The Space
Relax in this peaceful and stylish mountain house offering spectacular views of the San Jose Central Valley, Poás Volcano, and Barva Volcano. Nestled within a 219-acre farm, the cabin comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests, making it ideal for families or small groups.
The cabin features a fully equipped chef's kitchen, a Finnish sauna, a fireplace, a fire pit, and a BBQ grill. Surrounding the property are over 20 acres of forest reserve and more than 10 kilometers of private roads and trails, perfect for quiet walks immersed in nature.
The cabin is brand new, showcasing modern rustic architecture that combines style, efficiency, and a cozy atmosphere.
Bedrooms
- Bedroom 1 (Master): Located on the first floor, this room includes a king-size all-wood bed and an ensuite bathroom with a standalone rain shower.
- Bedroom 2: Also on the first floor, this room has a queen-size bed and twin double bunk beds.
- Bedroom 3: Situated in the mezzanine, this room features a queen-size bed.
All linens are 100% cotton with a 300-thread count.
Guest Access
Guests have full access to the cabin and the extensive private property, including:
- Finnish sauna for up to 6 people, ideal for relaxation.
- Over 10 kilometers of private roads and trails for hiking and peaceful walks.

La estadía estuvo maravillosa, la casa queda dentro de una plantación de helechos y plantas ornamentales, por lo que pudimos caminar por la finca ente la naturaleza. La vista es espectacular y los atardeceres también. Es un lugar hermoso para pasear en familia y descansar. David siempre estuvo pendiente de ayudar y resolvió todo lo que le pedíamos . We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this mountain house in Poás. The views are simply breathtaking — waking up to the mist rolling over the mountains was unforgettable. The setting feels peaceful and secluded, yet still comfortable and welcoming. The house itself is incredibly cosy, especially with the open fireplace that creates the perfect atmosphere in the cool mountain evenings. Sitting by the fire after sunset made the whole experience even more special. Everything was clean, well maintained, and exactly as described. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat with spectacular scenery and a warm, charming ambiance, this is the place. Highly recommended — we would definitely return!

Excelente lugar, tal y como se ve en las imágenes y en la descripción. Tiene unas vistas increíbles, vale mucho la pena Lo único malo es que el check-out es a las 10:00 AM, nos pareció muy temprano. Tienen que mejorar esa parte. Se nos ofreció late checkout pero por un precio muy elevado.

La casa Luminous es espectacular súper cómoda y acogedora, la vista impresionante, el rancho súper cómodo y amplio, siempre disfrutamos mucho la estadía en las casas que tiene David en airbnb. Lo único que siento que debería considerarse es que la check out sea a las 12 mediodía ya que actualmente el check out es a las 10 am entonces en la mañana hay como que correr mucho para que dé tiempo de salir a esa hora

Es mi segunda vez en este Airbnb. Desafortunadamente no pudimos usar el sauna :( Pero David es muy atento y amable, se comunica en todo momento y siempre pendiente.
