Breathtaking Ocean View from Amazing Infinity Pool

Una excelente estadía, desde un inicio DJ fue muy agradable y súper flexible en nuestras solicitudes. El personal que cuida la casa también siempre amables y respetuoso. Mi familia disfruto mucho esta estadía.

Maravilloso todo! la casa linda e impecable. La vista un espectaculo. Norlan y Fredy increíbles. Fredy cocina divinoo y es demasiado amable y atento. los 8 humanos que fuimos y la perrita la pasamos de maravilla. Volveremos a probar la pizza de Fredy.

We enjoyed our stay at stay during Holy Week. Freddie is a great cook and was very attentive to making sure we had everything we needed.

This house is absolutely beautiful! The pictures do not do it justice. Very spacious, comfortable. The infinity pool was beautiful and the view from the house, breathtaking. The beach is less that a 5 minute walk and it is absolutely beautiful. My family and I fell in love with the house a d the beach...we did not want to leave! Jim, the property manager was very pleasant and responsive. Freddy and Norlan, the property care takers were very pleasant and extremely helpful. Freddy is an excellent cook! I highly recommend hiring him during your stay. If you want a relaxing getaway, away from the city, this is the place to stay.

AMAZING home, infinity pool, staff and location! From start to finish our stay at Casa Mariposa was fantastic and we didn't want to leave. Greeted with a delicious welcome rum cocktail then promptly began relaxing poolside, a place we'd spend much time, watching the hypnotic waves directly below at Playa el Coco til sunset. In San Juan del Sur, sunset time is an event in itself. Beautiful! The house layout and decor are incredibly attractive, and inviting with all the comforts and amenities we'd expect at home (kitchen, dining amenities, music, great showers, towels, etc.) plus clean as a whistle upon arrival and throughout our stay. Slept great in really comfortable bed and having the water feature outside is a nice, peaceful sound to drift off to. Didn't need to use the AC much with ample breezes + ceiling fans but nice for a quick blast of cool. In addition to making delicious cocktails, Fredis made us couple fantastic meals by request. Both Fredis and Norlan were great and so friendly. This beach is probably our favorite in San Juan and just a short walk down from the house. We don't surf but enjoyed watching surfers while we swam and enjoyed lunch with cold beers at the restaurant. It's THE beach for long walks, seashell collecting and no crowds. We can't thank our hosts enough for the hospitality and enjoyment we experienced at Casa Mariposa, Muchas gracias!

One cannot begin to describe the magic of this home and property, as the photos do not do it justice!! We feel so honored to have been able to spend the week there and enjoy every beautiful detail that Marc designed, along with the nature that Playa el Coco offers. We fell in love with the 3 little dogs that live there and Fredi, the caretaker, who cut wood for us every evening and lit the huge outdoor grill to cook filet mignon from the local market. The best part, was meeting Jim Jersey, who is the property manager. He told us everything we needed to know about the area and was there for anything we needed. He is our new friend and an absolute angel!!! We rode horses, we zip lined, we saw monkeys playing in the trees on the road leading to the house!! There was one major problem with this house, once we got there, we had a very difficult time leaving. We would wake up every morning and try to go down the hill to see the sights and there where several days where we just stayed at the house because we where so relaxed and happy there :D By far our best Airbnb experience and made our first trip to Nicaragua heavenly!! I highly recommend this home for a very private and zen getaway or romantic honeymoon. It is very secluded, but just 25 minutes from San Juan (if you want to see people, party, and shop etc.). If you can rent a 4 wheel drive, definitely do because you will be able to get up the road a bit faster. We did not, however everything was fine and driving a bit slower allows you to see the monkeys and beautiful landscape that is "The Road to Casa Mariposa"...AMAZING!!! Definitely stop at the Pali Market before you get to the house to grab your groceries and plan on the best chill time you have ever had in your life! Muchos Gracias Marc, Jim, Fredi and the pups!!!
