This Airbnb was okay. The pros are that it is 15 minutes away from Secret Beach, and the con is that it is 30-40 minutes away from the water taxis. There is a section of the road to get to it that is extremely rough. I didn't expect that on a tourist island. I personally would not go back.

For clarity to future guests, the points raised in this review relate to public road conditions and the general location of the property—both of which are outside of a host’s control and are not a reflection of how the home is managed or maintained. The distance from town and approximate travel times are clearly and accurately stated in our listing so guests can make an informed decision prior to booking. <br/>We are fully transparent about the setting of the property, and many guests choose it specifically for its quieter location and proximity to Secret Beach. To be as accurate as possible, it is 10 min to Secret Beach and 30 min from the water taxi which is more of a central location in San Pedro town. While infrastructure varies throughout the island, our focus as hosts remains on providing a clean, well-maintained home and responsive, attentive service during each stay. We do not feel that this review of Belize roads should be in reflection to what we provide during a guest's stay.

Resistance at Barrier Reef was very nice and was exactly as described. The host was great at communicating. It offered every thing we needed.

Very nice place and very clean but the distance from the boat port is very far. We had to pay $70 American to catch a cab to this location which started off our trip on a terrible note, the tv never worked and had no cable or apps to use so when in the room there is absolutely nothing to do. The good thinks is it was closer to Secret Beach which was still an 45 min ride to get to. Also be aware that there not many things close to this property as far as food or bars or anything.

We’re glad you found the condo very nice and clean!<br/>Our listing does mention the location & the property's distance from town so guests can plan accordingly. While we understand that travel logistics can sometimes be challenging, we do offer to help with arrangements such as getting to the property, but your group did decide to book a cab yourself.  Unfortunately, the price charged by an independent cab company is outside of our control & shouldn't reflect on our property or service.  We do offer to arrange transportation w/companies that we recommend & will not charge unfairly. <br/>Our team was able to troubleshoot the TV with you during your stay.  Cable is working and we are sorry it was an issue.<br/>Secret Beach is approximately a 15 min drive from our location, making it convenient for those wanting to explore that area. While the property is in a peaceful and quiet location, there are great restaurants & cafes within a short golf cart ride. We wish you best of luck in future travels.

10/10 highly recommend! Loved it here. such a beautiful place to stay and they accommodate my room with decorations for my partners birthday!! I’d definitely come back!

Great quiet spot to relax. Great halfway spot for us too as we were half way to some fishing areas to the north and half way to town and right at the secret beach turnoff. Comfortable modern space.
