El Oasis is a charming two-bedroom, two-bathroom beachfront villa located in the vibrant Gandoca-Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge. Private Beach Access
One of the villa’s main highlights is its private access to the beach. Step directly onto the peaceful shoreline to enjoy leisurely walks, relax in the sun, and spend quality time with family and friends.

Guests have full access to the entire villa, including all indoor and outdoor areas. During your stay, you are welcome to use:

This is a great house in a great location. Howler monkeys, green macaws, and toucans all common from the deck. The walk to the beach is super short and well maintained. You can see water from the second story. The craftsmanship around the house feels very European and sound. If you’re looking for a Costa Rican jungle house on the beach, this is it. Just know the house is designed to be living half inside and half outside, so if you’re into that this is your place. Also there were surf boards, bogie boards, and sand toys which was a huge bonus. Lots of keys to navigate with the doors and gates, but it’s all doable. Would stay here again.

super séjour dans cette belle maison caribéenne. Cadre et maison parfaitement adaptée avec des enfants. l'accès plage dire t au top, le nid de aras une merveille tous les jours et l'accueil des singes hurleurs et araignées un bonus ❤️ hâte de revenir

Great place to crash and not have to leave. Private beach access! Came with surf boards and body boards which the kids loved. The whole house was generally well equipped. Monkeys and parrots play in the trees in the morning which is fun to watch. The whole property is huge and there is lots for kids to explore. Not a huge fan of the basement wall/doors... there aren't any screens and it's advised to close the doors at 5pm to keep the bugs out. Feels like any sort of dark basement - useless when the power goes out as there is no emergency light down there. Bedrooms were fine enough, NOTE the top bunk is not made - you're not supposed to use it apparently... the pictures do not make that clear. Help out the host by emptying the dehumidifer that's in the basement at least 2x a day. It will be full in 12 hours and the electronics on the washer/dryer do not like the humidity! Would stay there again.

Eine tolle Villa in Traumlage. Sehr komfortabel und gut ausgestattet. Tolle Aussicht vom Hauptschlafzimmer und dank der großen verglasten Schiebetüren ist es wahlweise möglich kühl klimatisiert oder nur durch das Mückennetz von der Natur getrennt zu schlafen und aufzuwachen - in jedem Fall mit herrlichem Blick auf Palmen, Strand und Meer und der gewaltigen Geräuschkulisse von Brandung und Brüllaffen. Die großzügige Küche kann man zum überdachten Ess- und Wohnbereich hin leicht öffnen. Auf dem riesigen Grundstück konnten wir Aras, Tucane, Affen, Waschbären, Agutis und ein Faultier beobachten. Der Strand ist toll und in diesem Bereich wunderschön einsam. Direkt vor dem Haus sollte man nur mit Vorsicht baden (Strömungen). Man kann aber wunderschön spazieren gehen und erreicht in beiden Richtungen schnell zum Baden sichere Gebiete. Die Betreuung des Hauses ist sehr gut. Einfache Kommunikation und im Bedarfsfall wurde uns sehr schnell geholfen. Ich kann das Haus nur empfehlen

The place is exactly described. Beachfront. Tucked away so you feel like you’re not around a lot of people but yet close to everything you need to drive to or even walk to. Lots of nature, all around the proper as well, which is peaceful.

La casa de Michael es una casa de ensueño. Su ubicación la hace algo muy especial. Cuenta con salida directa a la playa (playa grande de manzanillo), la cual se siente como una playa privada y donde inclusive se puede surfear. La casa cuenta con tablas de body y de surf, además de tener 2 guacamayos que viven en un árbol dentro de la propiedad. Su estilo es de mucho nivel. Quiero hacer hincapié en la atención personalizada del equipo de oasis y en especial de Guillermo, quien mostró real preocupación para que todo sea perfecto durante nuestra estadía. Un servicio verdaderamente integral. Fue un lujo y sin dudas volveríamos. Desde ya muchas gracias.

Wir waren sehr begeistert von der Unterkunft. Es war ein sehr herzlicher Empfang, das Haus war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet. Alles war sehr gut durchdacht und sehr sauber. Der Zugang zum Meer war sehr einfach. Wir kommen auf jede Fall wieder.

We loved our stay! The place was exactly as described. Everything was great - listening to the sounds (ocean and wildlife), lush landscaping, beach access, and the place itself. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you’d need and more (even a hand mixer) Walkable to a nearby restaurant across the street and a few more in Manzanilla which is a little further walk (only do during daytime hours only). Getting around is easy with Uber and the Tuk tuks. I’d suggest renting car, scooter or atv at least for a couple days to give you more freedom to check out different places along the side of the roads and some of the side roads. Michael and Utopia Caribe were excellent. Fridge wasn’t working and they had it replaced the same day! We screwed up our flight reservation back to SJO and they secured us a driver the same day!
