO windows in our bedroom! No natural light whatsoever. For the price, I just don't think that was worth it unfortunately. On the positive side, the pool is still very nice, location is great and overall staff were very helpful.
