The Space
Casa de las Palmas is a stunning villa located in the heart of Tulum’s lively beach area. Just steps from the sea and near boutique hotels, well-known restaurants, and a yoga studio, it offers an ideal setting for a tropical getaway. The villa features elegant architecture and carefully selected details that create a serene and inspiring atmosphere.
Designed with natural materials and artistic accents, the villa reflects Tulum’s relaxed and inviting vibe. The main living area opens directly onto soft white sand, leading to a beautiful pathway to your private beach area equipped with shaded palapas, day beds, and loungers. Guests have access to boogie boards, stand-up paddleboards, and sea kayaks for use during their stay.
Casa de las Palmas has recently been renovated and includes four bedrooms accommodating 8 to 10 guests. The property boasts a bright, creative beach ambiance and offers access to the private Mahayana seaside pool.
The master bedroom is located on the top floor, surrounded by palm canopies. Patio doors open to welcome sea breezes, creating a perfect retreat. The rooftop terrace is ideal for watching breathtaking sunsets over the jungle, admiring panoramic views of the turquoise Caribbean Sea, or stargazing at night.
On the second floor, there are two bedrooms with sea views, fresh breezes, a shared balcony, and private ensuite bathrooms with showers. One bedroom has a king-size bed, while the other includes a queen-size bed and built-in bunk beds, suitable for children or young guests.
The fourth bedroom is situated on the main floor and features a queen bed, an ensuite bathroom, and a Juliette balcony overlooking the garden greenery.
The villa encourages energy conservation by promoting the use of natural ventilation during the day. Guests are advised to close windows at night or when air conditioning is in use.
Location
Casa de las Palmas is part of the gated Mahayana Tulum property, which offers direct access to a private beachfront. The location allows guests to enjoy a close connection to nature while maintaining privacy.
Tulum is a year-round destination known for its consistent sea breezes and sunshine. From May to November, turtles nest on the beach right in front of the villa.

Snows place was right in the middle of the action during the day but just a bit further from the loud notorious music from a handful of night clubs. Beach and amenities were as described, functional and very clean. Onsite restaurant is a great addition if you want to enjoy the beach without flexing a muscle all day. I highly recommend Snow’s place and we looking forward to our next visit

This is an incredible property right on the beach, walking distance to great restaurants and bars but just far enough away to stay nice and quiet. The rooms stayed cool (even in mid august) and everything was very comfortable. I will definitely be back again next time!

I celebrated my 60th birthday with friends and family at Mahayana Palmas. It was absolutely perfect! The accommodations were lovely, room for all 9 of us, plenty of beach seating, and we just loved the little palapa with breakfast and lunch items! It made it so easy to grab a fab coffee and head straight to the lounge chairs to soak up the morning sun. Turtles were nesting and we were able to watch mounds multiply on the beaches. The seaweed situation was unfortunate but didn't detract from the overall stay. We walked easily to amazing restaurants and shops all week. We enjoyed a private dinner outside one evening catered in by an amazing chef. The atmosphere made it so easy to relax and simply enjoy Tulum! Every aspect of our week was fantastic! Thank you to your staff and Chabely (sp?) for going above and beyond our expectations!

Casa De Las Palmas was magical! The house was laid out beautifully for a large group like ours, 8 adults with spacious, private rooms with bathrooms. Chabely, the house manager is one of the sweetest people you will meet! The house had everything you could need or want. We had groceries and drinks delivered before we arrived, making the stay stress free. We opted for the tacos and margaritas and it was magical to arrive with the amazing scent of food being cooked in our villa and being handed a margarita as soon as we stepped in...amazing! The villa has is an amazing taco stand where you can grab breakfast or lunch whenever you want. The location of the house is ideal! It is nice and secluded enough that you don't have the thumping of clubs, but close enough to walk to them when you want to party. There are amazing restaurants nearby and I HIGHLY recommend Arca and Nu. I am still thinking about the dinners we had! All being said, we will be back! Thank you!

The villa was very cute and clean and in a perfect area of Tulum! It was right on the beach and had an amazing chef for breakfast and lunch! My only complaint was that there were not enough beach chairs but other than that the villa was absolutely perfect and Snow was so easy to work with and all of the staff were so nice and friendly! Thank you so much for everything!
