The Space
Casa Soulmate (left) is a hidden gem located in Playa Garza, Nosara. It offers a peaceful and secure vacation rental just minutes from the beach. This unique property features two mirror-image twin houses connected by a central swimming pool. Each house is fully equipped and designed with high ceilings and spacious interiors that create a tranquil atmosphere.
Casa Soulmate (left) is the house on the left side available for rent. It includes:
- Two bedrooms and two bathrooms
- One bedroom with a private bathroom and two queen beds
- Another bedroom with a twin bed and a king bed
- Terraces
- Swimming pool
- Multiple outdoor seating areas for sunbathing and relaxation

Location
Playa Garza is situated in the Nosara area of Guanacaste. The beach is characterized by white sand and palm trees, creating a picturesque setting. It has a rocky coastline and is popular among experienced surfers.
Although Playa Garza is close to Playa Guiones, a well-known tourist spot, it remains relatively uncrowded. The beach is ideal for those seeking solitude and clear waters.
The access road to the property is mostly gravel and in poor condition, but it is still accessible by car with careful driving.

Casa Soulmate offers a strategic location that allows guests to disconnect and relax while being close to various activities:
- 1 minute from Playa Garza, where you can enjoy fishing tours, trips to Isla Rosada (famous for its pink sand), and catamaran rides

- 15 minutes by car to Playa Guiones, known for some of the best surfing waves in the area and stunning sunsets
- 30 minutes to Playa Ostional, famous for turtle nesting events involving multiple species
- 45 minutes to San Juanillo, a beautiful white sand beach with turquoise waters, gentle waves, and rock formations. The beach is divided into two parts, both suitable for swimming and snorkeling

A perfect spot for summer with family and friends—beautiful, clean, and full of charm. The location is super convenient, close to amazing beaches and great restaurants. We also met Chelo, the surf instructor, and had an awesome time surfing. Pura Vida, mae!

We had an amazing time!! Mariela was so helpful on very short notice to book and was always quick to respond. The place was great and such a good deal. The pool was clean and lovely. We took surf lessons with Marcelo who set us up with boards, and he was the best! We are all beginners and had a fantastic time. He really went above and beyond. House is great proximity to Garza and guiones. Would definitely recommend to others. Thank you!!

Beautiful house just a short driving distance from busy Guiones and close to some sleepy gems in Playa Garza. Hosts were friendly and very responsive. The pool is small but gorgeous. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. They are building a gas station just behind the property but the noise was not a deterrent. We had a great time and would return for sure.

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at Mariela's place:) Everything could not have been more perfect:) Mariela was so incredibly kind and instantly responsive, she and her team: Wilberth the caretaker went above and beyond with all that he did for us and we especially enjoyed meeting Marcielo the famous surfer/instructor who gave us great tips on what waves were always working and a place to go where we experienced the most magical time ever:) I am an airbnb host in LA and the UK and wish that Mariela and her team could manage my places:) Such a lovely experience, Casa Soulmate is by far the best place in Garza. So much Pura Vida!

Mariela is a wonderful Host! We stayed in Soulmate Left, the home was perfect for our group of 3 adults. Walking into the home felt just as the photos displayed. The kitchen had plenty of cookware and dishes and the bedrooms are very comfortable. There was nothing we needed that was not provided. We plan to return again next year. Thank you Mariela!

We (2 adults and a toddler) mostly enjoyed our stay. It's a cool space with plenty of room, beautiful plants and good a/c. the pool is beautiful and everyone involved with this property is super friendly and kind. However, we did have some experiences that did not match our expectations: there is not much privacy as the house is right next to another house and there is a house for the property caretakers. Folks are around (they are very friendly, but it does not feel like a private space). The blinds shading the common spaces are sheer and do not provide much privacy. The guard dog, Luna, is the sweetest cutest dog ever, but her barking did keep us awake a couple times (Mariela was responsive when we brought up this issue). the property itself is beautifully designed with lovely plants but it is not a nice walk to Garza/beach. You will want to have a car. At the risk of sounding like a spoiled American, we had a good experience but I suppose we expected perfection for the splurge.
