Pacific SurfShack Ocean View Mal Pais/Santa Teresa

Wow 1000/10. If you are traveling to Santa Teresa, book this Airbnb. It is in Mal Pais which is like right down the road, out of the hustle and bustle but super close to everything. You drive up a massive hill to get here but it is quite fun on an ATV & so so worth it for the BEAUTIFUL view. The Airbnb is so beautifully designed & one of those places you never want to leave. Tomas was so helpful throughout our stay. Marina, the cleaner, cleaned daily & even did some laundry for us. I could go on & on but it is truly paradise!

Ja, der Weg ist eine mentale Herausforderung ....aber es ist ein Paradies ...wir waren alle 4 geflasht ....ein wunderschöner Ort ...ein Stück vom Himmel ...Lieben Dank für diese tolle Zeit und wie auch unsere letzte Unterkunft: 5 Sterne waren zu wenig ....

The surfshack is gorgeous! Amenities were top notch, Rylie connected us with his concierge Tomas who was very friendly and checked in on us a few times during our travel to make sure we were having any issues. We asked about an ATV and they had one delivered to us and they even came and picked it up when we left, that made things very convenient. 100% need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get to the house and would definitely recommend an ATV to drive around Santa Teresa. We left out some dirty clothes from a hike we had done in the jungle the day before and we came back and the housekeeper had come and cleaned our clothes, which was a pleasant surprise! The sunsets and sunrises in the home was unbeatable! There are very beautiful flowers everywhere in the garden around the pool which leads to plenty of different birds, and hearing howler monkeys from the beach below. Would definitely recommend and would return to enjoy this beautiful home.

What a beautiful place, gorgeous house and a view to die for. Tranquil, relaxing with enough butterflies to remind you that you’re still in the jungle.Tomas and Mari were extremely welcoming, helpful even before our arrival. The road is a disaster and not for the faint hearted (probably worse for us because of the rainy season) but Tomas arranged for an ATV to be delivered to us - stress-free after that. Thank you so much for sharing this treasure with us!

This property is an absolute must star in Costa Rica! You get the best of both worlds. It's close enough to town for you to try all of the local restaurants and see the beach but it's tucked up a hill, giving you privacy and close proximity to nature. Highly recommend!

El hospedaje es espectacular de principio a fin, tal cual se muestra en las fotos. He visitado la zona muchas veces y nunca me había hospedado en un lugar tan mágico. La atención de Tomas fue súper especial, esperamos regresar muy pronto.

Accueil parfait de Tomas qui a été très serviable et agréable. La villa est d’une très grande beauté autant pour son architecture que sa décoration. Nous nous sommes sentis privilégiés d’y séjourner. L’entretien est impeccable et nous avons particulièrement apprécié la piscine. L’accès n’est pas facile mais en vaut la peine. Le concept semi-ouvert du salon/cuisine et des WC amène la présence de petits insectes mais ne nous a pas importuné. Bref, expérience géniale que nous ne sommes pas près d’oublier.

Een 4 x4 is wel handig om boven te komen. Jammer dat er in de slaapkamer met stapelbed geen A/C is. Er was wel een ventilator, maar deze deed het niet. Is gelijk opgehaald om te repareren, maar we hebben hem nooit meer teruggezien … dat was erg jammer. De dame die komt schoonmaken is een schat. Heerlijk ook dat je kleding wordt gewassen.

Truly amazing place.. what a home in the middle of nature, all exactly as in the pictures. Fantastic location with beautiful nature around you.
