We really enjoyed our stay at Todd and Rocio’s, they are really helpful and friendly and made us feel at home from the start. The location is very secluded and feels like in the middle of the jungle - if you are lucky you can spot monkeys and beautiful birds around. The place was spotlessly clean (no bugs or ants inside). The kitchen is well equipped with everything you may need, drinking water is available. There is a huge terrace, looking over the jungle, perfect for stargazing at night :) There are three beautiful beaches in walking distance (the road to the house is a little steep, but our 5 y.o. nailed it), some restaurants by the seaside, several small stores (pulperias), but better to buy some groceries in advance. We definetely recommend and would gladly stay there again :)

Exceptional in every way!! I can not say enough good things about my stay. It was outstanding. My children and I spent about 7 weeks with Todd and Rocio. They are there to help with anything you need. The rooms are beautiful, clean, spacious and the breakfasts are delicious. The view from the deck is full of trees, monkeys and birds and we totally fell in love with the space and Playa Gigante. Todd and Rocio introduced us to many amazing people and toured us to a few spots. Todd took my husband surfing while he was visiting and lent him a surf board. Playa Amarillo is gorgeous too and everything is walking distance (about 15 mins to the beach). It is totally safe as well and not once did I worry for my kids or our belongings. Book this home! You will love it!!

Beautiful views, plenty of deck seating to take it all in. Delicious homemade breakfast every morning, amazing uncrowded beaches a small hike away . Todd & Rocio are super knowledgeable of the area and can help you plan boat trips, horseback riding through the jungle, tips on dining in the area, hikes, and surf spots. The room we stayed in has an independent entrance, is fitted with a private bathroom and a communal kitchen right outside your door.

Mein Aufenthalt im Casa Viva la Vida war grossartig! Das Haus ist wunderschön mitten imJungle mit einer tollen Terrasse zum verweilen mit der Geräuschkulisse der Vögel, Grillen und Affen. Roció und Todd sind die perfekten Gastgeber, unkompliziert, mit tollen Tipps und jederzeit verfügbar. Todd gab mir Surfunterricht und war ein super Lehrer und sie organisierten einen tollen Ausflug mit einem Panga-Boot zu tollen Surfspots und Stränden :) Das Dorf Gigante ist umwerfend klein, sympathisch mit schönem Strand. Man kann auch super essen in Gigante! Rundum ein tolles Erlebnis

The stay at Todd and Rocios place was absolutely pleasant, and was an Airbnb we had never been to since it was perfectly situated in the Jungle but only at 10-15 min walk to the beach/town providing both perfect experiences. The communication with the hosts was quick, and clear. The set up worked out great for us- Roció and Todd are located separately on the top floor and our rooms were privately on bottom floor over looking the views of the jungle. The outdoor furniture that is provided was perfect for a cozy hangout spot to have some beers and food. We wanted to take a trip to San Juan Del Sur so we asked the host if they can help set that up for us as they had mentioned that this was possible so with their help they set that up perfectly and enjoyed a nice day trip to SJDS to surf and eat and explore the town. I would highly recommend this place to anyone - great for couple/families/solo travelers.

Me and my husband stayed here and it was amazing, they adjusted the room for us and connected the 2 beds to make a king bed. They're hospitality was great! They offered breakfast for us when we woke and offered us trips down to the local town and beach. The house was in the middle of the Jungle and the view was amazing, there were also mornings where we were able to see monkeys in the trees. Overall amazing experience here and if I'm able to come to Playa Gigante again I would come back!
