Unser Aufenthalt war wirklich super, die Bungalows sind noch viel schöner als auf den Fotos, es ist super sauber, die Küche ist prima eingerichtet und es fehlt an nichts. Wir waren hier als Familie mit Kleinkind und Baby und können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Der Garten ist wunderschön und man kann es sich am Pool gut gehen lassen und die wunderschöne Natur genießen. Wir waren für eine Woche hier und man kann wirklich viel unternehmen und Olivier hat tolle Tipps. Olivier und Isabelle sind wirklich sehr nette Gastgeber und geben sich große Mühe, dass es an nichts fehlt. Sie sind beide sehr liebenswert und stehen mit Rat und Tat bereit. Wir hatten eine tolle und sehr entspannte Zeit hier und können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Das Frühstück sollte man auch probieren, es gibt selbst gebackenes Baguette und leckere selbstgemachte Mangomarmelade.

The phidgie lodge was was cozy and charming. We enjoyed the simplicity of our bungalow and really embracing the Costa Rican motto of 'pura vida'. The pool area is breathtaking and we spent many days and nights out there. There are so many unique and beautiful plants out there, looking up the sky at any time of day (or night) is so gorgeous and the way you are nestled within the plants really give you private view. Our favorite part was the view of it all with the full moon one night - it was a gorgeous scene. Oliver and Isabelle were great communicative hosts, took great care of us, and kept the property well upkeep and clean every day. They also had great recommendations of activities and helped us book excursions. If you like snorkeling and get the chance to go on the snorkeling tour at cano island with la perla del sur, do it! We're so glad Isabelle and Oliver recommended it to us. Oliver is also a very friendly and funny host with tons of stories, make sure you chat with him a bit too when you stay!

We stayed here almost four years ago and were lucky enough to stay again on this visit to southern Costa Rica. You can expect friendly hosts, good local tips, a beautiful garden, and a comfortable stay. There are nice beaches and great food options nearby. Ojochal is also a good place to stay for wildlife tours based out of Sierpe or before heading south to Corcovado or Golfito. Highly recommend staying here!

Accueil parfait. Olivier et Isabelle par leur gentillesse et disponibilité nous ont permis de passer un séjour parfait. Ils se sont chargés de nous conseiller parfaitement et nous ont même réservé les tours qui correspondaient à ce que nous cherchions. La maison est idéalement situé dans une des plus belles régions du Costa Rica, un emplacement qui permet de tout faire dans un rayon proche. La voiture (4X4) est à mes yeux indispensable pour pouvoir tout faire. Olivier et Isabelle ont permis à notre fils de passer des vacances de rêve et pour cela nous leur serons toujours reconnaissant.

First and foremost: Olivier and Isabelle deserve to be given super host status. Class individuals, and truly want your stay to be better than you could hope. Would most definitely stay with them again!

Great place in an absolutely amazing setting. Hosts were very accommodating. Ojochal is a small town. For groceries Uvita is the best option. For really good bread ask Olivier or Isabelle for the good French bakery. Don't end up going to the wrong one all week like we did 😁

We loved Olivier and we loved Ojochal!! It was so beautiful. Their place was very handiaccessible for our son. It was so much and beautiful and we ate by the pool a few times. They are so nice and understanding and positive and good people! It was within walking distance to the super market which is a requirement for everywhere I stay as my son has dietary needs. It was everything it looks like and more! My only regret is that we could not stay longer than the three nights that I booked it. Perfect place and best play to stay in Ojochal!!! xoxo

Un petit coin de paradis au Costa Rica. Une adresse incontournable sur la côte du Pacifique Sud. Je ne vais pas répéter tout ce qui a été dit, je vais donc parler plutôt de l'emplacement. Nombreuse excursions à proximité : Manuel Antonio, Isla Del Cano, Corcovado, Nauyaca Waterfall, Hacienda Baru, Reserve de la Borruca etc... Bons restaurant à proximité, Boulangerie Française et on profite de tout cela dans un lodge parfaitement propre, très bien équipé, avec un jardin et une piscine de rêve. Merci à vous deux

Première étape de notre séjour au Costa Rica dans un véritable petit paradis. Un éveil total de nos sens: l'ouie avec le chant des oiseaux au petit matin, l odorat avec les senteurs d ylang ylang et d'oranger, la vue avec ce magnifique jardin arboré et la multitude d animaux qui y resident. En effet ce n est pas rare de pouvoir y apercevoir un toucan, un iguane, un trogon, un écureuil, un colibri, un papillon... En ce qui concerne les bungalows on s y sent vraiment bien, l'atmosphère y est cosy grâce à la décoration réalisée avec gout. La piscine ressemble à un petit Oasis avec les plantes qui l entourent et les différentes zones de repos. Et enfin les propriétaires Olivier et Isabelle ont été exceptionnelles de part leur accueil, leur disponibilité, leurs conseils et leur gentillesse. Des moments inoubliables dans un endroit incroyable.
