This unit is spotless, very clean and comfortable. Our family of four had a great time there, playing cards on one of the three balconies in the evenings and spending the day at the beach or at the pool.

Being at the Shana by the Sea resort means that there is a pool and restaurant onsite, while at the same time having an assigned parking spot, which is very convenient.

The only drawback of that is there there is a resort vibe to it, with music playing at the pool during the day. If you are looking for a quiet place to listen to the birds, etc, this may not be it. Everything else is fantastic

Fantastic stay at Shana. His place was big enough for a family of five, kitchen set up was great, beds were comfortable and overall the place was great. The main patio is great and close to the pool. The Shana resort I'd rate a 4,beatuiful views, monkeys all over and the walk to the beach was easy and fun. The beach is rocky, go all the way to the right side. The drinks and food are super expensive... As is all of Manuel Antonio. The food is average and most the staff is very nice. Glad we rented this and not go through hotel.

Beautiful Airbnb with an amazing view. Walkable to a nice beach and the pool was beautiful. The best were the most comfortable we slept in since arriving in Costa Rica.

Steps from the entrance to Biezans beach (recommended for the morning) depending on the tides. Very good equipment and access to the amenities offered by Shana by the beach to its guests as well as to the local restaurant. The apartment is in the same complex as the hotel. Next to the pool, which can be a bit noisy in the evening, during the day it is usually quite quiet. The wonderful view of the ocean and lots of native wildlife nearby. The large balcony for breakfast or dinner. Good restaurants available down the main street (although the route is not so short as to walk constantly). The host offers a very complete and accurate guide to restaurants and other activities.

Our family had an amazing stay in MA!

The apartment has an amazing view, it’s spacious and comfortable. It’s also very well located, offering easy acess to Biesanz beach, as well as a short drive to the national park and several great restaurants.

We would definitely recommend it!

We had a fabulous stay at Kent’s beautiful condo. All is as shown in the pictures. We had plenty of space for four of us to spread out and live in for a few nights. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the playful capuchin monkeys, even coming right up to our balcony! We did enjoy the pool one afternoon and walked down to the beach; quite a trek! It was a little crowded for us, but certainly a nice option to have. The communication was excellent and the dedicated parking space was so great. Having an excellent restaurant on site served us well one tired evening. We really loved our time there!

The location is right by great restaurants and mini marts. The trail down to the ocean is beautiful. The condo is large and is right over the pool/restaurant where you can watch wildlife. We will be back again!

Really enjoyed our stay in the condo! We had everything we needed. Great for two couples with bedrooms with their own bathrooms on opposite sides of the kitchen and living room. There are hangers, beach towels and beach chairs! I so appreciated having coffee to make in the morning! Great communication with owner Kent. Close to Manuel Antonio National Park Highly recommend a certified guide for the park and Vanessa with the property management will set this up and will give you good restaurant recommendations! We liked watching birds and monkeys in the early morning and late afternoon from the deck. The 10 minute walk to the beach is just down the hill and a well marked resort path. Highly recommend this property.

We loved staying in the apartment. It's the same as what you see in the listing, very clean, easy access to a divine beach, access to good services in the condominium, close to good places to eat and visit. The instructions they gave us were clear, very useful and everything was very simple. We felt very comfortable and communication was very good. I would recommend it to others and would definitely stay there again.

We had an amazing stay at this condo in Manuel Antonio! The space was very clean, well-equipped, and comfortable, and the A/C worked perfectly. The balcony view was absolutely stunning. We also loved the beautiful pool and being able to enjoy meals poolside—it made everything feel so relaxing and convenient.

The location is perfect—just a short walk to a gorgeous beach where we saw sloths, herons, squirrel monkeys, and howler monkeys! The capuchin monkeys by the pool were also quite entertaining. The property is very kid-friendly, and the on-site restaurant was both delicious and convenient.

Kent was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, and the concierge, Vanessa, went above and beyond in booking excursions. The buggy tour to the waterfalls was a true highlight!

I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend this condo for families or anyone looking for a peaceful, nature-filled getaway with all the comforts of home.

Pura Vida!

My family absolutely loved our time In Manuel Antonio and the stay at this Airbnb. The condo was as advertised and was very spacious and clean. However, the 3 balconies are what sets this Airbnb apart from others. The view is nothing less than spectacular. The different birds and wildlife we saw from the balcony are too numerous to list. The Shana resort was beautiful as well we enjoyed the restaurant, pools, and the short walk/hike down to Biesanz beach.

Vanessa was also very helpful and booked several tours for us including day and night tours to the park, fishing, horseback riding, and a chocolate/coffee tour. Every tour was great and unlike similar tours in other destinations these tours were all better than advertised.

