We had an amazing stay at Villa Port Vell in Puerto Viejo. The home was beautiful, spacious, comfortable and it had all the amenities needed for a family vacation. The location is great as well; close to all the beaches and an easy 5-minute drive to downtown Puerto Viejo. We were a group of 7 including 2 kids and we all loved our 6-night stay. I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Puerto Viejo!

We were a group of 9, ranging in age from 5 to 75, and the house worked perfectly for all of us. The hosts were incredibly responsive and accommodating, making sure every request was taken care of. The location is ideal, very convenient while still feeling quiet, peaceful, and safe. The home itself is exceptionally well-maintained and clean, and it truly had everything we needed, from card games and pool toys for the kids to a fully equipped kitchen for family meals and even beach chairs. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The house was an excellent choice, and we would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone considering a visit.

We had a great stay! The home was spacious, comfortable, and had an amazing vibe. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches like the fresh pineapple, papaya, and wine—such a warm welcome. The location was super convenient, close to all the beaches, and the neighborhood felt very safe and peaceful. We’d definitely stay here again!

This house was a good find for our family of 4. It was quiet enough, but still close to the beaches. We went to Punta Uva everyday for the calmer waves and it was a quick drive there. We also went to a lot of the restaurants they recommended which were very close to the house. A quick drive to Manzanillo also. The beds were very comfortable with soft sheets, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed if we cooked at the house. They even had drinking water for us, nice! There was plenty of space in the house, the pictures don’t do it justice…the pictures make it seem a little colder and not homey but it felt homey!!! The pool was wonderful and there were plenty of towels and lounge chairs to hang out. The host were responsive when we were booking and asking about location and safety of the house. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. Highly recommend this house for your trip.

This was such a beautiful home! Great accommodations for a family vacation. Lots of space for relaxation! Great location to local area and beach! Easy to grab a tuk tuk or rent bikes to get around to places. Beach access, however we rode our bikes to Punts Uva or into town where we spent most our time. I highly recommend this home for your vacation, it did not disappoint!

We truly enjoyed our stay! Even though it rained everyday we still had fun at the pool, cooking in the outdoor kitchen and playing lots of games that were provided. The bed was extremely comfortable and the entire house was spotless. They thought of everything, I needed a cutting board at the outdoor kitchen and guess what ? There was one. Everything was laid out for our convenience. Thanks for the welcome gifts!

Believe all the positive reviews. This house is even better in person. In a great location. We saw toucans every day. Sloths and monkeys from the backyard. The private path the beach is gorgeous. The only thing we didn’t like was that we had to leave

Perfect place We truly loved our stay. The house was very comfortable, well maintained, and had everything we needed. Everything worked great, the location was excellent, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Nos encantó la casa. Éramos 6 adultos y 6 niños. El lugar está impecable, era muy cómodo. Súper limpio y además con un servicio complementario de limpieza que nos ayudó mucho al andar con tantos niños. Las instalaciones muy bien pensadas. Un lujo de casa. Los anfitriones un amor. Siempre atentos y pendientes de contestar dudas. Realmente recomendable. Volveremos
