Mahalo ~ Villa Palmera ~ Private Pool

What a perfect villa for me, my daughter and her boyfriend. Karina, the site manager, was so helpful. I was able to ask many questions before arriving making everything feel seamless once we were at the gorgeous villa. We used the pool after long days at the beach, ate breakfast on site each morning and ate at all the recommended restaurants. We cannot wait to return! It was such a relaxing few days!

Our family of four had a wonderful stay! It was just the right size with everything we needed. Great restaurants within walking distance and everything we needed in the kitchen to cook simple meals (oil, salt, etc.) The coffee was a nice touch too. Highly recommend!

Unser Aufenthalt im Mai 2026 war einfach traumhaft. Die Unterkunft sah genauso aus wie auf den Fotos – ein echtes Paradies. Sehr ruhig, gemütlich und unglaublich stilvoll eingerichtet. Auch die Nähe zu tollen Surfspots hat unseren Urlaub perfekt gemacht. Coco und Jean waren sehr herzlich, immer hilfsbereit und hatten tolle Empfehlungen für die Gegend. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Karina, die Managerin der Unterkunft: immer erreichbar, freundlich und gut gelaunt, mit wertvollen Tipps und viel Unterstützung während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts. Auch das Essen war hervorragend. Wir haben dort öfter gefrühstückt und Kaffee getrunken – alles war immer liebevoll zubereitet und sehr lecker. Das gesamte Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam. Gleichzeitig hat man kaum bemerkt, wie regelmäßig der Pool gereinigt oder die Unterkunft gepflegt wurde – alles lief unauffällig, professionell und perfekt organisiert im Hintergrund. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We absolutely loved our stay at MAHALO. The place is just a short walk from the beach, making it the perfect location to enjoy the ocean and completely disconnect. The villas are beautifully designed, with a Santorini-inspired style — but with a more tropical vibe — creating a relaxing and elegant atmosphere at the same time. The whole property feels very private and peaceful, which made it ideal for resting and unwinding. The pool was spotless and perfect for relaxing after spending time at the beach. Every detail of the place was thoughtfully designed and truly made the experience special. We would definitely come back. A magical place to enjoy Popoyo with comfort, privacy, and lots of charm.

Very beautiful place to stay. Looks just like the pictures. It’s a perfect place to stay to relax. It was my first solo trip, they answered very question I had, arranged transportation pick and drop off.

Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft und haben uns insgesamt sehr wohlgefühlt. Alles war wie beschrieben, sauber und gut ausgestattet – man merkt, dass sich hier viel Mühe gegeben wird. Ein kleiner Verbesserungspunkt betrifft den Pool: Bei unserer Ankunft hätte dieser etwas sauberer sein können. Er wurde zwar am zweiten Tag morgens gereinigt, leider sind wir da bereits wieder abgereist, sodass wir ihn nicht mehr nutzen konnten. Trotzdem können wir die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

I love Mahalo! It has quickly become one of my families favorite vacation spots, its peaceful and quiet, affordable and comfortable, you feel right at home! We are kind of heavy packers and the staff was super helpful with assisting us in carrying our luggage over to the room, we had a couple of water and power issues but it’s because of local construction site, other than that the place is beautiful! The beach is a short walk away, you even might catch a couple of little crabs along the way, the place is pet friendly, I was able to bring my two small dogs, overall the staff is very accommodating, nice and attentive, we already have booked to come back in September! Thank you Jean and Coco for providing such a beautiful place for couples and family alike 🫶🏻
