A very relaxing stay! Beautiful, comfortable and large house, wonderful gardens, pools and outside sitting and eating areas. Well equiped but would need better knives in the kitchen and trouble shooting instructions for the equipment. Beautiful views, lots of birds and other animals. Be aware that you don't only need a 4 x 4 vehicule, but an experienced self confident driver and you might not want to drive the road up at night time. Very helpful and available host.

Beautiful home with amazing views. Our own paradise. The outdoor living area was very comfortable and connected you with native wildlife and landscape. Coffee in the morning surrounded by the butterflies was breathtaking…. Ended the day in the infinity pool watching the picturesque sunset over the pacific…. Could not ask for a more relaxing stay. Our host Jenny was always responsive and super friendly made the stay that more enjoyable. Thank you Jenny for sharing your home with us.

This jungle oasis is beautiful and the view is amazing. We experienced beautiful sunsets and saw beautiful birds daily in the trees around us. I would have loved to stay longer because it is such a beautiful house and very private. The kids loved the pools too. I do believe for outsiders visiting Costa Rica you should arrive on your first day to the villa during daylight hours, with a 4x4 vehicle. We arrived at night and the roads and steep terrain can be intimidating your first time. During the day it’s much less intimidating but I believe a 4x4 should definitely be required. Also, the house only has air conditioning in the rooms. The common areas do not have air conditioning and can get hot during the day but there are plenty of ceiling fans. In summary, the house is gorgeous, the view is amazing and so is Jenny, she is a Top notch host. If you can deal with the terrain and lack of air conditioning in the common spaces, this house is second to none. We had a great time.

We had a great stay at Jennys place! The highlight is definitely the outdoor space. The pool is a great size, it has a big flat yard which is rare, and the view is world class. We loved seeing all the birds and animals. The only negative we would say is the listing states it has central air but the main living area and kitchen isnt air conditioned. This probably isnt a big deal to most but is to us. And there was no propane grill (only a charcoal) so we had to cook inside. But other than that it was a great stay. Jenny was a great host. Shes very attentive and quick to respond to any questions. Overall a great property. I would recommend this place if you are okay without having a/c in the main living space.

If you’re looking for something remote, peaceful, serene with lots of wildlife and a breathtaking view, this is it!! The outdoor area was fabulous. The air conditioned bedrooms worked very well. The house was very well furnished and Jenny was an awesome host!! My family and I highly recommend staying here just make sure to rent a 4X4 vehicle.

Our stay at Jenny’s was wonderful! Yesterday morning there was 15 toucans in the backyard and then a scarlet macaw flew over our heads while we were relaxing in the pool! There were blue morphos in the backyard and the most spectacular view. The road in on the mountain was also very impressive! Loved our stay and would love to come back! Thanks Jenny!

Wow, what a piece of paradise! So peaceful and beautiful - the pictures do not do the oceanview justice. We spent a week here with a baby and my parents. We loved sitting on the patio drinking coffee and watching the toucans and monkeys mingle in nearby trees - perfect entertainment! The patio is amazing - so many different sitting areas to enjoy the view and stay in the shade after getting sun at the pool. The drive up is for the adventurous - roughly 15 minutes on steep gravel roads. Highly recommend arriving during the day - we took a wrong turn but were able to find our way but certainly glad we did not have to navigate in the dark! There is a great grocery store (Jucaloa) right at the bottom on the hill to stock up on food and the kitchen was well equipped for whipping together meals. Jenny was a fantastic host - very responsive and friendly, flexible check-in and even helped us find a local masseuse to come to the home (who was fantastic!). Thanks, Jenny!

Staying at Jenny’s place was just perfect! My husband and I stayed there for 11 days and felt right at home. The grounds, home, and vista are spectacular. Jenny checked in frequently to make sure we had all we needed during our stay. A beautiful home and magical location.