In summary I can’t recommend this Airbnb enough. Costa Rica truly delivered for my family and left us all inspired. Can’t wait to return someday and experience more of this wonderful country.

The Shana is a great resort and Kent’s place was wonderful. Everything was so clean. The view is amazing from the balcony. We loved to sit and relax in the rocking chairs and watch the mischievous capuchin monkeys get into everything at the resort. So much space in this condo. It was perfect for our family of five. Will definitely come back.

Our stay with Kent in Manual Antonio was AMAZING!!!! Everything was perfect from the location to the accommodations!!!! We can’t wait to come back!!!! You have to stay here!!!!

Vanessa was awesome with helping us with planning activities. We did the guided tour of MA national park and the ADR adventure park and both were incredible!!!!!

This was our 2nd time staying in this condo and we absolutely love it. Location is great as well as the view, restaurant, bar and amenities!!

This was a perfect location to either relax or to enjoy activities. The beach was an easy walk and it was an incredible location for swimming and spending the day. The condo was clean, comfortable and had an incredible view. The balcony was my favorite spot to spend time at the condo. I have stayed in airbnb around the world, this is one was at the top of the list for being a special place and one I hope to return to.

We absolutely loved staying at Kent’s condo. The location is perfect it is near so many restaurants and 5 minutes from the beach. There are monkeys all over the hotel and climbing on the balconies. We will absolutely come back again.

This place is like piece of heaven, very beautiful condo, serein beauty and art like surroundings. We stayed here for two days and did not plan any activities as this place itself very relaxing and lot to do near by. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. Check in is super easy, restaurant recommendations, other activities related recommendations are super helpful. We will definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

Loved staying at Kent’s place. So nice! Plenty of room for our family of 4. It would be a great place for 2 couples as well. Huge closets and 3 bathrooms! There was a lot of space! We used the 2 beach chairs. Loved the private parking spot. Vanessa set up our tours and they were top notch! The tour guides she booked us with were amazing. We highly recommend if you are looking for a super nice place to stay in a great location.

The apartment is very comfortable- two large bedrooms were private and luxurious. Kent and Vanessa were so helpful- and walking to the beach was awesome. Thank you!!!

The place is spectacular, the room is super beautiful with all the expected amenities and more..., it is much nicer than seen in the photos and to cook everything available. Very nice for those who love nature, monkeys come to the windows and the restaurant and the forest, birds, iguanas are appreciated. The food from the restaurant is delicious and the service is very good. Beautiful, highly recommended.

Kent and the concierge Carli were most helpful with the booking and making arrangements ahead of time. Loved the ability to arrange for groceries to be delivered on the day of our arrival. The condo was very clean, very comfortable, a great layout-perfect for 2 single people, or 2 couples and additional sofa beds as well. Being able to access the amenities of the resort, Shana By The Beach was a bonus. Great views from the condo, property was secure and the reception staff were very helpful and most kind. I would not hesitate to recommend and I would not hesitate to return to this property. Thank you Kent for an awesome home away from home

This was a wonderful location with the beach near by, walking distance. The Shana facility was wonderful and accomodating. We utilized both pools, spa, and restaurant. ALL were great.

The home itself was bigger than expected and the patio was heaven. We didn't do any cooking, but we were able to use the blender for Pina Coladas. Everything you need is at your finger tips.

Excellent location, beautiful apartment, all amenities

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Shana Residences. The unit was spacious and had many amenities we needed to make our stay special. We loved the set up of the bedrooms separated by the living space with each couple having privacy. The birds and monkeys visible from the balcony and the sloth family down by the beach were a bonus! Beautiful, secure space, with friendly hotel staff near the pool, and restaurant. Delicious food in the restaurant too!

Kent was a great host! Very timely communication and provided great suggestions on places to explore in the nearby town of Quepos. The residence at Shana provided everything as described, beautiful elevated view of the ocean, and rainforest, walkable to two beaches (10-20 min). Only thing to keep in mind, is the property is located on steep hill(s) and walking around may be more of a challenge than you’d anticipate. You can easily take a taxi if the walking a hill is too much. It was great to see the capuchins visit the property in the mornings also. The staff at Shana were also great. Would recommend staying here!

This condo was even better than the pictures showed. It was comfortable, beautiful, and a great location. The rooms were spacious and HUGE! The staff at the resort really made our trip memorable. They went above to be friendly and helpful. They took the time to really get to know our family and build a relationship with us. There is a tour office that made navigating trips and covid testing easy. Both the resort restaurant and the cafe down the street (Cafe Milagros) had tasty food. I highly recommend this host and location.
