Overall, happy with our stay. The place was clean, bed was comfortable, location is right on the beach (although suffers from the infamous sargassum), a/c worked well. Host was friendly and responsive. They even helped us carry some heavy suitcases up two flights of stairs. Two complaints: (1) there is not dryer in the unit, as advertised; and (2) the resort amenities mentioned in the listing - particularly access to the swim-up bar - are only for all-inclusive guests. You can purchase all-inclusive wrist bans on a day-to-day basis for about $52 US per adult & $26 per child. Kind of an important detail since the host decided to include photos and mention the pool bar. There is nowhere onsite to purchase food or a drink without purchasing all-inclusive access.

This place was an awesome location for those wanting to sit by the water and relax. The all inclusive activities where good for the kids. There is not much close by in the wY of shopping or restaurants. I recommended some additional supplies like a cooler, beach bags and sand toys, as well as snorkling gear. Also some cupboards are locked and there was no place to hang towels. I also recommend more comfortable lounges on the deck. The view is beautiful but chairs are not comfortable. The front desk staff was not friendly or helpful at all. There is no wifi in the lounge for Airbnb customers. Laura our host paid for two devices to have wifi the last two days because apparently the resort changed these rules recently. Overall the time was safe, comfortable and not too busy.
