The Space
The design of Nimbu West combines stunning aesthetics with an intimate atmosphere. Entering through the keypad-gated entrance in the quiet Playa Langosta neighborhood reveals a private resort-like environment. The ground floor and surrounding grounds feature interconnected infinity pools, integrated lounge and exercise areas, outdoor showers, and lush landscaping, all secured within a private perimeter.
Attention to detail, quality materials, and thoughtful design are central to the Nimbu experience. The property showcases impeccable lighting, advanced audio/visual technology, custom furniture, luxurious linens, and expert craftsmanship, creating a seamless high-end environment.
Ascending to the main living level is an experience in itself. A gradual teak ramp leads above the sparkling pools to an open yet covered space enveloped in expansive teak from floor to vaulted ceiling. This area serves as the central indoor/outdoor lounge and dining space, connecting the main bedrooms, kitchen, and upstairs entertainment areas.
The second-floor living spaces overlook the pools and grounds below, allowing for fluid interaction between social and private activities. Two bedrooms are accessed from the kitchen side, while the main suite and guest/office bedrooms connect across the central deck.
All bedrooms and bathrooms are beautifully designed, comfortable, and fully equipped. The main bedroom suite features a spa-grade shower and bathroom, large custom built-in furniture, outdoor balconies, luxurious beds and linens, and exceptional interior design.
The detached casita, located privately off the pool area, includes a king bed, a second fully equipped kitchen, private dining and living spaces, fiber internet, a flatscreen TV, and a sectional sofa. This casita provides additional privacy and independence for guests.
The main indoor kitchen and living area feature 30-foot-wide floor-to-ceiling glass doors that can be fully opened or closed for climate control. This space includes a 75-inch flatscreen TV with surround Sonos sound and fiber internet, perfect for enjoying movies and sports. An adjacent high-end outdoor covered gas grill with sink, counter, and storage supports group meals and social gatherings.
Nimbu Compound: Nimbu West & Nimbu East
Nimbu is composed of two identical, adjacent homes—Nimbu West and Nimbu East—each fully private and secure. Both homes offer their own pools, grounds, bedrooms, lounges, and kitchens with no shared amenities. Each property accommodates up to 10 guests.
For larger groups of up to 20 people or special events, both homes can be rented together and connected to form a spacious compound. The two properties are separated by a 10-foot-tall wall, which staff can unlock and open to create a seamless 30-foot by 30-foot grass lawn linking the homes.

Location
Nimbu is located a three-minute walk from the beach, three minutes by car to Tamarindo, and 40 miles from Liberia International Airport (LIR). The property sits in the quiet and highly sought-after Langosta neighborhood, adjacent to the 1,100-acre nationally protected Las Baulas National Marine Park.
Langosta supermarket, a well-stocked neighborhood market, is just one block away. Tamarindo offers excellent restaurants, some within a short walk, as well as vibrant beachfront dining, renowned surf spots, and lively nightlife.
Additional Information
Nimbu has a dedicated long-term staff focused exclusively on guest comfort, housekeeping, and maintenance. Management and concierge services are also available to support all guest needs.

Our stay was nothing short of fantastic. Every single review was spot on. Paragraph the room rooms and bathroom bathrooms were spotless and felt like a spa. The Air-conditioning in the rooms worked well which was definitely necessary in the Costa Rican heat! We had two families of four including two teenage boys and everybody loved the property. My 18-year-old was able to use the separate downstairs apartment and loved the privacy. Because the property was so nice we spent a lot of time in the saltwater pool. Having Andrea set up the golf carts ahead of time was a plus and definitely the best way to get around. Andrea and management were extremely responsive and diligent in fixing a couple of small issues that came up. I would not hesitate to recommend this stay to friends and family or come back myself! The best way to explore Costa Rica!

Nimbu was the best possible place for our family to spend my mom’s 79th bday. Andrea is a host like no other, she greeted us upon arrival and made sure we wanted for nothing. She had the best recommendations for activities and restaurants and even went a step further and made all of our actual reservations. The home was perfect for our group of 8 and was spacious with a beautiful tropic look/feel. The pool is heated and the outdoor area is great for entertaining. There was a small grocery store literally 30ft away from the home, which was perfect for small store runs. The town of Tamarindo is a 5 min golf cart ride away that has all of the shopping and restaurants.

We had an amazing stay! The host/staff was very quick and responsive, making everything smooth from start to finish. The home was spotless with great amenities, including very comfortable king-size beds. We loved the heated pool and gym area, and the AC kept the house perfectly cool after long days in the heat and humidity. Andrea, the concierge, made planning our bachelorette trip effortless and seamless. Sandra, the house manager, was wonderful—she gave us a full tour and even went above and beyond by coordinating with emergency services when a fallen tree blocked the road, ensuring we still made it to the airport on time. Flamingo Foods provided delicious breakfasts with great service, and housekeeping was exceptional—quiet, thorough, and unobtrusive. The golf carts were also a highlight and made getting around the area so easy and fun. Overall, this was a five-star experience from beginning to end. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone!

LOVED LOVED LOVED every aspect of my stay here! I spent my bachelorette here and was amazed by the incredible service, included concierge and housekeeping. Everything was perfect! So clean and so relaxing here. Andrea was absolutely amazing! She helped coordinate all my restaurants, transportation and activities during my stay here. She was very responsive and helped me plan everything months before so by the time I got there, everything was ready. All of our plans went so smooth and she gave the best recommendations. Thank you so much for helping making this trip unforgettable and the bach of my dreams. I would stay here again and again! Loved Costa Rica and this beautiful villa. Already considering coming back next year and renting out both villas!

Our 7 day stay at the Nimbu West Villa was everything we could have asked for. The home is gorgeous and comfortably accommodated our party of 9 adults. We loved the pool and hot tub and enjoyed it everyday we were there. The location is very convenient with a grocery store, restaurants, and the beach within close walking distance. We rented golf carts which made it very easy to get in and out of Tamarindo. Big thanks to Andrea our concierge for helping arrange multiple excursions and logistics in advance of our arrival. We also appreciated the housekeeping staff for making the home so clean and providing anything we needed. It was a great stay and we hope to come back again soon.

If you're looking for the ideal mix of peace and convenience, this place delivers. The location is tucked away in a quiet setting, but you're only minutes from downtown Tamarindo. Easy access to restaurants, beaches, and nightlife without any of the noise. The house itself was excellent from top to bottom. The layout was well thought out, everything was spotless, and the amenities covered everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. The outdoor spaces were amazing. Highly recommend!

This house is insanely beautiful! It was such a treat to stay. It’s a true jungle dream house. We spent so much time enjoying the pool, and it’s a quick uber ride to town/the beach. We booked a chef dinner through the concierge service which was truly incredible. We also booked a private catamaran tour which was truly amazing. We also got grocery delivery service and arrived to a fully stocked fridge! The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay absolutely perfect. It is so appreciated! The bathroom in the master suite is basically a spa. The retractable roof is like nothing I’ve ever seen. The in-ground hot tub is luxurious! If you are looking for a unique stay — don’t hesitate to book! It’s great for groups and everyone will love the cool design.
